INERT DEACTIVATED, WW2, 1942 Dated German No28A Bomb Fuse And Bakelite Transit Container. - O 1691 INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original German 1942 dated No 28A bomb fuse, safety cap and is complete with its original bakelite transit container. This fuse is an electrical impact fuse. The fuse is mainly of alloy construction with steel screws locating pin. The fuse has two insulated plungers at the top. There are three steel slotted head assembly screws holding the top on and a steel location pin at the side to orient it with the bomb casing. The body retains some of its original blackened finish and the base is screwed for the gain. The fuse is stamped at the top EIAZ 28 (within a circle) A cpp (Rheinmetall-Borsig AG, Breslau plant) 1942 (1942 date) 1b waffenampt 123 . The alloy press on safety cap is stamped Kappeu.Dichtungsring vor beladen entfernen.
