Webley VMX .177 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle With Classic Wood Stock, & AGS 3-9x40 Mil-Dot Telescopic Sight. Sn 18264 - 18264 These air rifles are made with classic wood stock or black synthetic stock. Our example has the classic wood stock and has all of the VMX features including: Powr-Lok mainspring, a 2-stage adjustable trigger, automatic safety catch, arrestor block, chequered ambidextrous hardwood stock, cocking aid and fibre optic adjustable open sights. The rifle has a 17” rifled barrel and measures 43” overall. The rifle's bore is clean with crisp rifling. The rifle is fitted with an AGS 3-9x40 Mil-Dot Telescopic Sight. All optics of the sight are excellent and it has its original lens protector covers with windows to allow quick sighting in the field. The lens covers are joined by elasticated cords. The metal work retains all of its original blueing. The barrel block and cylinder are marked with model and calibre detail & serial number (all illustrated). The rifle cocks loads and fires with a nice tight action. The price includes UK delivery. 1960’s Webley Mark 3, .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle. AI 510. - AI 510 Webley introduced their MK 3 series of air rifles in 1947. In 1961 Webley began producing Webley MK 3 air rifles with a telescopic sight rail spot welded to the top of the air cylinder (see Page 237 to 243 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork and metal work of this example are in excellent undamaged condition. The stock has the correct inlaid 'Webley' roundel. It has an 18 ¾” clean rifled barrel with loading tap and measures 43" overall. The underlever is stamped with serial number 'A190'. The air chamber has its original spot welded sight rail and the weapon is marked with model and manufacturer detail (illustrated). It has a block & blade fore sight and adjustable dial rear sight. German Weihrauch HW35 .177 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle With Vixen Waterproof 4x32 Telescopic Sight. AI 508 - AI 508 The Weihrauch name has been associated with solid build quality and reliability for many years. Weihrauch’s range of solid, accurate springers have been a popular choice for airgunners. The HW 35 was introduced in the early 1950s and production continued into the modern era. This is Weihrauch HW35 is in .177 calibre. The rifle has a 19 ½” barrel and original undamaged wood with figured cheek piece and rubber shoulder recoil pad. The metal work retains its original blueing which has light blemishes and wear consistent with field use. It has a shrouded target fore sight, adjustable rear sight & is fitted with a Vixen Waterproof 4x32 Telescopic Sight. The scope has removable lens protector covers. The optics are excellent. The barrel block is marked with model and calibre detail (illustrated in image 2) and features the correct barrel locking lever. The rifle is serial number 708525. 1959-1962 B.S.A Meteor MK I .177 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle 'NH' Prefix Serial Number, with Target Sight in excellent condition . AI 505. - AI 505 Birmingham Small Arms introduced the Meteor Air rifle in both .177 & .22 calibre in 1959. MK 1 rifles were produced until 1962 when the MK II model was introduced. MK II production continued until 1968. The small frame rifle is 41 ½” overall with an 18" barrel. This is a near mint example of the MK I Meteor in .177 Calibre. It has a light coloured wood stock with grooved butt end. The metal work retains all of its original blueing. The top of the adjustable rear rail is stamped with 'BSA Meteor' with stylised arrow logo. The rifle's serial number 'NH43081' is stamped on the underside of the barrel block. The 'NH' prefix serial number dates the rifle to between 1959 and 1962 (see page 39 of Collector's Guide to Air Rifles By Hiller). The top of the barrel is stamped ‘BSA Guns Ltd England’ together with ‘.177 Cal’ and BSA piled arms logo. The barrel's bore is clean with crisp rifling and it cocks and fires as it should with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery. 1965-1967 B.S.A. Airsporter MK II .22 Calibre, Under Lever Air Rifle With 'GE' Prefix Serial Number. Sn 18085:19 - 18085:19 An excellent condition MK II B.S.A Airsporter .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It has faint serial number on the trigger block which appears to be ‘GE 1321’ which dates it to between 1965 and 1967 (see page 49 of Hillers Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork and metal work are all original & in excellent undamaged condition. It is under lever cocking and has a shrouded ramp foresight & adjustable dial rear sight. The top of the air cylinder has the correct 2 continuous grooves for telescopic sight. The top of the barrel has BSA manufacturer name, piled arms trademark and calibre detail. 1974 To 1983 B.S.A. Airsporter MK VI .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle With GL Prefix Serial Number. 18085:17 - 18085:17 An excellent condition B.S.A, MK VI Airsporter, .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It is serial number GL 37985 which identifies it as a MK VI and dates it to between 1974 and 1983 (see Page 56 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The wood stock with rubber embossed BSA logo recoil pad and metal work are in excellent undamaged condition. The top of the air chamber is correctly marked with the ‘B.S.A. Airsporter' gold coloured electroplated legend and is grooved for telescopic sight. The top of the barrel is crisply stamped with 'B.S.A. Guns Ltd, England .22 Cal' and with the B.S.A 'stacked rifles' logo. It is under lever cocking and has an adjustable rear sight. Its loading and firing actions work crisply. Sn 18176 - 18176 Webley introduced their Junior size Ranger air rifle in 1950 and production continued until 1970 (see Page 225 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork and metal work of this example are in excellent condition. It has an 16” rifled barrel and measures 38 ½” overall. The barrel block is numbered ‘174’. 1924 B.S.A. Standard No. 1 Model (Aka 'L' Or Light/ Ladies Model) .177 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle With 14 ¼” Stock. Sn 17552:4 - 17552:4 This is an excellent B.S.A. Standard No. 1 Model 177 calibre, under lever air rifle. Also known as the 'L' or Ladies/ Light model it measures 39 ½” overall with a 17" rifled barrel. It’s original undamaged wood stock has chequered panels at the pistol grip. It has a ribbed butt with trap. The underside of the stock is impressed ’14 ¼’ (inches). The rifle has a pinched blade fore sight and adjustable dial rear sight. The metal work is undamaged with original blue finish and is crisply stamped with the correct 'L' prefix serial number on the trigger block 'L21581' which dates it to 1924 (see page 27 of the Collectors Guide to Air Rifles By Hiller). Standard No. 1 Model 177 calibre, under lever air rifle. Also known as the 'L' or Ladies/ Light model it measures 39 ½” overall with a 17" rifled barrel. *UNAVAILABLE* MATCHING NUMBERS, Rare, C1885 To Early 1900's German Heavy Gem .177 & .22 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle Retailed By AAMC Ltd London With Matching Number Argles Patent Shot Plug (Full Length Barrel Tube Calibre Converter). AI 674 - AI 674 German Heavy Gem air rifles were produced from C1885 To Early 1900's (see page 124 of A Collector's Guide To Air Rifles By Hiller). This Heavy Gem is in excellent condition.. The break action of these models is performed by depression of the thumb operated long lever located on top of the steel stock strap. It has a 21 ½” .22 calibre rifled 2 stage barrel. It measures 39 ½” overall. Its metal work and wood stock with steel butt plate is original and undamaged with nice patina throughout. It has fixed fore & rear sights. The barrel flats are crisply stamped with German Patent information, London retailer detail & ‘Patent Shot Plug Airgun’. The inside of the breech block is stamped '6907', ‘907’ is repeated on the inside of the trigger guard. The rifle comes with its original Argles patent marked Breech plug calibre converter and full length barrel tube for firing .177 calibre pellets. The back of the plug has matching number ‘07’.
