INERT. British,1954 Dated, No.94 Mark II, Energa Practice Rifle Grenade. - O 2055 INERT. This is an original British Number 94 Mark II, Energa practice rifle grenade. These series of grenades were the last of the rifle propelled grenades were fired by a blank cartridge in the rifle. The Energa grenades were replaced by the 84mm Carl Gustav recoilless rifle in the 1970s. This is an unfired practice No 94 mark 1 rifle grenade that retains much of its original painted finish and stencilling. . The alloy rifle grenade has a steel nosecone is undamaged. The rifle grenade has a dark blue body and alloy fins with a light blue painted nosecone. The grenade is stencilled round its circumference in white GR R/F PRAC N MA 54 (1954 date) LOT 1. The steel nosecone retains approximately 90% of its original light blue painted finish. The 6 alloy fins at the base of the grenade are undamaged The grenade is fitted with 6 fins at the rear that are undamaged. INERT DEACTIVATED. American Vietnam War Era, M1 Booby Trap Pressure Firing Fuze With An Adapted Grenade Head By OL. - O 2050 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a Vietnam War Era, American old style WW2 issue M1 booby trap pressure firing fuze complete with its safety pin and original instruction plate which is fitted to a cylindrical fragmentation grenade body which is stamped round the fuze pocket 2 58 OL on its base y. In February 1942, Lt Erhardt of Fort Bodvoir, USA, produced a pressure switch. The switch was a copy of the proven and successful British No.2 pressure mark 1 switch introduced in 1941 and was modified to use the American thread. The M1 fuze switch retains most of its original olive green painted finish and I complete with its original safety pin and attached instruction plate. The fuze switch has an internal thread and is attached to a cylindrical hand grenade which retains its original black painted finish and is stamped 2 58 OL round the fuze pocket. The grenades body has fitted an alloy adaptor with a copper percussion cap in the alloy adaptor. INERT DEACTIVATED. MINT, British, 1972 Dated, Last Production, Quarter Sectioned, Factory Display Dummy, Mills No 36M MK1, Hand Grenade by Royal Ordnance Factory, Patricroft. - O 2047 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a mint quarter sectioned Mills No.36M MK 1, hand grenade made by the Royal Ordnance Factory, Patricroft in 1972, which was the last year the Mills 36M hand grenade was made before it was withdrawn from service by the British Army to be replaced by the L series of grenades. The 36M refers to the pattern of Grenade 36 M, originally 'Mesopotania' and the fact they were waterproofed. The grenade has a cast iron body with a cast alloy primer holder, filling plug and baseplate. The baseplate is stamped No 36M MK1 1972 (1972 date) ROF (P) (Royal Ordnance Factory, Patricroft). The fly off lever is stamped ROF (P) (Royal Ordnance Factory, Patricroft). The grenade retains its original varnished finish to the body and has a 20mm wide yellow ring round its circumference. INERT DEACTIVATED. British, Unfired, 51MM Practice Mortar. - O 2045 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an unfired British 51mm practice mortar round for the 51mm British L10-A1 mortar. This mortar was a replacement for the 2 inch mortor used in World War 2 and was introduced in the late 1980s until replacement in 2007 by the 60mm mortor. This practice mortar is of all aluminum construction and retains much of its original dark green painted body with a light blue flat nose. The top of the body under the blue nose has two 5mm painted bands under it. The alloy fins have a gray anodised finish and the bottom 10mm is painted white. INERT DEACTIVATED. MINT. ‘Royal Ordnance Inert Exhibit’ Unfired British 51MM High Explosive (HE) Mortar. - O 2044 INERT DEACTIVATED. The 51mm mortor replaced the old 2 inch mortar in army service and was used by the British Army from 1980 until about 2007 when it was itself replaced by the 60mm mortor. This is an exhibit from Royal Ordnance that would have been displayed at a trade stand or exhibition and carries a silver label with ROYAL ORDNANCE INERT EXHIBIT printed on it in black attached to the rear near to the fins. This unfired British 51mm high explosive (HE) mortar round was made for the 51mm British L10-A1 mortar. This L1 A1 mortars streamlined steel body retains all of its original dark green finished body and alloy full stabilizing fins. The body of the mortar is stamped RLB (Royal Laboratories) 026 over H. The fins are the later split type are anodised in grey the fins are stamped BN 9 (RoF Blackburn). The mortar is fitted with an inert alloy percussion L127 REP nose fuse and is stamped round its circumference L127 REP . INERT DEACTIVATED. WW1, 1916 Dated, Mills No 5 MK 1, Hand Grenade By Westinghouse Brake Company Limited. - O 2043 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an excellent, original, 1916 dated WW1, Mills No 5 MK I, Hand Grenade made by the Westinghouse Brake Company Limited. The grenade is in excellent condition and the front of the body under the brass filling plug has the number 4 cast into it. . The grenades cast alloy base plug has cast into it No 5 – I W.B (Westinghouse Brake Company Limited) 1916 (1916 date). The grenade is fitted with a brass filling screw and a cast alloy primer holder. INERT. British No.94 Mark 1, Energa DRILL Rifle Grenade. - O 2027 INERT. This is an excellent, original, British Number 94 Mark 1, Energa rifle grenade. These series of grenades were the last of the rifle propelled grenades were fired by a blank cartridge in the rifle. The Energa were replaced by the 84mm Carl Gustav recoilless rifle in the 1970s made This is an excellent condition DRILL No 94 mark 1 rifle grenade and as such was not fired, only being used for instructional use. The alloy rifle grenade is undamaged and retains virtually all of its original white painted finish and is stencilled in black round its circumference GREN RIFLE 94 A.TK MK1 DRILL NOT TO BE FIRED 8-64 (August 1964) and a monogram. The fins are undamaged and have the original cork protector fitted to the base of the fins to stop the grenade from being fitted to the launcher on the rifle. The top of the grenade is fitted with an alloy inert point detonating fuse. The fuse is protected with a black plastic disposable fuse protector. The grenade is fitted with 6 fins at the rear that are undamaged. INERT DEACTIVATED. Original Korean War Era American Pineapple Mk 2 High Explosive Hand Grenade & M1A2 Rifle Grenade Adaptor. - O 2026 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original Korean War Era American Pineapple Mk 2 high explosive hand grenade first adopted in 1918, used throughout the Second World War and later in the Korean War. This hand grenade is complete with its original ADAPTER, GRENADE, PROJECTION, M1A2 GCK-3-1 11-52 (November 1952 date). The M1 series of adapters were solely for the use with the mark 2 pineapple hand grenade. The adaptor with the grenade is fitted onto a M7 spigot adaptor attached to the muzzle of the M1 Garrand rifle using a special blank cartridge. The grenade retains all of its original green painted finish with a ¼ inch wide yellow band next to the fuze assembly. The adaptor has 3 spring claws for holding the grenade and is in mint condition and retains all of its original green painted finish. The adaptor is stencilled in yellow on the side ADAPTER, GRENADE, PROJECTION, M1A2 GCK-3-1 11-52 (November 1952 date). There is no hole drilled in the bottom of the grenade.
