INTER WAR, 1922 Dated Royal Ulster Constabulary (RIC) Mounted Constabulary / Infantry Rifles 50 Round (5 x 10 Round Pouches) Dark Brown / Black Leather .303 Calibre Ammunition Bandolier By Barrow Hepburn & Co Ltd London. Sn 15597 - 15597
The armed Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) was Ireland's major police force from the early nineteenth century until the partition of Ireland in 1922. The loyalty of the Irish Constabulary during the outbreak of the 1867 'Republican Rising' was rewarded by Queen Victoria who granted the force the prefix 'Royal' in 1867. This original ammunition bandolier is made of Very dark Brown / Black leather. This colour of Bandolier formed part of the mounted RIC uniform & equipment. The bandolier has the correct 5 individual ammunition carrier pouches with full flap covers capable of carrying 50x .303 calibre rounds in total (10 in each pouch). Each carrier has heavy rivets and stitching together with a single brass stud to secure the flap covers and an inner strap on each pouch. The bandolier is fitted with its original heavy duty brass buckles and has an additional original belt stap with eyelets and brass stud to attach to waist belt. The leather is impressed with 1922 date together with manufacturer detail Barrow Hepburn & Co Ltd London (illustrated inset in image 1). All leather rivets and stitching are present & intact. WW1 1915 Imperial German Officer's Brown Leather Holster For Luger PO8 9mm Parabellum Pistols By J. Claus Berlin. Sn 15283 - 15283
This an original WW1 dated German Officer's Leather Holster for Luger 9mm Parabellum Pistols. The holster is buckle fastening and has an integral leather pouch with stud fastener sewn into the inside of its lid, for a Luger pistol stripping tool and an open top magazine pouch on it's right hand aspect which is covered by the lid when closed. It has the correct 'quick draw’ strap with leather toggle. The Holster has 2 belt loops to the rear secured by reinforced stitching. The inside of the lid is crisply has very faint date and manufacturer marks which appear to be ‘J. Claus Berlin 1915'. The leather is supple and has areas of light surface wear but all stitching, straps and buckle are clean & functional. Price includes UK delivery. Sn 15283

WW2 1941 British Officer's Sam Browne Belt, Holster For The Webley Service Revolver and Shoulder Strap. Sn 14140 - 14140
A WW2 1941 British Officer's Sam Browne belt, Webley Service holster and shoulder strap, all in excellent condition. The belt is in excellent condition and is supple and has a very nice patina. It retains all of the brass loops and equipment hook. It also has the leather belt keeper. It measures 45" when laid out flat. The holster is for the .45 Webley service revolver and is complete with a brass cleaning rod. The holster is stamped under the flap with "2 92 1941 CB 81" and the War Department 'Broad Arrow'. The holster is dark brown leather, it has a nice patina. It has a fold over flap which has a brass 'button' attached, a leather strap, stitched to the rear folds forward and over the 'button'. On the rear it has a leather belt loop for attaching to the Sam Browne Equipment Belt. All of the stitching on the holster is secure and in good condition. The shoulder strap secures through two brass belt loops on the belt. It retains all of the brass buckles and brass 'buttons'. The belt, holster and shoulder strap are all in matching brown leather, all have a very nice patina and the stitching on all three items is present and secure. A very nice set. This is an excellent WW1 1917 dated U.S. Army Model 1897 Colt .38" revolver holster. It has a single broad retaining flap with single brass stud fastener. The front of the holster is stamped with the U.S. Army 'U.S. Roundel'. The rear of the holster features a broad 5" belt loop large enough to slide onto the cartridge belt of the day. (see Page 196 of Doughboy to G.I. by Lewis). The belt loop is nicely stamped "G & K 1917 A.G.". All leather and stitching of the holster is intact. VERY RARE,Original Victorian English Saddleworth Rifle Volunteer Corps Officers Morocco Leather Dress Sword Belt With 2 Piece Brass Saddleworth RVC Buckle & Sword Hanging Straps With Brass Fittings. L 373 - L 373
Saddleworth is a civil parish of the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham in the now Greater Manchester. An invasion scare in 1859 led to the creation of the Volunteer Force and huge enthusiasm for joining local Rifle Volunteer Corps (RVCs). This is an original Victorian Saddleworth Rifle Volunteers Officer’s Dress Sword Belt black Morocco leather three section belt joined by brass rings. It has a darkened brass two piece belt buckle with ornate shoulders. Circlet inscribed “Saddleworth. God and Fatherland” and central strung bugle horn. It is complete with two black Morocco leather sword hanging straps complete with brass buckles and lower sprung securing clips. 1936 German Military Leather Cavalry Saddle. L 158 - L 158
A superb Nazi German brown leather Military cavalry and officers saddle. In superb condition it has an intact "tree" underneath and is intended for a large horse of 18-20 hands. It is stamped in the leather, Prost & Jainel, Breslau, 1936". It is also waffenamped and has a '3' stamped in its size possibly. It is of such quality and condition that it could quite easily be used for riding today. A modern comparable saddle would cost over £1000 to buy. Price includes UK delivery. L 158
