Boxed, Early 1970's Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol & Accessories. AI 615 - AI 615 The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip together with serial number. Early examples had Brown Plastic Grips (see 119/120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is an excellent example in .22 Calibre. It is undamaged, but shows some sign of wear and has the early brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott ltd Birmingham'. The frame near the left grip is stamped with the correct large E (Series designation). The front of the cylinder is stamped with number ‘574’. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in its original cardboard box which has some slight damage, with Webley labelling & imagery. 'Instructions for use' are adhered to the inside of the lid, and the original envelope containing a number of Webley pellets. Price includes UK delivery. Boxed, Post 1958 Webley Senior .22 Calibre Air Pistol With Brown Grips. AI 612 - AI 612 This is a nice Webley Senior .22 Calibre Air pistol. It has slight damage to the brown plastic grips on the bottom rear corner, but both are still tight and in usable condition. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder highlighted in original white paint. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham and with Webley UK & International Patents'. The forward barrel block is stamped '.22' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with serial number '848'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in its original Webley cardboard box with Pre 1958 Birmingham address Webley labelling & imagery (The pre 1958 Birmingham area code 4 was removed post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). Boxed, Pre 1958, Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air Pistol. AI 611 - AI 611 This is an excellent boxed Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air pistol (see pages 95 to 108 of Bruce’s book ‘Webley Air pistols’). It is undamaged with original finish and black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4 Made In England' (In 1958 Webley relocated their factory from Birmingham 4 to Birmingham 21 Postal area. Weapons produced after 1958 were marked either Birmingham or Birmingham 21). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '2190'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. It is contained in its original Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham 4 address. Original Webley Junior Series 2 instructions are adhered to the inside of the lid of the box. The box also contains an original Webley paper target. Boxed, 1970's Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol With Early Brown Grips & Accessories. Sn 18652 - 18652 The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip (see pages 119 / 120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is an excellent example in .22 Calibre. It is undamaged and has early brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos (later versions had black grips). The left side of the cylinder is marked 'The Webley Premier Made In England' highlighted in white. The frame near the left grip is stamped with a partially visible large ‘E’ (Series designation. The front of the cylinder is stamped with batch or serial number 965. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires crisply. The forward barrel block has calibre .22. The pistol is contained in its original cardboard box with Webley labelling & imagery. The inside of the lid has illustrated instructions adhered. The box contains a Bulldog pellet tin which contains a small quantity of .22 calibre lead pellets, 4x .22 calibre darts and a paper Webley target No.1. The price includes UK delivery. **WORLD’S SMALLEST* 1927-1935, German, Venus Waffenfabrik Tell II .177 Calibre Break Action Tin Plate Air Pistol. AI 597 - AI 597 Venus Waffenfabrik of Mehlis Germany produced the Tell II Air pistol between 1927 & 1935. It is made of tin plate and measured 5 ½” overall length. It was advertised as 'The World's smallest spring piston Air Pistol' (see pages 157 & 158 of The Collectors Guide To Air Pistols by Hiller). Its unique concentric design made it the Father of several full size Air Pistols. Before cocking the pistol, a lever is swung out from the rear of the grip to afford mechanical advantage while cocking is performed. The Pistols were only made in No 1 Bore/ .177 calibre. This Tell II .177 Air pistol is in very good condition, fully functioning with original blue finish which is rubbed in areas consistent with age and use. Its original flat chequered wood grips are intact and secured by a screw bolt. The top of the compression cylinder is correctly stamped by the manufacturer 'D.R.G.M Tell II D.R.P' including the Venus Waffenfabrik factory combined 'V & W ' trade mark.
