WW1 1910 Dated British 1907 Bayonet By Enfield and Regimentally Stamped To Oxfordshire Light Infantry & Scabbard Converted For Drill Purposes. Bayo 303 - Bayo 303
This is a converted 1907 bayonet which has had the tip rounded off for drill purposes. It is stamped on the ricasso with a Crown over "E.R." followed by "1907 11 10 (Manufactured November 1910) and "E.F.D." (Enfield). The other side is stamped with a War Department Broad Arrow and several inspection stamps. The pommel is stamped with "OX" over "321" denoting regimental use by the Oxfordshire Light Infantry. The scabbard is the standard No 1 MK II with tear drop frog stud. (See Skennerton's Item B236 pages 188-189). The price includes delivery. Bayo 303

Dutch M4 Bayonet Dated 1952 by E&F Horster of Solinger for the M1 Carbine, Scabbard and Frog Sn 13877 - 13877
An original Dutch M4 bayonet dated 1952 by E&F Horster of Solingen for the M1 Carbine, complete with scabbard and webbing frog. The bayonet has a black steel blade which measures 6 3/4" long. The blade has no markings. It is in perfect condition. It is fitted with a crossguard which has a muzzle ring. On the underside of the crossguard it has the E&F Horster makers stamp. The bayonet has brown coloured plastic grips in imitation of the leather ringed grips on the US model. The grips are secured with two screw bolts. The steel pommel incorporates a bayonet release mechanism which operates smoothly. The scabbard is a wood patterned US style scabbard which has a green webbing frog. The scabbard is in very good condition. The frog is riveted to the scabbard with two rivets. It has a belt loop and wire belt clip. Brazilian Military 1908 Pattern Bayonet For 7mm Mauser Rifles & Brass Mounted Leather Scabbard. Sn 13774 - 13774
This is the bayonet for the 7mm Mauser Rifle adopted by Brazil in 1908 (see 'An Illustrated History Of Bayonets' by Martin J Brayley, Page 38) . It has a swept quillon coss guard and 12” single edge fullered blade. It has wood slab grips secured with two steel rivets. The pommel is steel and has a push button release which works as it should . The only marking on the bayonet are a letter ‘B’ on the back of the blade and number ‘a3691’ on the cross guard . The brass mounted leather scabbard has number on ‘s4074’ on the frog stud. All leather & stitching of the scabbard are intact. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 13774 (Other countries Box 2)

Matching Numbers, 1877 Dated, French Model 1874 Gras Sword Bayonet By Manufactures D’Armes De St. Étienne With Scabbard Bayo 299 - Bayo 299
An original French Gras Sword bayonet for the Model 1874 Gras rifle, the successor of the Chassepot. It has a straight, clean 20 ½” T back blade. The back of the blade ids dated August 1877 and is marked by the manufacturer . ‘Manufactures D’Armes De St. Étienne’. The slab wood grips are I undamaged. It has a hooked quillon which is secured with two rivets and muzzle ring. It has a brass pommel and a push button release which operates smoothly. The cross guard has small inspection marks and is numbered ‘H 24793’. It is complete with its original steel scabbard which has matching number ‘H 24793’. MATCHING NUMBERS, 1872 French Model 1866 Chassepot Yataghan Sword Bayonet By Tulle Arsenal With Brass Grip & Steel Scabbard. Bayo 294 - BAYO 294
An original French model 1866 Chassepot sword bayonet (See pages 70 and 71 of ‘An Illustrated History Of Bayonets’ by Brayley). The steel fullered single edged ‘T’ back Yataghan blade has staining consistent with age and is 22 ¾” length. It has the correct steel hooked quillon with muzzle ring. It has a ribbed brass grip with flat spring and steel push button. The blade has small inspection marks. The cross guard is numbered ‘FG 60597’. The back of the blade is marked with the name of the French Arsenal ‘Tulle’ and dated ‘February 1872' in French. Tulle was a smaller Arsenal than St Etienne and Châtellerault and had smaller production numbers. It is complete with the correct steel scabbard. The scabbard has no dents and has its original fixed strap bar. The scabbard has even patina and is stamped with matching number near to the throat. Price includes UK delivery. BAYO 294

1918 German Model 1898/05 G98 Mauser 'Butcher Knife' Bayonet By Mauser A.G. Oberndorf Complete with Steel Scabbard & Leather Frog. Bayo 289 - Bayo 289
A 1918 German Model 1898/05 G98 Mauser 'Butcher Knife' bayonet By Mauser A.G. Oberndorf. This is a very nice condition original Imperial German Pattern 1898/05 'butchers knife' bayonet and scabbard for the Gew. 98 Mauser Rifle. This is the later model with a trimmed muzzle ring and fitted with a flash guard. The ricasso is stamped "Waffenfabrik Mauser A.G. Oberndorf a.n.". The back edge of the blade is stamped with the Imperial Crown above "W 18" (1918). The blade is clean and the grips are original and un-damaged. The steel scabbard is also original and in good order with just a couple of very minor dents on the reverse as to be expected. (See image 267 in 'The Bayonet Book' by Watts and White). This is a nice Pre 1803 India Pattern socket bayonet. It is stamped on the blade with "S. Dawes" and as such pre dates 1803 when the firm became "W & S Dawes" (1803-1813). The blade is also stamped with a Star and the number "2". The socket is stamped with the number "228". The blade measures 17", 21.75" overall. The socket itself is 4.1" with the muzzle ring diameter being 25mm. The brown leather scabbard is missing the top chape but otherwise is in very good condition. Danish M5 Bayonet, Scabbard and Webbing Intergral Frog. Bayo 273 - Bayo 273
This is a scarce Danish bayonet issued in 1962. It is identical to the U.S. M5 but is contained in a wood grained scabbard. It was issued in small quantities as the Haerens Tekniske Korps Model 1962. The pommel is stamped with a Crown over 'HTK M62' which signifies the Army Technical Corps Model 1962. The grips are black plastic and secured with two screw bolts. The bayonet has a thumb release tab which is located near to the crossguard, it operates smoothly. The scabbard is wood grained and the top mount carries a crown over HTK The webbing integral frog is a more elaborate version of the American type. This bayonet fits the M1 Garand rifle which Denmark had been using since 1950. The bayonets were made in Germany under licence. Not a common bayonet on the collectors market. British 1842 Pattern Socket Bayonet. Bayo 268 - Bayo 268
This is an 1842 pattern socket bayonet with 'Lovell's Lug'. It has an overall length of 21" with a blade length of 17" and a muzzle ring diameter of 24m. It features the new line rounded shoulders with Lovell's lug and a groove cut in the rim for sighting. The blade is stamped with a Crown over "B" over "8" over "E X" over "X" over "T S". The bayonet is un-common but is pitted overall, hence the price. The price includes UK delivery. Bayo 268

French M1956 Bayonet, Scabbard and Leather Frog. Bayo 255 - Bayo 255
This is an early M1956 bayonet for the 49/56 MAS Rifle. It has the first pattern blade with the longer false edge and is contained in the first pattern scabbard of steel with leather frog. The crossguard is stamped with an "E" followed by "HF" The blade is parkerised and the grips are black plastic. It has an unusual double muzzle ring arrangement which was necessitated by the integral grenade launcher on the rifle. These bayonets are getting harder to find on the collectors market.
