WW2 American U.S. Navy MK I Utility Knife and Scabbard. ED 2033 - ED 2033
This is an American U.S. Navy utility knife from WW2. It is marked on the ricasso with "U.S.N." on one side and "Camillus N.Y." on the other. The grip is the usual compressed leather washers but the original owner has customised it for a better grip. The blade is blued and in excellent condition. The scabbard is the standard leather one with all stitching intact and a press stud which works as it should. The original owner has scored "A Elpern" on the reverse. It is stamped on the front with "U.S.N.". The price includes UK delivery. ED 2033

WW1 U.S. Fighting/ Trench Combat Knife By Case Cutlery Co & Leather Scabbard. Sn 12456 - 12456
The Case Cutlery Company USA made stiletto type fighting knives during WW1. They were often privately purchased by American soldiers (see page 63 plate 296 of Fighting Knives by Stephens). This is an original Case Cutlery fighting knife and scabbard. The knife has a single edge 6 ¼” blade, with an overall length of 10 ¼”. The original grips are wood secured by 3 rivets. The ricasso is stamped by the manufacturer ‘Case’. It is complete with its original riveted and stitched brown leather scabbard with integral belt loop and retaining strap with press stud fastener. EXTREMELY RARE, ORIGINAL, Sterile WW2 U.S. Office Of Strategic Command (O.S.S. Special Forces) Fighting Machete & Original Leather Scabbard With Integral Frog. Sn 12390 - 12390
This is an original WW2 American OSS fighting machete with its original correct scabbard (see page 116, plates 585, 586 & 587 of Fighting Knives by Stephens). This example is excellent and undamaged. It has the correct Burmese Dahl form, 16 ¾” long, single edged blade with heavy double edged tip constructed so that the weight is at the tip- effective in strengthening the slashing stroke of the weapon. The blade is clean and retains its original parkerised type finish. The hilt is cast from a black synthetic material and has the correct chequered panels and hole for wrist strap. The machete measures 22 ½” overall length. Its original scabbard is the correct thick tan leather with heavy duty stitching and integral belt loop. As is usual with special forces equipment, both the machete and scabbard are sterile having no manufacturer, Unit or War Dept marks. All leather & stitching of the scabbard are intact. WW2 U.S Cattaraugus 225Q ' Quartermasters' Fighting Utility Knife And Sheath. ED 2393 - ED 2393
During WW2 Quartermaster staff needed a heavy duty combat knife which was strong enough to open ammunition boxes and crates. The American Company Cattaraugus produced the 225Q (Q for Quartermaster), which because of their strength, soon found their way into regular service as a combat knife ( see page 67 Of U.S Military Knives By Cole & page 123 of US Military Knives Collectors Guide By Silvey & Boyd). This is a nice original example. It has a sturdy, broad single edged fullered 6 1/4" blade (10 ½” inches overall). The ricasso is crisply engraved with the 'Cattaraugus' signature legend and designation '225Q'. The blade has some areas of staining consistent with age. Its banded handle made from compressed leather washers is in good condition with just service wear to be expected. It has a steel finger guard and large oval steel pommel with flat chequered end. The knife is complete with original leather sheath with stud fastening retaining strap which functions perfectly and integral belt loop. Price includes UK delivery. ED 2393

An original U.S. Kinfolk's made Fighting utility Knife. These knives were the 1930-1940 forerunner of the MK 1 USN (United States Navy) fighting knife ( see pages 166-167 of Knives Of The United States Military WW2). It has a clean 5" single edged clip point blade with fuller & measures 9 1/2" overall. It's compressed leather washer handle is undamaged. The ricasso is crisply marked 'Kinfolk's Inc'. The knife is complete with original leather scabbard with large belt loop and single retaining strap with press stud fastener. The compressed leather ringed handle and blade are undamaged. The top of the pommel has the 'ignited grenade' Frankford Arsenal mark. The pommel is double pinned. The knife is complete with original green plastic M8 scabbard with integral green webbing frog which has a single retaining strap and press stud fastener. The upper mount of the scabbard is stamped 'USM8' & by the manufacturer 'BM Co'. The scabbard is fitted with it's original leather thigh cord which has never been uncoiled. An American Post WW2 private purchase Military Fighting Knife. (see page 120 item 609 of Fighting Knives By Stephens). This knife by an unknown manufacturerer has black synthetic grips secured to the tang by 3 rivets. The ferrule and cross guard are made of brass. This rugged knife has a 6" Bowie type blade which is clean and 1 1/2" wide. It measures 12" overall and is complete with a later proffesionally made scabbard made of thick black leather. An Original WW2 American Cattaraugus Commando Fighting Knife Pattern 225G and Brown leather scabbard. This knife was described by Cattaraugus in their advertisements as a commando knife. It measure 10 1/2" overall with a 6" single edged polished blade. It has a leather washer grip, the butt is made up of three steel washers and has a chequered top. The blade ricasso is stamped with "Cattaraugus 225Q" The scabbard is brown leather and is folded over to form a belt loop. It has a leather retaining loop secured with a press stud. The scabbard is stitched and has 8 small rivets along the stitched line as reinforcement. The price includes Uk delivery.

This is one of the rarest of the WW II American Combat knives. The aluminium pommel variation was made by the PAL blade company. This MK 2 example has the correct marking ' RH (PAL) 36' which is Remington Hunting, 3rd Type, 6 inch blade and 'Made in USA' on the ricasso (illustrated). This is an excellent original example. It has a 6" fullered single edged blade with a smooth handle 5" handle made from compressed leathwer washers.
