*As New 11.47 ft/lbs* Air Arms Pro Sport Walnut .22 Air Rifle with an ER 4-16x44 SFIR Scope. AI 588. - AI 588 The Pro Sport by Air Arms is quite often regarded as one of the best spring-powered air rifles available today. This rifle is an under-lever, but instead of the lever being out the front of the rifle, upsetting the balance, it's neatly recessed within the stock, keeping the balance nicely proportioned. Along with this revolutionary design, the Pro Sport has the tried and tested 'CD' trigger system for a crisp and clean let-off every time. An anti-bear trap system is built into the rifle, which prevents the rifle from firing when the cocking arm is open. The mechanism inside the Air Arms Pro-Sport slides on synthetic bearing material, which reduces friction in both firing and cocking. The overall Length is 1050mm, barrel Length 243mm. The previous owner found the rifle not to their liking and it appears relatively little used (if at all) as it still has the original swing tag in place. The metalwork *small mark to the tip of the barrel* and Walnut woodwork *small mark to the left-hand side fore below screw* are very good. The pistol grip cap is marked and will be addressed before sale. The rifle comes with an as new T-Eagle ER 4-16x44 SFIR Scope. The rifles loading & firing action work crisply firing at a respectable 11.47 ft/lbs. Serial No-182177. The price for this very original air rifle and scope includes UK delivery. NB As a post 1939 Air Weapon the restrictions of the Crime Reduction Act apply to the sale & delivery of this item. AI 588. £895.00

*Scarce Pre-WWII* Early Model Millita Original ‘V’ .177 Air Rifle by F. Langenham. 22253. - 22253 The story of Langenhan begins in 1842 Germany in the town of Mehlis, Thüringen with Valentin Friedrich Langenhan (10th June 1819 – 2nd March 1886). Valentin, who at this time was 23, along with his father, Johann Gottlieb Langenhan, 51, bought a shop in which they set up their gunsmith business. Together they produced and sold various gun parts such as flintlocks, hair-set locks, guards, caps, tools and knife blades. Johann (16th May 1791 – 15th January 1883) was a master gunmaker and personally trained his son Valentin in the art. It is said that Valentin preferred to use his second name Friedrich which is frequently seen in Langenhan company literature. Perhaps this was to differentiate himself from another Valentin Langenhan who operated an iron and steel works that was also located in Mehlis. This example being the rifled version with the under latch, it comes with the F.L.Z. trademark stamped to the air chamber and an Original V within a circle stamped to the side of the stock. The serial number is stamped to the left side of the air chamber-L37042. See page 161 of The Collectors Guide to Air Rifles by Dennis Hiller for reference. The metalwork is good with only minor age-related pitting in areas. The wooden stock and butt plate are in very nice condition also, with a nice patina. It cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery. 22253. £595.00

*Mint/Boxed with Original Accessories* 1977-1983 BSA Buccaneer .22 Air Rifle. 20133. - 20133 The BSA Buccaneer is a break barrel spring powered air rifle first produced in 1977 by the Birmingham Small Arms Company, manufactured in both .177 (4.5 mm) and .22 (5.5 mm) calibres and marketed as an introduction air rifle for younger shooters with a muzzle energy of 5.5 ft•lb. The rifle has a safety catch, which is disengaged by operation of a lever next to the shooter's thumb. The rifle shared the action of the BSA Scorpion Air Pistol, barrel from a BSA Meteor Air Rifle and a brown plastic stock designed for right-hand shooters. The spring and piston are compressed by breaking the 18” barrel 125° before loading a pellet directly into the breach. The barrel is then returned into place and secured with a detent lock. The rifle has a peep sight at the rear of the cylinder, rather than the normal position on the breechblock. The moulded stock is in near perfect condition and the metal work is in as equally good condition. There is a shrouded front sight to compliment the rear, the serial No is ‘DA02795’. The rifle comes in its original cardboard box with polystyrene insert. The original accessories are included: BSA oil, Cocking aid, metal target holder with targets and owners maintenance sheet. C1933 BSA Standard No2 T Prefixed .22 Air Rifle. 21984. - 21984 The No2 Standard was prefixed with a T from January 1936. The rifle has a clear T-prefix serial number on the underside of the 3-hole trigger housing. The serial number of this example is ‘T 1960’ which dates it to between 1936 & 1939. This type of rifle originates from the work of a gentleman inventor and engineer Lincoln Jefferies. He held the original patent which was logged in 1906. It is a solid barrel and cylinder with an under-lever for re-charging the air piston. There is a loading Tap approximately halfway along the length of the weapon, which when tipped forward opens a chamber to place the pellet or steel ball bearing within. German Diana Model 35 .22 Air Rifle. 21961. - 21961 The Diana 35 was the older brother of the Diana 27. Series 1 was produced from 1953 through to1964. Diana's model 35 was one of the most powerful spring guns in the 1950s. Series 2 was made until 1987. Dianas were sold in the U.S. under many brand names, which confuses collectors. The Winchester 435 is really a Diana 35. They were also known as Original 35, Peerless 35, Geco 35, Beeman 200 and HY-Score 809. The Diana 35 was the older brother of the Diana 27. It was produced from 1953 through to 1964, when it was revised into a modernised version that lasted through to 1987. So, that’s 1953-1964 for the first run, of which there are several variations and 1965-1987. It has an adjustable rear sight and shrouded fore sight with a rotating selection of different blades. The woodwork is in good condition for its age with some use related marks and has a chequered fore and pistol grip. The rifle retains 90% of its bluing. ‘Original Mod.35’ is stamped to the top of the barrel and ‘Made in Germany to the left-hand side of the barrel. The rifle cocks, loads and fires with a nice tight action. The price includes UK delivery. C1927 BSA Standard Second Series .22 Underlever Air Rifle with ‘S’ prefix. AI 603. - AI 603 The serial No S36694 dates this rifle to circa: 1927 (the series were made between 1922 & 1929). A 3 hole trigger block replaced the earlier 2 hole version when serial numbers reached around S14000 towrds the end of 1922. When mention is made of the BSA the Standard No1 and Standard No2 spring to mind, but it should be remembered that BSA referred to their full length .177 and .22 air rifles as the standard. In 1907 BSA used the term ‘ordinary pattern’ to differentiate the full length .177 from the light pattern, and by 1909 the company was calling the full length rifles the standard pattern. This example is in good condition with some blueing missing to expose the nice metalwork. The wooden stock is showing minor signs of age-related wear and is the correct pre-WWII item *slight damage to the butt of the stock. The rifle has been chronographed and cocks, loads and fires as it should. See page 124 in ‘The Book of the BSA Air Rifle 1905 to 1939’ by John Milewski for reference (available on our website). The price for this piece of history includes UK delivery. AI 603. £395.00
