*Inert* French ‘Grenade Type 46’. O 1646. - O 1646
This plastic grenade would have included a charge of 75 g of aluminum perchlorate which produced a detonation of 156 dB at 10m. Its full weight is 125 g; its size is 10cm x 6.2cm in diameter. Its shape resumes that of the XF1 practice grenade. It is manufactured by the ‘Ruggieri Company’. Its colour is dark brown. The marking includes a light brown band on the top of the body, followed by ‘GR ASSOUR TYPE 46’ ‘PK-AL’ in a circle followed by ‘2 Lot - RMS – 94’. The price includes U.K. delivery. O 1646

This is a Czech made URG 86 anti-personnel grenade. The body contains an inert matrix which is embedded with tiny pieces of steel wire. This example is all green and the spoon has URG-86-Rd and irv stamped into it. The grenade acts on the enemy's manpower with a large number of small fragments, but their effect decreases rapidly with increasing distance from the explosion site. Height: 117 mm. Diameter: 60 mm. This is a mini-fragmentation grenade (Internal fragmentation defensive grenade) in use by French armed forces and the armed forces of some African and Pacific nations. The casing is metal with an inner sleeve containing approximately 1100 fragments. Total Length: 95mm including the fuze , diameter: 53mm. Weight: 280gram total, including 55gram fuze and 80gram TNT. Active it would have had a 4 to 6 seconds delay fuze. The grenades are packed 20pcs in a wooden box, unfuzed. External stamps: ‘GREN HE APERS RAG’ ‘LU 213 LOT 04 LUL 89’. Near perfect condition. An Austria model: HdGr 78 Hand, defensive hand grenade. Length: 115 mm, Diameter: 60 mm, Weight: 520g, Filler: Plasticized PETN, 70g, Fuze: Striker release, Fuze delay: 3 to 5s, Construction: Textured plastic grenade body with four circumferential ribs. It has a plastic liner which contains approximately 6500 steel pellets ranging from 2 to 2.3 mm in diameter. Colour and markings: The grenade and fuze bodies are olive green. "Spl HGr 78" and "ARGES" are embossed on the grenade body. The grenade contains a "wave shaper" which the manufacturer claims will increase the overall effectiveness considerably. The original launcher attachment is 29cm long. This model was first introduced in the late 1970s. Different coloured bands painted on the body denote what it was used for. *Rare* Inert British 1915 No 16 ‘Emergency Hand Grenade’. 18210-34. - 18210:34
The Grenade, hand, No 16. Mark I was the last of the so-called ‘emergency grenades’ introduced in the first half of 1915 at the same time as the No 15 grenade. The No 16 grenade consists of an oval shaped cast iron body with internal segmenting grooves and filled ammonal. A screwed plug at one end carries the igniter fuse. The igniter consists of a No 8 VII detonator secured to a length of safety fuse, the other end of which carries igniting composition protected by a lead capsule with tear off tape. The igniter is secured by copper wires twisted around the plug. The Nos. 15 and 16 grenades are packed 12 in a wooden box with space for a tin box containing 12 igniters and for two brassards. Length: 3 ½ “ Diameter: 2 ¼ “ Weight: 510g. This rare example is in good condition with original fuse and copper wire. The price includes U.K. delivery. 18210:34.

Made by ‘Eurometaal’ which is an industrial military complex that set up camp in Zaandam around 1900, and adopted the name ‘Eurometaal’ in 1973. ‘Eurometaal’ has developed weaponry for the Royal Netherlands Army from NR20 C1 hand grenades to tanks. This grenade used the Nr19C3/20C1 fuse with a 3-4.2seconds delay element. The inner wall of the plastic body was covered with tiny steel balls for fragmentation. Length: 105 mm, diameter: 62mm. **INERT** DEACTIVATED** WW2 British & Canadian 1943 Dated Mills No.36M MK1, Hand Grenade By Kynoch & Co. Witton, Birmingham . O 1640. - O 1640
This is an excellent, original, WW2, Mills No.36M MK 1, hand and rifle grenade. The 36M refers to the pattern of Grenade 36 M originally 'Mesopotamia' and the fact they were waterproofed. The casing of the grenade has its original lacquer finish and has cast marking ‘K’ Kynoch & Co. Witton, Birmingham . The alloy base plug is marked 'No 36M Mk 1’ and 43 (1943 date) together with manufacturer mark ‘Schultz Diecasting Co.’, Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada. It is also marked ‘Z’ on the body of the grenade indicating alloy components. The grenade has its original lever stamped by? , ring with pin, alloy filler plug, spring and striker. The casing has ruminants of original painted ‘green band’ filler indicators. The price includes UK delivery. O 1640.

INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a near mint Yugoslav M50 P3 hand grenade in its original O ringed plastic 2 piece screw together transit container. The grenade body has a left hand thread for the fuse, the body being adapted to various differing types of fuses. The body is made of two cast iron halves with a grooved internal fragmentation surface. The grenades body retains all of its original green paint and yellow stencilling BP,M50N3 P3K8901,P . The plastic fuse has a left hand thread and lacquered fly off lever which is stencilled in black 9008. The green plastic O ringed transit container is stencilled in yellow BP, M50N3 P3K8901,P on the top.
