French Indo China/ Vietnam War Era, 1955 Dated, PPS-43, Chinese Type 54, (Russian PPS-43 Variant), 7.62mm Calibre Sub Machine Gun With Chinese Markings & Folding Stock. **EARLY UK 1990 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** - D 1557
The Russian PPS-43 was designed and manufactured inside Leningrad during the WW2 900 day siege. The weapon was designed to be made on existing machinery using existing materials. After WW2 the weapons were manufactured by the Chinese and designated PPS-43 Type 54. The type-54 weapons were used by the North Korean and Chinese Armies. This is an excellent PPS-43 SMG. It's metal work is undamaged and excellent throughout. The top of the breech is stamped with Chinese script and number 3254871 together with the date of manufacture 1955. The gun is complete with its original folding skeleton stock, curved box magazine, undamaged composite grips and fixed sling rings. The weapon cocks and dry fires, the safety catch works and the magazine can be removed. The gun comes with three magazines in their original carrying pouch. The weapon was deactivated in 1990 and the price includes the deactivation certificate and U.K. delivery. D 1557

Cold War 1952 Dated Soviet Russian Armoury Plant Number 6 PPS-43 7.62mm Calibre Sub Machine Gun With Folding Skeleton Stock & Sling **EARLY UK 1995 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**Sn 21994:7 - 21994:7
The PPS (Pistolet-Pulemyot Sudayeva"), is a family of Soviet submachine guns chambered in 7.62×25mm Tokarev, developed by Alexei Sudayev as a low-cost personal defence weapon for reconnaissance units, vehicle crews and support service personnel. The PPS and its variants were used extensively by the Red Army during World War II and were later adopted by the armed forces of several countries of the former Warsaw Pact as well as its many African and Asian allies. This is an excellent Cold War dated Soviet example. Its metal work is undamaged and excellent throughout with all original blue finish. The top of the breech is stamped with number 6 within circle (Soviet Block Factory Plant number 6) together with 1952 date and serial number BM15770. It is complete with its original folding skeleton stock, curved box magazine which has a struck out number, stamped number 06252 and etched number 03195. It has undamaged composite grips and fixed sling bars fitted with original webbing & leather sling. **RARE**WW1 1914 French Patent Paris Made Trench Warfare Mirror Observation Attachment For British Pattern 1907 SMLE Rifle Bayonets. Sn 21954 - 21954
This is a rare to find WW1 1914 French Patent Paris Made Trench Warfare Mirror Attachment For British SMLE Rifle Bayonets (illustrated in image 1 is a period image of one of these devices in use attached to a British Sgts SMLE rifle). The steel cased mirror 3 ¾” x 1 ¾”x 8mm when closed. The hinged case has a clip attachment to the rear which neatly slides onto the tip of a British Pattern 1907 bayonet. The clip is hinged for adjustment. The front of the case has what looks like an indistinct French makers name and ‘Paris Brevete SGDG’. The case opens to reveal a small mirror which is clean and undamaged and original illustrated instructions for use label. The label has service wear to the edges. The label has French 1914 copyright detail. The price for this rare trench warfare piece includes UK delivery. American M1 Carbine Blank Firing Attachment. - MISC 1018
This is an American M1 Carbine blank firing attachment that attaches to the front of the muzzle and clips round the fore sight wings to enable the weapon to fire blank cartridges and cycle the action automatically. The attachment has a spring loaded clip that locks it to the foresight so it does not vibrate off in use. The attachment has a blued finish with a red painted band that goes behind the foresight and has 4 small vent holes in the front to give pressure in the barrel to cycle the self loading mechanism. The adaptor is stamped on the side BMVtdg over 186. The price includes U.K. delivery and no licence is needed to possess the attachment. This is an excellent Nazi German Portuguese contract rifle. The receiver has the crest of Portugal and manufacture date which appears to be ‘44’ (1944). It has an adjustable rear sight, shrouded fore sight, bayonet slide and steel butt plate. The breech, bolt and wood have matching numbers ‘7307’. It also has other un-matching numbers. It has all original woodwork which has just light bumps and bruises to be expected with age and service use. The rifle has its original cleaning rod. Deactivated to UK/EU specification the weapons magazine can be removed, its bolt and trigger move, but the firing mechanism has been disconnected internally so it does not cock and dry fire. WWI 1917 Dated & WW2 Italian, Carcano Model 1891 (M91) Terni Arsenal Bolt Action Rifle. Sn 11393. - 11393
Carcano is the frequently used name for a series of Italian bolt-action military rifles and carbines. Introduced in 1891. The rifle chambered for the rimless 6.5×52mm Mannlicher-Carcano cartridge was developed by the chief technician Salvatore Carcano at the Turin Army Arsenal in 1890 and designated the Model 91 (M91). Successively replacing the previous Vetterli-Vitali rifles and carbines in 10.35×47mmR, it was produced from 1892 to 1945. The Carcano M1891 rifle gave excellent service throughout the First Word War where Italy participated on the Allied side, fighting mainly against Austria. The reliability of the weapon convinced Fascist Italy to re commence manufacturing the Infantry rifle during WW2. This is an excellent original example of the M1891 Rifle. Its wood stock and metal are all original. It is equipped with swivels, bayonet lug and steel butt plate. The breech is stamped 'Terni' (Arsenal) and dated '17' (1917). These are the m/94 (Model 1894) carbine, m/96 (Model 1896) long rifle, m/38 (Model 1938) short rifle and m/41 (Model 1941) sniper rifle. In 1898 production began at Carl Gustafs stads Gevärsfaktori in Eskilstuna, Sweden. This is an original Model 1896 (M96) bolt-action infantry rifle; it has all original woodwork and metal and has forward and rear sling swivels fitted. It has a steel butt plate, block & blade fore sight and adjustable ladder rear sight. It has all matching numbers '20221/221' on the breech, magazine plate, butt plate & bolt. The breech is stamped with the manufacturer's detail 'Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf’ and '1899' date together with a series of numbers (illustrated). The bayonet Mod. 1896 is in excellent condition along with its scabbard is included in the price. Deactivated to early UK specification in 1992 the rifle cocks and dry fires crisply. Italian Made American Civil War Era Colt Model 1855 .36 Calibre Side hammer Pocket Revolver. **UK 2024 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** 21978:5. - 21978:5
The Colt Model 1855 Side hammer, also known as the Colt Root Revolver after engineer Elisha K. Root (1808–1865), is a cap & ball single-action pocket revolver used during the American Civil War. The Model 1855 or “Side hammer” family of firearms represented several firsts for the Colt Company in terms of design features, and many of features are found only on M-1855 models. The two most obvious features are the solid frame with a top strap and the side-mounted hammer. who was Colt’s factory foreman and general superintendent. At that time, the Root revolver was Colt's only percussion handgun built on the solid frame principle and featured a side-hammer, mounted on the right side of the frame, a spur trigger, a cylinder pin entering from the rear and one-piece grips secured to the back-strap. The Root revolver has a sheathed trigger. Revolvers made to Colt's Patents live on today in the form of quality firearms produced by Italian firearms manufacturers. This pocket example of Colt's Root side hammer black powder pistol is 7 ¾” overall with a 3 ½” barrel. The blueing on this example is very good *feint scratch to the side of the barrel*. The serial No-042070 along with .36 Cal and BLACK POWDER ONLY are etched to the left-hand side of the barrel. The underside of the barrel is etched with the maker- BP Palmetto. The pistol has a small brass blade fore sight. It has its original American Walnut grips which are in good condition with a few of minor age-related marks. The 2 stage barrel is stamped with number ‘042070’ and Italian proofs (illustrated). Deactivated to UK specification initially in 2007 the revolver has an open barrel and shallow blocked cylinders, it cocks and dry fires & the loading lever operates correctly. The cylinder has original etched cylinder scene panels featuring Naval Battle Scenes and engraved ‘engaged 16 May 1843’. The cylinder is stamped ‘Patent N’. The pistol's steel frame, barrel block & trigger guard assembly are stamped with matching serial numbers '12326'. The barrel is stamped ‘CAL .36 NAVY MODEL- MADE IN ITALY & C.0.M- GARDONE-VT (GARDONE VAL TROMPIA, Italy, tucked away in a picturesque valley in the Italian Alps is the birthplace of most of Europe's small firearms) The pistol has a small brass blade fore sight and ‘v’ notch hammer rear sight. This is an original steel silencer for the Heckler & Koch MP5 sub-machine gun (The Heckler & Koch MP5 (German: Maschinenpistole 5) is a submachine gun developed in the 1960s by German firearms manufacturer Heckler & Koch. It uses a similar modular design to the Heckler & Koch G3. In 1980, the MP5 achieved an iconic status during the Iranian Embassy siege, when British Army Special Air Service operatives used MP5s with top-mounted flashlights to assault the embassy and rescue the hostages held inside.. The silencer is 30cm long with an outside diameter of 4cm. The silencer is made from steel tubing with a threaded portion which screws into the MP5’s barrel with four vents to one side.
