INERT DEACTIVATED, WW2, 1942 Dated German No25B Bomb Fuse And Bakelite Transit Container. - O 1690
INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original German 1942 dated No 25B bomb fuse, safety cap and is complete with its original bakelite transit container. This fuse is an electrical impact fuse. The fuse is mainly of alloy construction with steel screws locating pin. The fuse has two insulated plungers at the top with a screw between them. There are three steel slotted head assembly screws holding the top on and a steel location pin at the side to orient it with the bomb casing. The body has blackened finish and the base is screwed for the gain. The fuse is stamped at the top EIAZ25 (within a circle) B edr (Sachsenwerk Licht u. Kraft AG, Radeberg) 42 (1942 date) waffenampt 57 67e . The alloy press on safety cap has a partly blackened finish and is stamped underneath the paint Kappeu.Dichtungsring vor beladen entfernen. DEACTIVATED INERT. This is a WW1 French Trench Mortar Grenade launched from old rifles (The grenade launcher was made with an old rifle 1874 model 'Gras' 11mm with the barrel cut at 10 cm) to quickly equip the poilus with trench artillery, the Guiddetti launcher gave the French army a cheap direct and indirect fire weapon with a range of 40 to 195 meters. The top fuse would screw out of the chamber which held 150g of cheddite explosive. This example has the corked fuse with brass insert and copper wire still intact. INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an unfired WW2 INERT German Anti-Concrete shell base fuse (BdZf15cmGr19Bd) for the 15Cm s FH18 Field gun. The steel fuse is stamped on its base BdZf15cmGr19Bd RHS 433/39. The alloy circular plate on the base of the fuse is stamped GV KV OV meaning long, short and no delay when setting the fuse delay. The base fuse is screwed into the unfired steel gain which is stamped cyw (Sachsiche Gubstahlwerke) on the base. The first picture shows the fuse unscrewed from the gaine side by side. INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a quarter sectioned unfired British No 208 fuse for the British 3.7 inch anti-aircraft which was the standard heavy anti-aircraft gun used from 1938 throughout WW2. This clockwork fuse superseded the No 199 powder fuse in 1942 with a maximum running time of 43 seconds. A quarter section has been removed from the body of the fuse revealing the clockwork and safety shutter mechanism. This fuse is stamped No.208 MK6/2 struck out and 208 MK8/1 BW53 LOT 90 004919. The main body of the fuse is made of brass. There is a brass screwed locking collar above this securing the alloy portion of the fuse. This fuse is in excellent condition. INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an inert WW2, 1941 dated German clockwork ZZS/60nA mechanical time fuse used by Kriegsmarine in WW2 for use in 88mm, 105mm, 127mm, 170mm and 230mm Illumination rounds. The fuse which is in excellent condition has a steel body which is stamped ZZS/60nA over hhi (Gebr. Thiel-Seebach GmbH, Ruhla / Thringen) 29/ 1941 (date) Waffenampt258 Navy waffemampt mark . The undamaged alloy steel fins are stamped by the manufacturer EEC together with Feb / 42 date (February 1942) and ‘Z’ indicating Zinc components. The lacquered steel body has a nice brown patina on it and is stamped 2” MOR together with 1/42 (Jan 1942 date) and ‘WW’ within diamond cartouche manufacturer mark . INERT DEACTIVATED. This is a British M.2G. fuse Setting Mark 1 gauge in its original factory fitted case used for testing fuse setters used to set fuses on artillery projectiles. The fuse setter is made of machined steel and has two knurled rings on the bottom half. The top of the fuse is graduated S and 0 to 75 with a small vernier setting scale above it. The body is stamped CM.1324A GAGUE TESTING M26 FUSE SETTER 1967 (date) SERIAL No 64/37 and highlighted in black. The green painted mahogany fitted case is stencilled on the lid GAGUE TESTING M.2G FUSE SETTER MK1 CM.140 GA and a crowfoot. The green painted case is made of dovetailed timber with two brass hinges with a steel fastening clasp and is stencilled in white GAUGE TESTING M.2G FUSE SETTER MK1. CM. 140 GA. The inside of the case has a label with instructions for use and felt covered securing wooden pads. INERT British Naval WW2 (1943 Dated) 21 Inch C.C.R.Pistol Mark 1** Fuse For The 21 Inch Torpedo In Original Transit Container. Sn. 15545 - 15545
INERT This is a British naval WW2 (1943 dated) fuse for the 21 inch torpedo used exclusively by the ships and submarines of the Royal Navy. The fuse is made of nickel plated bronze and is contained in its original green painted steel waterproofed transit container. The transit container has four locking toggle clamps and two folding steel carrying handles. The lid has a waterproof rubber seal, which is compressed by the four toggle clamps. The fuse has a curved front with a glass window and a bronze rotary arming vane. The fuse is stamped on the front 21” C.G.R.PISTOL Mk1** MOD1 also POINTER END FLUSH-DETS “OUT” DOWN- DETS “IN” in highlighted in red paint. T.49I.D B.E.5117 10-43 (October 1943 date). Inside the fuse are various gears and electrical connectors with wiring attached. There are two celluloid covers over the interior sides of the fuse. There is also a large 3 inch screwed hole at the rear of the fuse for holding the gain. This impressive fuse measures approximately 11 ½ x 9 ½ x 9 ½ inches. INERT DEACTIVATED British L62 E.I.D. Experimental Nose Fuse. - O 1059
INERT DEACTIVATED British L62E.I.D. nose fuse. This fuse has a 4mm wide painted purple band round the gain part of the fuse, designating the fuse to be of an experimental nature. The steel fuse body has the standard British shell thread and the top of the fuse has a time ring scale from 5 to 82 as well as ‘safe’ engraved on it. Under the time scale is stamped FL 3240 highlighted with green paint. The top of the fuse rotates to set the time. At the very top of the fuse is a white plastic cap reminiscent of a ‘VT’ – Proximity fuse and painted in red under the white cap is L3/ V.T.636-B.14. Under this in yellow paint is painted L62 E.I.D. followed in red painting W/S 52-86 . When the black bakelite transit plug is taken off the bottom of the fuse, there is revealed a clockwork time mechanism which is stamped FL 62 LOT 3240 .
