American M9 Bayonet and Scabbard. ED 2533. - ED 2533 This is a later version of the M9 bayonet, possibly made by ‘Ontario Knife Company’ and marked to the blade ‘MK100163’. It carries no other markings to the scabbard, but is of top quality and not a modern reproduction. It has a parkerised Bowie blade with saw back and wire cutting facility. The scabbard is plastic with webbing and a steel tip with a steel tip with wire cutting stud and screwdriver facility. The rear carries a spare sharpening stone and the front has a magazine pouch for the 9mm Beretta. A nice later M9 bayonet set. The price includes U.K. delivery. ED 2533 £395.00 |

WW2 Era U.S.N. Marl 1 Fighting Knife and U.S.N. Mk1 Plastic Scabbard. ED 2564. - ED 2564 This is a very nice early Unitaed States Navy (U.S.N.) Mk1 knife made by Pal Blade Co. It is marked to the blade with U.S.N. Mk1 on one side and R.H. Pal 35 to the other side. It has a parkerised blade with a leather handle with black yellow and red spacers and a dull aluminium butt. See U.S. Military Knives by M.H.Cole item 23, page 81 for the identical knife. It is contained in its grey plastic scabbard marked to the front with U.S.N. Mk1 and to the rear with Nord – 8114 over B.M.Co 1/1 V.P. Markings highlighted with chalk which can be wiped. U.S. Post War Ka-Bar Fighting Knife & Scabbard - ED 2550 This is a nice Ka-Bar knife as used in Korea and Vietnam. The knife is marked to the Ricasso with U.S. over CAMILLUS. This is the second pattern knife which was re-designed by Camillus and instead of the blade having a threaded nut in the pommel, this version has the later oblong tang with a steel pin to hold it. The grips are the standard compressed leather washers. The leather scabbard has all of its stitching intact. This is a nice Korea/Vietnam American fighting knife. The price includes U.K. delivery. American WW2 Mark 1 Fighting Knife And Scabbard. ED 2519 - ED 2519 This is an American WW2 Mark 1 fighting knife made by PAL. The ricasso is marked R H PAL within a circle 36 and MADE IN U.S.A. The blade is 6 inch fullered to both sides with a single edge and a short top edge. The crossguard is made of steel and the grip is made of leather washers with brown plastic spacers at the top and bottom. The pommel is made of aluminium with a crossed steel pin holding the blade to the grip. The scabbard is of brown leather, stitched and riveted with a press stud fastener. WW2 US Army Airforce Cattaraugus Folding Survival / Fighting Machete & Original Tin Plate Blade Guard. Sn 15834 - 15834 This is an original American made folding machete / fighting knife by Cattaraugus. The U.S Army, folding survival machete was introduced in 1942 issued to U.S Air crew and originally carried folded in the seat pack attached to parachutes (see page 115 plates 579 & 580 of Stephens book ‘Fighting Knives’). Our example has its original tin plate blade cover which are often missing from these machetes. The machete measures 15 ½” extended & 11 ¼” folded. The 10” blade has some staining consistent with age & service use. The blade is marked by the American manufacturer "Cattaraugus USA". It's original riveted black slab grips are secure & undamaged. Post 1963 Boxed, Limited Edition No.772 Of 1500 Buck Custom Knife USA Model 110 Folding Hunter Lock Knife With Etched Blade, Original Wood Buck Display Stand & Care Instruction Pamphlet . Sn 15372:12 - 15372:12 The American Company, Buck Knives was founded in San Diego, California in the early 1900's and is now located in Post Falls, Idaho. The company has a long history through five generations of the Buck family. Buck created their model 110 folding hunter in 1963 when Al Buck decided that a revolutionary lock blade knife was needed by outdoorsmen who wanted a sturdy knife but did not want to carry a long, fixed blade knife. This is an excellent limited edition Buck 110 folding hunter Custom Knife With Original Display Stand, Box and Paperwork. The folding lock knife has a 4” drop point blade. One side of the polished steel blade has a finger groove and is etched with the scene of ‘H.H. Buck’s original business premises and banner with ‘HH Buck’ emblazoned in gilt. The ricasso is marked ‘Buck 110 USA'. The reverse is numbered ‘0772 / 1500’. The knife’s undamaged American Walnut scales are secured by brass and steel pins. The knife has a brass grip frame. Opened the knife measures 9” overall length. The blade locks firmly in place and is released for closing by depression of a steel lever on the back of the grip frame. The knife is complete with it's original Buck wooden display stand which was issued with the knife. The stand has a recessed block to comfortably seat the knife’s butt and slotted block to accommodate the blade edge. The stand has a small plate labelled ‘Buck’ on the front and has 2 holes for wall hanging to the rear. The knife is accompanied by its original care instruction pamphlet and printed ‘Word From The Chairman Of Buck Knives’ leaflet. The knife, stand and paperwork are contained in their original cardboard box emblazoned with ‘Buck Custom Knife’ and image of a knife smith at his forge in gold. WW2 Field Conversion U.S Marine Corps USMC KA-BAR Fighting Knife & Leather Scabbard With Integral Belt Loop. (Sn 14588:2 Daggers & Swords) - 14588:2 This is an original WW2 USMC Ka-bar Fighting Knife & Leather Scabbard (see pages 90 & 91 of Cole’s book U.S. Military Knives Book 3). This example has been contemporarily field converted. The conversion has shortened the original handle with compressed leather washers to 4 washers instead of 5 and the original steel pommel replaced by a brass pommel. The converted fighting knife fits the hand well. It’s 7” steel drop point blade has staining and stable areas of pitting consistent with age and service use. The blade has markings ‘KA-BAR’ on one side & ‘USMC’ on the reverse. It measures 11 ¼” overall length. The knife is complete with its original leather scabbard with integral belt loop & single retaining strap and press stud fastener. VERY RARE, WW2 U.S. Military ‘Western Cutlery Co Combat Knife (Fore Runner Of The Famous Ka-Bar USMC Fighting Knife) & Scabbard (Sn 14588:1 Daggers & Swords) - 14588:1 This is an original, very rare, WW2 era Western Cutlery Co USA combat knife (see page 60 Fig No.1 of US Military Knives Book III By Cole). These fighting knives were the fore runner to the famous USMC Ka-Bar fighting knife. It measures 13” in length overall length with correct, steel framed, compressed leather washer hilt, oval steel cross guard and 8” drop point blued blade. The blade is stamped by the manufacturer ‘Western Boulder Colo Pat’d ’. It is in its original correct brown leather scabbard with belt loop and retaining strap with press stud fastener. WW1 1918, U.S. Army Model 1917 Machine Gunner’s Bolo Fighting Knife By A.C. Co Chicago & Scabbard. Sn 14557 - 14557 The model 1917 U.S. Machine Gunner’s bolo knife originated from the form of the Springfield 1903 pattern bolo bayonet, identical to the bayonet but without bayonet fittings (see page 66 plates 316 & 317 of Fighting Knives by Fred Stephens). The hilt is steel with contoured wood grips secured by 2 bolts. It has a contoured flat steel cross guard and heavy 10 ¼” bolo shaped blade ideal for cutting dense foliage and digging machine gun emplacements. The blade has staining consistent with age. The ricasso is stamped on one side ‘AC Co Chicago’ and dated ‘1918’. The reverse has model detail ‘Mod 1917’ and ‘U.S’ (U.S. Army) together with ‘CT’. Its original scabbard is canvas covered wood with reinforced leather chape and brass throat mount. The rear of the scabbard has a brass wire hanging bar. The price includes UK delivery. ED 2208 - ED 2208 This is an original Vietnam period MK 2 WW2 U.S. Navy Fighting Knife made by Camillus in its scabbard. The grip is constructed of the correct compressed laminated leather washers (see pages 73 to 84 of of ‘US Military Knives by Cole’). It has a steel cross guard and a 7" parkerised bowie blade. The blade is marked "U.S. CAMILLUS" (Camillus Cutlery new York). The pommel is secured by pin.
