Original WW2 1930 Dated USAAF Other Ranks Peaked Cap Size 7 5/8". Sn 13260 - 13260
An original WW2 1930 dated USAAF Other Ranks peaked cap size 7 5/8". It is made from a fine khaki material and is in very good clean condition. It has a stiffened crown and body. It has a brown leather peak and chinstrap secured by gilt USAAF eagle buttons either side. On the front it has an original gilt American Eagle disc badge secured on the inside with a brass screw disc. Inside it is lined with a fine tan cotton lining. The cap has a brown leather sweatband with a size label "7 5/8". Inside the sweatband it is stamped with the date “Nov 5th 1930” “Phila Depot. BF. Brown”. A Belgian NCO's Gendarme Parade Kepi From The Era of King Baudouin, Size 57 1/2cm. Sn 12438 - 12438
This is an early Belgian Gendarmerie Parade Kepi for Warrant Officer (NCO) ranks of the National Police (Rijkswacht) which was part of the Belgian Army. The kepi is in good condition and free of any damage. It has a black peak with a silver bullion braided and knotted cord chin strap. Secured with a metal gilt button on either side. The kepi has a black head band. To the front it has a metal gilt button with a loop of braided silver bullion cord similar to the chin strap looped up to a cockade in silver bullion cord with a Kings Crown and the letter 'B', the letter B stands for the late King Baudouin. The sides and top are in very good undamaged condition, piped in silver round the top and above the head band and up the sides on each side. Inside it has a grey leather headband with a cloth lining. There is a makers label inside "'Labor Van Poucke Kerkistraat 22" and a small size label "57 1/2". This is a very nice example. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 12438

Early Belgian Gendarmerie Warrant Officer's Kepi. Sn 12437 - 12437
This is an early Belgian Gendarmerie Kepi for Warrant Officer (NCO) ranks of the National Police (Rijkswacht) which was part of the Belgian Army. The kepi is in good condition and free of any damage. It has a black peak with a braided and knotted cord chin strap with a black 'dash' pattern. Secured with a metal 'Exploding Grenade' button on either side. The kepi has a white head band which also has a black 'dash' decoration. To the front it has a metal 'Exploding Grenade' button with a loop of braided cord similar to the chin strap looped up to a cockade in red, white and black. The sides and top are in very good undamaged condition, piped in red round the top and above the head band and up the sides on each side. Inside it has a tan leather headband with a cloth lining. There are three numbers inside along with a name, two crossed out, the uncrossed one is "V.R 24769". It measures 160mm across from side to side and 190mm from front to back. WW2 1945 WD Scottish, Glasgow Highlanders Volunteers (Highland Light Infantry City Of Glasgow Regiment) Tam O Shanter Bonnet By S&P Harris Ltd Glasgow With Large Regiment Cap Badge. Sn 12434 - 12434
The Glasgow Highlanders was a former Infantry Regiment of the British Army, part of the Territorial Force, later renamed the Territorial Army. The Regiment eventually became a Volunteer Battalion of the Highland Light Infantry (City of Glasgow Regiment) in 1881. The Regiment based its cap badge upon that of the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment). The Regiment saw active service in both World War I and World War II. Elements of the Glasgow Highlanders fought at Normandy. This is an excellent original WW2 Tam O Shanter to the Glasgow Highlanders. Its khaki serge material is clean. It has the correct cotton adjustment cord and bears it's large metal Glasgow Highlanders badge. The top of the Tam O Shanter has a brown wool bobble. This RAF Nursing Officer’s hat is clean and undamaged. The lightweight felt tricorn form hat has its original cloth headband with cord and felt patch mounted with post 1952 gilt metal winged RAF badge and embroidered bullion and red felt Queens crown and bullion wreath. It has a scarlet crown and body with lower blue band and blue braid crown Austrian knots and button. The hat is mounted with its original Queen Victoria Crown bullion embroidery Royal Fusiliers badge and has a thin cord chin strap. It has a tan quilted silk sweatband and crown with gilt manufacturer mark ‘A.J. White London 74 Jermyn Street St James London SW’ together with Royal appointment ‘Hatter To The Royal Family’ & heraldic arms. This is an excellent original War Dept marked, WW2 dated Gurkha Uniform pill box hat. The hat, which has a thin leather chin strap, is good quality, 8 inches in diameter at its widest point and 4 inches high with central wool bobble at the crown. It is dark Navy blue with red piping. The Royal Flying Corps (RFC) was the air arm of the British Army before and during the First World War, until it merged with the Royal Naval Air Service on 1 April 1918 to form the Royal Air Force. This is an excellent original British Royal Flying Corps (RFC) Pilot’s side cap. Made of cotton it has a quilted lining and embossed brass Kings crown heraldic arms buttons. It has its original large WW1 Era 'King's Crown RFC' brass cap badge. The cap including its lining has some service wear and stains consistent with age. The cap is approx UK size 6. Mint Unissued Condition Scots Guards Piper’s Glengarry Mounted With Blackcock Hackle & Piper’s Regimental Badge. Sn 11516 - 11516
The Scots Guards, part of the British Guards Division, is one of the Foot Guards Regiments of the British Army. Their origins lie in the personal bodyguard of King Charles I of England and Scotland. Its lineage can be traced as far back as 1642 since which time it has served with distinction in all conflicts involving British Forces. This is a mint unissued Scots Guards Piper’s Glengarry. It is fully lined with black material and has correct black ribbon tassels and red pom-pom. Its original Metal Glengarry Scots Guards Regimental Pipers badge is mounted on a bed of black ribbon. The rear of the badge has the correct 2 mounting lugs and split pin. Its black and white Blackcock hackle is in the same mint condition. It is approx. UK size 6 ½. WW2 1942 Canadian Scottish, Lorne Scots Regiment Tam O Shanter Bonnet War Dept Marked By BMC Cap Manufacturing Co Canada With Large Regiment Cap Badge. Sn 11013:1 - 11013:1
The Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment) is a Primary Reserve infantry Regiment of the Canadian Army. It is part of the 4th Canadian Division's 32 Canadian Brigade Group. During WW2 the Regiment provided personnel and reinforcements for all defence requirements of The Canadian Army. As a result, numerous Lorne Scots defence units served in the Mediterranean, & North-West Europe. This is an excellent original WW2 Tam O Shanter to the Canadian Scottish. It's khaki serge material is clean with no damage or mothing. It has the correct cotton adjustment cord and bears it's large metal Lorne Scots badge with Scottish Lion, King's Crown Thistles and Banners with Regiment name mounted on a field of red cloth. The rear of the badge has the correct lug mounts and split pin. The top of the Tam O Shanter has a brown wool bobble.
