INERT DEACTIVATED. Original Early WW2 American Pineapple Mk 2 High Explosive Hand Grenade. - O 2108 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original early WW2 American Pineapple Mk 2 high explosive hand grenade first adopted in 1918 and used throughout the Second World War. This example has a segmented cast iron body with a letter N cast into the side. This hand grenade retains much of its original yellow painted finish underneath the later olive painted refinish none circa 1942 to old stock grenades. This yellow finish was changed to olive green in 1942 due to the grenade easily being highlighted by the yellow paint. The green blended easier with the green uniform. This grenade is fitted with its M10A2 fuse which is complete with its original fly off lever and safety pin/ring. The grenade has no hole in its base. INERT DEACTIVATED. WW2, 1944 Dated, Mills No 36M MK1, Hand Grenade. - O 2107 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an excellent, WW2, 1944 dated Mills No.36M MK 1, hand grenade. The 36M refers to the pattern of Grenade 36 M originally 'Mesopotania' and the fact they were waterproofed. The cast iron body retains some of its original brown varnished finish with traces of the red (high explosive) and green (amatol) filling marks. The grenade has the makers marks 14 REL (Revo Electric Company, Birmingham) cast into the front. The cast iron base plug is marked NP (National Pump Engineering Works) MK 1 44 (1944 date) The base plug is screwed for a rifle grenade base plate. The grenade is fitted with an alloy filling plug. The 36M refers to the pattern of Grenade 36 M originally 'Mesopotania' and the fact they were waterproofed. INERT DEACTIVATED. WW2, 1943 Dated, Mills No 36M MK1, Hand Grenade. - O 2105 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an excellent, WW2, 1943 dated Mills No.36M MK 1, hand grenade. The 36M refers to the pattern of Grenade 36 M originally 'Mesopotania' and the fact they were waterproofed. The cast iron body retains much of its original brown varnished finish and has the manufacturers letter M cast into the front and a crowfoot between the filing plug and the plunger. The zinc base plug is marked No36 M MK 1 43 (1943 date) Z (zinc) WD over C and the manufacturers monogram of S in a hexagonal lozenge shape. The base plug is screwed for a rifle grenade base plate. The inner primer holder is made of alloy, not having the Z stamp in it for a zinc alloy and has cast into it 1943 (1943 date) 4 Z (zinc) and the manufacturers monogram of S in a hexagonal lozenge shape. This is an inert German WW2 25 x 35R Nebelpatrone Z (smoke without vent) round for the Walther Kampfpistole ("combat pistol"). This round was used in the Kampfpistole which sometimes had a shoulder stock and was a normal Walther flare pistol specially fitted with a rifled barrel to become the Kampfpistole. The round featured a high / low pressure aluminum cartridge case fitted with a percussion primer. The aluminum smoke projectile was pre-rifled to engage in the pistols rifled barre when loaded. The aluminum nose cone is integral with the projectile casing. This is an WW1 French Guiddetti Trench Mortar Grenade which launched from old rifles (The grenade launcher was made with an old rifle 1874 model 'Gras' 11mm with the barrel cut at 10 cm) to quickly equip the poilus with trench artillery, the Guiddetti launcher gave the French army a cheap direct and indirect fire weapon with a range of 40 to 195 meters. The alloy and brass fuze screws into the top of the projectile, its chamber contained 150g of cheddite explosive. DEACTIVATED INERT. Russian WW1, Extremely Rare, M1915 Stender Hand Grenade. - 18210:4 DEACTIVATED INERT. This is an extremely rare and little known WW1 Russian Stender hand grenade which was developed by a Colonel Stender. Colonel Stender is normally known for designing the Russian hexagonal hand grenade. Little is known about the history of this grenade that is constructed of soldered and welded sheet steel. The grenade consists of a hollow cylindrical handle made out of a piece of soldered steel with an overlap joint, which contained the fuse. Soldered to this was a round flange which was soldered to a cylindrical portion again made up from a flat sheet of steel welded to form a tube which held the explosive. The top of the grenade had a pressed steel cap held on by a brass prong. The handle has a pressed steel cap to the bottom with the safety pin with a belt hanging clip attached to it. This is an extremely rare hand grenade to find and the price includes U.K. delivery. Sn. 18210:4 £1,000.00 |

DEACTIVATED INERT. Very Rare WW1 Russian Rdultovsky RG-12 Lantern Type Model 1912 Hand Grenade. - 18210:16 DEACTIVATED INERT. This is a very rare WW1 Russian Rdultovsky RG-12 Lantern Type Model 1912 hand grenade designed prior to the start of WW1. The stick hand grenade consisted of a tin plate and soldered sheet square metal body filled with explosive and a tin plate and soldered sheet metal body attached to a wooden handle with a slide off safety ring protecting the grip safety trigger assembly. INERT DEACTIVATED. Rare WW1 Russian Orlov 'Stick' Grenade. - O 1662 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an extremely rare WW1 Russian grenade designed by Russian Colonel Orlov. The grenade is made of galvanised steel with a soldered construction and measures 2 3/8" across its hexagonal top. The top is fixed in place by 2 copper clips diagonally soldered onto the grenade and put through two diagonally opposed slots in the side of the lid and folder over. The grenade is fused by a length of safety fuse in the top of the protruding 5/8” round copper tube fuse holder in the top of the grenade. The grenade including the wooden 'stick' handle measures 8 1/4" in length. These grenades are rarely seen outside Russia.
