This has a stunning array of photographs and drawings which Harleyford excelled at. The second book, 'Reconnaissance & Bomber Aircraft Of The 1914-1918 War' compiled by W.M. Lamberton. Again a Harleyford publication. Published in 1962. Both of the above books are hardback linen covered books and are in good condition. Both measuring 11 1/4" x 9". The third book, 'A Contemptible Little Flying Corps.' by I. Mc Innes and J.V. Webb. Published in 1991. The book is a comprehensive record of all NCO's and other ranks who were serving at the outbreak of WW1 with a mini biography and medal entitlement for each man. This is fully illustrated and is complete with it's original dust cover in excellent condition. Lastly 'The Pour Le Merite & Germany's First Aces' by John R. Angolia and Clint R. Hackney. This is a first edition dated 1984, one of 500 copies signed by the author and numbered. (this one being 427). The pour Le Merite was the highest award for Germany's WW1 Airmen and this book covers all known recipients with a 'potted history' and photograph for each one.
