**INERT DEACTIVATED** The Norma Factory was founded in 1902 by the Enger brothers from Oslo, Norway, who had founded Norma Projektilfabrik A/S a few years earlier. The Swedish shooting movement needed a supplier in Sweden, and a request was made for Norma Projektilfabrik A/S to set up in Sweden. From the very beginning, and until halfway through the 20th century, the company’s business was dominated by the production of military ammunition and ammunition for rifles, but the range of hunting equipment gradually became more and more interesting. This is a Norma Factory display board with brass rifle cartridges from .22 Hornet up to 9.3x62 and pistol cases from .32ACP up to .44 Magnum. Also displayed are a broad range of bullet heads to fit the cases all of the cases and bullets have identification markings on the clear plastic front viewing panel /cover above where each case or head is seated. The viewing panel is edged in red & has the Norma company name in Red and white together with imagery of game animals. It is also marked ‘made In Sweden’. The cartridge display board is made from moulded plastic which measures 19 ½” x 19 ½” x 2”. The board retains all of the display cartridges and bullet heads. All items are secure. INERT DEACTIVATED. British Kynoch unfired Martini Henry Rifle 577 x 450 (11.43 x 59R) round for the Martini Henry rifle adopted by the British army in 1874 and used until 1886. The round consists of a brass solid drawn brass case which is headstamped KYNOCH 577/450. The case is crimped onto a 480 grain white paper patched lead bullet indicating use in the rifle and not the carbine. DEACTIVATED INERT. This is a service pack of French 8mm (8x50R) rifle ammunition. The ammunition is contained in an outer brown paper wrapper and an inner concertina of the same heavy brown paper separating the rounds. The copper jacketed bullets have a spitzer point. The brass cartridge cases are headstamped TH PD 4 33 (1933 date). the outer wrapper is stamped in black ink ETUIS k (am) T.G. 4-33 Bes POUDRE BN3 F. TE. (Cartoucherie de la Seine) 8-32 in a box. There is also another black box stamped T.H 21-11-33 8 CARTBUCHES 1886 D (am) LOT 175. There are only 7 rounds in the packet, not 8. INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a 50 round box of 8mm (8 x 52R) T66 ball rounds for the Siamese T66 rifle. The Siamese Type 66 rifle is an export model of the Japanese Type 38 rifle ordered in 1923 and built in the Koishikawa arsenal. These rounds are made by Kynoch and are contained in a brown cardboard box with a Kynoch label saying 50 Kynoch 8mm Siamese cartridges, nitro cellulose powder, service bullet 180 grains. The cartridges are headstamped K68 8MMS with a purple primer annulus. The No1 500/450 x 2 ¾ inch black powder express cartridges are headstamped ELEY No 2 EXPs and have a brass cartridge case with a small copper primer. The rounds have solid or hollow lead bullets. This round was developed by Wesley Richards in the late 1870s and was used for dear stalking. The No 2 577/500 x 2 7/8 inch Black Powder Express round has a brass cartridge case and is headstamped Eley No 2 EXP. The round has a solid lead bullet with a copper tip and was made by necking down the 577 x 2 ¾ inch cartridge down to .500 inches The price includes UK delivery and no licence is required to possess inert rounds in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. This round is headstamped ELEY 450/400 NITRO and has a rounded copper primer. The bullet is a nickel jacketed with a lead tip. 450/400 Black Powder Express x 2 3/8 inch. Two brass cased 450/400 Black Powder Express x 2 3/8 inch rounds that are headstamped ELEY 450/400 with paper patched lead bullets with a copper tip. The last is a 400 x 3 inch Purdey with a straight brass case that is headstamped KYNOCH 400.P. and has a solid lead bullet. This is an original and rare November 1938 dated empty wooden ammunition box, originally containing 240 rounds of .455 revolver ammunition. The wooden box retains most of its original green paint. The box is complete with its original tinplate liner and has 6 original paper labels on it showing the contents of the box. The box is also stenciled in yellow K25 . 11.38 on the end with the rope carrying handle . The base of the box is stamped H 9 III. The box has its original closing pin and string which when pulled out allows the lid to slide forward and detach. . These display boards were produced by ammunition manufacturers in the 1970’s & 1980’s for Registered firearms dealers to display their products. Based in Kingston Upon Hull, Gamebore have been a manufacturer of quality shotgun ammunition for clay and game since 1973. This Gamebore display board has a range of colourful inert deactivated 12 gauge shotgun cartridge cases (without primers) all with clear manufacturer and calibre detail. The cartridges are displayed on the shield shaped blue wooden board which has a hinged backplate to allow free standing on floor or table. The colourful board has ‘Gamebore World leader painted to the front above a brass plate marked ‘Gamebore Sycamore Shooting Grounds (1947) and 16 ¼” square black board.
