INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original WW2 1942 dated military service pack of 12 x inert .455” cartridges for the, Webley & Enfield Mk VI military revolvers. The two piece tan cardboard box has a paper label on it sealing the box closed and is printed in green 12 CARTRIDGES REVOLVER .455 INCH Mk II I.S.A.A. . There is a filling stamp printed on the label in black ink K21 10 42 (October 1942) The rounds are loaded with a lead bullet, and bear the headstamp K (Kynoch) ll (Mark 2). The rounds have a purple primer annulus. This is an original and complete pack in excellent condition. In the transition from rim fire cartridges to externally primed centre fire cartridges, an innovative internally primed centre fire cartridge was introduced. The internally primed cartridges were only in use for a short period of time before introduction of the externally primed rounds we know today. This is an original late Victorian pack of 25 inert internally primed centre fire rounds. This pack contains brass cased inert rounds with ‘CF’ (centre fire) & ‘380’ (calibre) marked Head Stamps. Inert Unfired 1938 Dated German 8x56R S Patronen 10 Round Service Pack Ammunition. Sn O 1036 - O 1036
This is a 10 round service pack of 8x56R rounds for the Austrian Steyr M95 stutzen. The Steyr M95 is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle (carbine.) Originally chambered on 8x50 the majority of them were rechambered in 8x56R between the two world wars. Many of the M95 rifles were also cut down to carbine length. They were made in Austria and Hungary; consequently the receiver rings are marked either "Steyr" or "Budapest." The headstamp is V111 19 38 German army national emblem eagle with swastika acceptance mark . The box has a label on the box dated 1938 and the ammunition maker code P635 for Gustloff-Werke Otto Eberhardt-Patronenfabrik, Hirtenberg Niederdonau, Austria under German occupation. This is an original service pack of 20 x INERT 9mm MK IZ rounds for use in the Sten and captured German weapons. The brass cased rounds are loaded with a copper jacketed round nosed bullet. The headstamp is ' HN 9mm 43' - with the WD arrow. This indicates that they were made at the MINISTRY OF SUPPLY FACTORY HIRWAN SOUTH WALES in 1943.
