WW2 Military Issue Gas Mask and Front Pack To Police Constable P. Dobson, Bury Police Staion, Lancashire Constabulary. Pol 375 - Pol 375
An Original and Researchable WW2 Military Issue Gas Mask and Front Pack with a Transport And General Workers Union (T&GWU) Membership Card Issued in 1943 to P. Dobson of 47 Bury Road, Edenfield, a Methodist Church Edenfield Teaching Syllabus to Mr P. Dobson and a spare eye visor.The Gas mask was manufactured on 16/08/38 (1938) and manufactured by "L & B R Co Ltd" and has the War Department 'Broad Arrow' stamped on it. The elastic head straps are all serviceable and the Canister is in good condition. The mask is sized as "L" (Large. The rear head pad is stamped as "No. 4 MK III 8/38". The lenses are in good unscratched or damaged condition and the mask is supple and free of damage. The gas mask tube is flexible and undamaged. The canvas front pack has the shoulder strap and original string. It has brass press stud fastenings. Inside the flap it has "LA/Bury Divn/Police S.C. Sgt 686" in hand written pen. WW2 Era Home Front, British Police Inspector's Tommy Helmet Marked ‘7’ With Liner & Chinstrap. POL 357 - POL 357
This is a very good original, WW2, painted steel Police Inspector's 'Tommy' helmet. The helmet is painted blue and has its original Stenciled paint lettering 'POLICE' and rank Insignia bands. The inner rim of the helmet is stamped with what appears to be a number ‘7’. It has its original black oil cloth liner and sprung webbing chinstrap all of which are completely intact. The helmet is undamaged with no denting and it retains its original paint. It is approx. UK size 6 ½ -7. Price includes UK delivery. POL 357

A Victorian Police Presentation truncheon, hand decorated, by McNaughton, Glasgow and stamped with 332. The truncheon is made from a hard wood, and varnished. It is 18" long. It has a ringed baluster grip. The pommel is stamped with the maker's name, "McNaughton, Glasgow", (see one of the photographs). The truncheon is hand decorated with the Queen Victoria Royal Cypher (V.R.) and below this it is stamped with "332". This is a nice original truncheon. The price includes Uk delivery. Sn 10724

A police presentation truncheon hand made display stand to hold 7 x truncheons. The stands have been commissioned by ourselves and are hand made for displaying Police Presentation Truncheons. The stands are beautifully made and finished. They are made from hard wood and varnished. They have green baize in the truncheon 'seats' and four baize circles, one in each corner on the base. An original WW1 period Cheshire Constabulary uniform leather waist belt, buckle and clasp. The waist belt is dark brown leather and it has a very nice original patina. The belt is in excellent condition. It is 48" long when laid out flat. It has a buckle which allows it to be adjusted, in the photographs it is adjusted to 36". The belt has two leather loops. The clasp is nickel and has the Cheshire Constabulary crest in the centre along with "Cheshire Constabulary" around the outside. The leather fob behind the clasp has a number stamped on the reverse "106340" making it a researchable item. The stitching on the belt is all present and secure. The price includes Uk delivery. WW1 Metropolitan Special Constabulary Police Cap With Cap Badge to J. Compton Along with Metropolitan Special Constabulary 1914 Long Service Medal. POL 352 - POL 352
An original WW1 Metropolitan Special Constabulary Police Cap with cap badge to J. Compton along with a brass Metropolitan Special Constabulary 1914 Long Service Medal. The Metropolitan Special Constabulary was an unpaid force supporting full time Policemen in London during WW1. The hat has a blackened night badge to Metropolitan Special Constabulary with wearers loops on the reverse, held in place with a brass pin. The hat has a black leather hat band/chin strap held by two black buttons to the sides. The peak is black. The cap top and sides are in good undamaged condition. The inside of the cap has a brown leather sweat band with "Percy H. Lightfoot &" handwritten in ink inside. The top lining also has a white manufacturers stamp with "J. Compton Sons & Webb Ltd 7" inside. This is an excellent original cap. Along with the cap is a brass "Metropolitan Special Constabulary" Long Service Medal along with wearers bar. The price for the two items includes UK delivery.
