Post 1975 Italian Investarm 20 Bore 3” Magnum, Double Barrel Over & Under Shotgun Wall Hanger**UK 1995 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn 10488 - 10488 Founded in 1975 by the three Italian Salvinelli brothers, Investarm can boast years of experience in the manufacture of hunting guns. This a double barrel Magnum shotgun by Investarm. It has undamaged wood furniture with finely stippled wrist and fore stock panels & rubber recoil pad. The shotgun has double 25” blued steel barrels set over & under with centre rib and double triggers. It measures 42” overall. It’s plain ribbed ‘hard chrome’ action is marked ‘Investarm’ together with trademark and Magnum. The gun has a brass bead fore sight. The top barrel rib has a small insert / hole indicating that at some point in its life this gun was set up for ‘Laser’ clay pigeon shooting. The barrel is marked ’20 Gauge 3” Magnum’ and ‘Hard Chrome Made In Italy’. The gun is serial number 414924. Deactivated to UK specification in 1995 the gun’s triggers and top lever move but it does not break open. Early 20th Century, C. G. Bartley, London. 12 Bore Double Barrel Side By Side, Side Lock Hammer Sporting Shotgun With Rebounding Hammers. **1989 UK DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**. Sn - 14330 This is a double barrel hammer sporting shotgun by C. G. Bartley of London made sometime in the early 20th Century. The shotgun has 30” steel barrels with a total length of 46 inches. The barrels, set side by side have a central top barrel rib which is engraved C. G. Bartley London together with a bead foresight. The gun has its original walnut stock with a pistol grip and has just the bumps and bruises to be expected with age. The shotgun has double triggers and both the wrist & fore stock have chequered panels. The sidelocks are engraved with rising birds. The gun is deactivated to UK / EU specification the weapon’s top lever break action opens the breech and its safety catch slides. Singer (William Singer Warminster Wiltshire) 12 Bore, Double Barrel Side By Side Under Lever Break Action, Breech Loading Hammer Shotgun**2024 UK/EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn 21470 - 21470 This is a Victorian double barrel breech loading, break action shotgun by W. Singer (most likely William Singer, Warminster, Wiltshire recorded as working 1841-1859, see page 103 of English Gunmakers by Bailey & Nie). It’s original wood furniture has just light bumps and bruises to be expected with age and use. The shotgun has double 30” steel barrels set side by side with centre rib, bead fore sight, double hammers and double triggers. The action has foliate decoration and is signed by the maker ‘W. Singer’ on the left and right sides. The gun is serial number 2946. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2024 the weapon breaks open & its triggers and hammers move. Scottish Alexander Martin Of Glasgow Edinburgh Aberdeen & Stirling 12 Bore Double Barrel Side By Side Hammerless Box Lock Breech Loading Top Lever Break Action Sporting Shotgun**UK/EU 2024 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**Sn 21467 - 21467 Alexander Martin (established 1778) was a Scottish gunmaker with various addresses in, Glasgow Edinburgh Aberdeen & Stirling. The Company traded until 1988 when it was taken over by John Dickson & Sons (see pages 281-282 of British Gunmakers Vol.2 by Brown. This double barrel hammerless sporting shotgun by Alexander Martin has 26” blued steel barrels. The barrels, set side by side have a central flat top barrel rib and bead foresight. The rib is signed by the maker ‘Alexander Martin Glasgow Edinburgh Aberdeen & Stirling’. The action has Foliate edged panels with the makers name ‘A. Martin’. QUALITY**SHORT PRODUCTION PERIOD**1892-93 Thomas Turner 172 New Bond Street London 12 Bore Double Damascus Barrels Side By Side Hammerless Box Lock Breech Loading Top Lever Break Action Sporting Shotgun. **UK/EU 2024 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** D 6007 - D 6007 Thomas Turner was an English gunmaker working in London, recorded as having premises at 19 Brook Street 1884-91 & 172 New Bond Street for just 1 year 1892-93 (see page 209 of British Gunmakers Vol.1 by Brown). This is a quality made sporting shotgun by Thomas Turner made at his New Bond Street premises 1892-93. It has 27” Damascus steel barrels. The barrels, set side by side have a central flat top barrel rib and bead foresight. The rib is signed by the maker ‘Thomas Turner 172 New Bond Street London. It has its original walnut stock in excellent condition with ribbed butt and double triggers. The wrist & fore stock have chequered panels and the underside of the stock has an inlaid void escutcheon. The action has quality tooled decoration. The action in front of the top lever is signed 'Thomas Turner'. The shotgun is number 5872. Early 20th Century, Charles Osborne & Co London 12 Bore Double Barrel Side By Side Hammer Breech Loading Top Lever Break Action Sporting Shotgun. **EARLY UK/EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** D 6006 - D 6006 Charles Osborne commenced trading under his own name C1845 in Lichfield Street, Birmingham but by 1855 he was in Whittall Street, Birmingham where he maintained premises right up until 1928 when the business was acquired by Skimin & Wood, a highly respected gunmaker to the trade. Osborne first opened for business in London in 1881 in the vicinity of Houses of Parliament in 1885 where he stayed until the business left London in 1928. Charles Osborne became a Limited company in 1896. This is a double barrel hammer sporting shotgun by Charles Osborne & Co made sometime in the early 20th Century. It has 30” blued steel barrels. The barrels, set side by side have a central flat top barrel rib and brass bead foresight. The rib is signed ‘Chas Osborne & Co London’. It has its original walnut stock which has just light, bumps and bruises to be expected with age and use, double hammers and double triggers. The wrist & fore stock have chequered panels and the underside of the stock has an inlaid escutcheon. The action is signed by the maker ‘Chas Osborne & Co’ on the left & right sides amongst foliate decoration. The shotgun is number 76862. It has undamaged wood furniture with finely chequered wrist and fore stock. The shotgun has double 28” blued steel barrels set side by side with centre rib and double triggers. It measures 45 ½” overall. It has a colour case hardened action. The barrel is manufacturer marked ‘AYA Aguirre & Aranzabal’. The break action and safety catch work as they should.
