*Mint/Boxed with Original Accessories* 1977-1983 BSA Buccaneer .22 Air Rifle. 20133. - 20133
The BSA Buccaneer is a break barrel spring powered air rifle first produced in 1977 by the Birmingham Small Arms Company, manufactured in both .177 (4.5 mm) and .22 (5.5 mm) calibres and marketed as an introduction air rifle for younger shooters with a muzzle energy of 5.5 ft•lb. The rifle has a safety catch, which is disengaged by operation of a lever next to the shooter's thumb. The rifle shared the action of the BSA Scorpion Air Pistol, barrel from a BSA Meteor Air Rifle and a brown plastic stock designed for right-hand shooters. The spring and piston are compressed by breaking the 18” barrel 125° before loading a pellet directly into the breach. The barrel is then returned into place and secured with a detent lock. The rifle has a peep sight at the rear of the cylinder, rather than the normal position on the breechblock. The moulded stock is in near perfect condition and the metal work is in as equally good condition. There is a shrouded front sight to compliment the rear, the serial No is ‘DA02795’. The rifle comes in its original cardboard box with polystyrene insert. The original accessories are included: BSA oil, Cocking aid, metal target holder with targets and owners maintenance sheet. 1999 Cometa ‘Fenix-400’ .22 Air Rifle and Scope. AI 823. - AI 823
The Break barrel action on this gun sets off an automatic safety that has to be turned off before shooting. This ensures the rifle only fires when you're ready reducing the chance of injury to both you and others. Made from rifled steel the barrel measures 370mm in length. Fitted with a sound moderator this rifle can be used for a plethora of jobs ranging from plinking to pest control / hunting. The adjustable rear sight fitted on the rifle allows you to line up the perfect shot time after time. This example comes with a 3-9x40 AGS scope fitted to the rail. The stock is in excellent condition apart from some scratches just behind the pistol grip and to the front of the stock. An "ORIGINAL" MODEL 50 .22 Air Rifle 19955. - 19955
A German ''Original'' model 50 .22 cal. underlever action air rifle (production began back in the 1953 and did not stop until the 80s; so, a long heritage and production standards were always kept to a high standard), with 'Tap Loader', with a waterproof 4x32 telescopic sight. There is no serial number apparent. It is fitted with unmarked chequered wooden stock with a lovely unusual grain and hard rubber butt plate *original will come as the package*. The rifle is 45 inches overall. The model 50 is an underlever spring-piston air rifle that came in both .177 and .22 calibres, with the .22 not being as common, since the 50 was seen as a target gun and Europeans were already using .177 calibres for that. Maybe .22 was a nod toward marketing Americans, with whom the larger calibre was much more favoured. The 50 was made between 1952 and 1965. The rifle retains around 95% of its original blueing. The butt plate and trigger guard have age related marks. Made in Germany and ‘Original Mod 50’ is marked to the cylinder. The rifle cocks, loads and fires with a nice tight action. 1978 German made ‘ORIGINAL' MODEL 35 .22 Air Rifle. 19957. - 19957
Diana's model 35 was one of the most powerful spring guns in the 1950s. It was made until 1987. Dianas were sold in the U.S. under many brand names, which confuses collectors. The Winchester 435 is really a Diana 35. They were also known as Original 35, Peerless 35, Geco 35, Beeman 200 and HY-Score 809. The Diana 35 was the older brother of the Diana 27. It was produced from 1953 through to 1964, when it was revised into a modernised version that lasted through to 1987. So, that’s 1953-1964 for the first run, of which there are several variations and 1965-1987. The serial Number on this rifle is -013180, and is dated 03/78 (March 1978). It has and adjustable rear sight and shrouded fore sight *slight damage*. The woodwork is in good condition for its age with some use related marks. The rifle retains 90% of its bluing. ‘Original Mod.35’ is stamped to the top of the barrel and ‘Made in Germany to the left hand side of the barrel. 1973-1979 B.S.A Meteor MK IV .177 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle 'NG' Prefix Serial Number. AI 818. - AI 818
Birmingham Small Arms introduced the Meteor Air rifle in both .177 & .22 calibre in 1959. MK IV rifles were produced until 1979. The small frame rifle is 41 ½”overall with an 18” barrels. This is a nice example of the MK IV Meteor in .177 Calibre. It has a light coloured wood stock *showing signs of use with numerous indentations* with grooved butt end. The metal work retains 80% of its original blueing *wear to the underside of the barrel and trigger guard*. The top of the adjustable rear rail is stamped with 'BSA Meteor' with stylised arrow logo. The rifle's serial number 'NG43457' is stamped on the underside of the barrel block. The 'NG' prefix serial number dates the rifle to between 1973 and 1979 (see page 40/44 of Collector's Guide to Air Rifles by Hiller). The top of the barrel is stamped ‘BSA Guns Ltd England’ together with ‘.177 Cal’ and BSA piled arms logo. The BSA Meteor is a break barrel spring powered rifle first made in Birmingham, UK, in 1959 by The Birmingham Small Arms Company and the first BSA air rifle engineered to fit a telescopic sight. It is one of the world’s bestselling air weapons with over 2 million sold worldwide. Marketed as an introductory rifle for plinking, hunting and firearm training as a replacement for the BSA Cadet, it is available in .177 (4.5 mm) and .22 (5.5 mm) calibre with standard or carbine length barrels. The spring and piston are compressed by breaking the barrel through 125° before loading a pellet directly into the breach. The barrel is then returned into place and secured with a detent lock. The single-stage trigger is adjustable for pressure. The sights are metal with the front sight being able to be switched from a bead to a blade and the rear adjustable sight could switch between a "V" and "square notch". The cylinder has two shallow grooves to accept a telescopic sight *blueing worn*. The top of the barrel is stamped ‘BSA GUNS LTD ENGLAND’ followed by a BSA piled arms symbol and the air chamber is stamped ‘BSA METEOR’ to the fore of the scope grooves. The rifle is in very good condition, with a nice aged patina to the bluing. The stock is nicely aged showing minor signs of use *wear to the top of the ribbed butt*. 1962-1966 B.S.A Meteor MK II .22 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle 'TA' Prefix Serial Number. AI 816. - AI 816
Birmingham Small Arms introduced the Meteor Air rifle in both .177 & .22 calibre in 1959. MK 1 rifles were produced until 1962 when the MK II model was introduced. MK II production continued until 1968. The small frame rifle is 41 ½” overall with an 18" barrel. This is a good example of the MK II Meteor in .22 Calibre. It has a nice light coloured wood stock only showing minor signs of use related wear with grooved butt end. The metal work is relatively undamaged 8a few marks to the underside of the barrel and trigger guard* and retains the majority of its original blueing. It has a block and blade fore sight. The top of the adjustable rear sight is stamped with the BSA piled arms logo and the top of the cylinder forward of its 2 raised scope mounts is crisply marked 'BSA Meteor' with stylised arrow logo. The rifle's serial number 'TA27204' is stamped on the underside of the barrel block. The 'TA' prefix serial number dates the rifle to between 1962 and 1966 (see page 39 of Collector's Guide to Air Rifles By Hiller). The top of the barrel is stamped ‘BSA Guns Ltd England’ together with ‘.22 Cal’ and BSA piled arms logo. 1959-1965, B.S.A. Airsporter MK II, .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle. AI 815. - AI 815
An excellent condition B.S.A, MK II Airsporter, .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It is serial number GD24904 which dates it to between 1959-1965 (see Page 49 of Hillers Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The wood stock with ribbed butt *5mm mark to the outer edge* and metal work are in very good undamaged condition *black powder paint is wearing on the rear of the cylinder and trigger guard*. The top of the barrel is grooved for telescopic sight. It has a fore sight and flip up rear sight. The top of the barrel is crisply stamped with 'B.S.A. Guns Ltd, England, .22 Cal' and with the B.S.A 'stacked rifles' logo. It is under lever cocking. It has a clean bore with crisp rifling and the loading and firing action works perfectly. 1958-1959 First Model .22 MKI Airsporter with ‘GC’ Prefix. AI 814. - AI 814
The first models of the BSA Airsporter model, not grooved for telescopic sights. It has a an automatic tap port opening as the underlever is pulled down. The top of the cylinder is etched ‘The Birmingham Small Arms Co Ltd-Airsporter .22 Rifle-Made in England’. The serial is in front of the trigger ‘GC1152’. According to a 1958 Parker-Hale catalogue the loss of equipment and essential tools during WWII lead to a complete re-design of the BSA range. The beech stock has some age/use related wear and is missing a small piece near the hand grip. It has shrouded fore sight and an adjustable rear. The metalwork retains 80% of its blueing and the rear of the cylinder and trigger guard are missing some black powder paint. (see Page 48 of Hillers Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The rifle is 44” overall length. It is under lever cocking and the barrel's bore is clean with crisp rifling it cocks and fires as it should with a strong spring action firing at 7.15 ft/lbs. 1990-2004 BSA Superstar .22 Air Rifle & Scope. AI 811. - AI 811
The Superstar was launched in 1990 and was another British response to the German HW77, which by then, had its feet firmly under the table as the rifle to own if you were serious about spring guns. This new underlever borrowed some parts from the BSA Supersport, but in reality they really were a world apart. The Superstar featured a rotary breech to improve accuracy. Production of the Superstar ended in 2004. The stock is a walnut stained European beech with a chequered grip and raised Monte-Carlo cheek piece which is showing a number of age related marks and is fitted with a rubber recoil pad. The metalwork has wear to the trigger guard, barrel and cylinder. The trigger is a two-stage metal blade, adjustable for pressure and it has adjustable rear V and plastic fore sights. The top of the cylinder has a telescopic sight rail. It has a ramp blade shrouded foresight and adjustable rear sight. It's cocking and firing mechanism works with a strong spring action. The rifle is fitted with a 3-9x50 Telescopic Sight. The serial No is RH 11113 which dates the gun to between 1990-2004. Overall length: 42.5”, Barrel: 18.5”. The barrel's bore is clean with crisp rifling and it cocks and fires as it should with a strong spring action firing at an impressive 10.94 ft/lbs. The price includes UK delivery.
