The Webley Nemesis is a classic Single-Stroke Pneumatic (SSP) model produced in Birmingham from 1994 to 2005. These pistols are a highly regarded Birmingham built vintage air pistol known for its simplicity and accuracy. It is recoilless firing and has a a rifled steel barrel. The Mechanism is Single-stroke pneumatic (cocking the top slide compresses air). Our example is in excellent condition and functions correctly. The pistol has Webley Nemesis model & calibre detail. The pistol is fitted with an ADCO battery powered red dot single point sight which works as it should and comes with the pistol’s and the sight’s original illustrated pamphlets. The Benjamin Model 130 is a vintage, multi-pump pneumatic air pistol, often branded as "Benjamin Franklin," designed primarily as a smoothbore BB gun with high-compression capabilities. Produced around the mid-20th century, these, alongside the similar 132 (.22 cal) and 137 (.177 cal) pellet models, are known for their blued brass & steel construction. This boxed example of the Model 130 is in excellent condition. The pistol is Pneumatic Pump Action. The air chamber is charged by multiple strokes of the underlever pump action and a pellet loaded into the barrel at a port with bolt in the top of the barrel. The power of the air pistol is increased by the number of pumps.The pistol has a safety catch button on the grip frame. The pistol has all of its original blue finish, Benjamin Franklin USA manufacturer’s name model and calibre detail (all illustrated). The pistol is serial number B126298. It has its original undamaged chequered panel Benjamin signature plastic grips, adjustable rear sight and blade fore sight. It has a 9 ” barrel with clean smooth bore and is 11 ¼” overall length. It’s loading and firing actions work crisply. The pistol comes in its original Benjamin cardboard retail box with hinged lid and Benjamin imagery. The box has some light surface wear but is clean and intact. The box contains its original Benjamin owners manual which is dated 4/79 (April 1979), A Daisy labeled cardboard BB tube which contains a quantity of BBs and a plastic MR Services tube which contains a quantity of BBs. **SCARCE**Cased, 1970’s Polish (Poland) Predom Lucznik .177 calibre Air Pistol (Walther LP 53) With Accessories Including Holster. Sn 23452 - 23452
Lucznik is a Polish gun factory making military weapons. In the 1970s and ’80s, they also made a single-shot pellet pistol that was that was similar in design to the famous German Walther LP53 (see page 141 of the ‘ The Collectors Guide To Air Pistols by Hiller). The Predom is a .177 calibre break barrel that cocks in a very strange way. The piston is located vertically in the pistol grip and upon firing, springs upward. Our cased example is in very good condition. It retains all of its original blue finish and has black plastic chequered grips. The frame is crisply marked with manufacturer and model detail (all illustrated) together with 1970 and 1977 dates & serial number CR3450. It loads cocks and fires crisply with a strong spring action. It is complete with original leatherette case with carry handle and hinged lid with retaining straps and press stud fasteners. The case is lined with green material and has retaining straps for the pistol and accessories. Our case contains the pistol’s original cleaning rod, plastic tube which slides over the barrel to assist leverage to break the barrel for cocking and an original brown leather open top holster with retaining strap and lug fastener and 2 webbing belt hanging loops. The holster is in excellent clean condition & the inside of the holster has indistinct factory maker / inspection ink marks (illustrated). The lid of the case is mounted with a brass winged Eagle Polish state badge. The price for this cased pistol includes UK delivery. Boxed Post 1977 Webley Hurricane .22 Calibre Air Pistol & Accessories. Sn 23207 - 23207
Production of the Webley Hurricane began in 1977. The pistols replaced the Webley Premier MK II (see page 238 of The Collector’s Guide To Air Pistols by Hiller). This is an excellent example of the Webley Hurricane .22 calibre Air Pistol. The Pistol has an over lever action which has a strong spring and fires crisply. The pistol retains all of its original black finish. The frame is marked with the Webley manufacturer’s detail and 'Hurricane' model. It has contoured target grips, safety catch, adjustable rear sight & blade foresight. The pistol has its original brightly coloured Black and Green coloured box with Red inlaid tray. The inside of the lid has illustrated instructions for care & use. A previous owner has wrapped the lid in clear cellophane to protect it during storage. The accessories consist of an RWS Diablo pellet tin containing a quantity of .22 calibre lead pellets, a metal target holder with pellet catcher tray & the pistol’s original allen key tool with metal Webley key ring. This is a very good Webley Senior .177 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with brown plastic grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder correctly highlighted in white. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham 4' and 'Webley Patents' (The pre 1958 Birmingham area code 4 was removed post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). The forward barrel block is stamped '.177' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with serial / batch number '1828’. The rear of the cylinder is correctly marked ‘Not to be removed’ highlighted in red. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in its original Webley cardboard box with Pre 1958 Birmingham 4 address Webley labelling & imagery. Original 'instructions for use' are adhered to the inside of the lid. This is an excellent Webley Senior air pistol. It is undamaged with all original blue finish & brown plastic grips. An excellent Webley Premier MK II air pistol (see 133 to 141 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This example is in .22 calibre. It is undamaged and has the correct alloy frame which has all of its original blue finish. It has the correct black chequered panel plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder has the correct foil insert marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd Webley Premier MK II Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial or batch number 830. **RARE & UNUSUAL**1925-1935 German Hubertus Push Barrel Spring Piston .177 Calibre Air Pistol. AI 812 - AI 812
A rare Hubertus .177 Calibre Air Pistol manufactured by Hubertus Metal Works, Mollin, Germany between 1925 and 1935 (see pages 98 & 99 of Hiller’s book ‘The Collector’s Guide To Air Pistols’). They are a push barrel spring piston single shot pistol modelled on a pre war German Semi Automatic pistol and this example is the smooth bore version. It has an unusual cocking method. Firstly the barrel is pushed in until it engages the sear, the circular collar is then pulled back the barrel then drops down allowing the rear of the cylinder to be exposed. A pellet is then inserted and the barrel pulled back fully out of the cylinder (assisted by grip grooves at the muzzle), tilted horizontally and the collar re engaged by pushing it forward to secure the cylinder. The pistol is then fired in the conventional manner. This particular pistol is in very good overall condition and retains its original blue finish aged to plum colour in areas. It is crisply marked ‘D.R.G.M Hubertus Germany’ on the left side of the action and is serial number 10571. The original wood grip is undamaged and has a hand carved diamond cartouche on one side. It has an 8” barrel & measures 10 ½” overall length. The top of the frame has fixed open sights. The pistol cocks and fires with a strong spring action. This is a near mint boxed Webley Junior .177 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with original finish and black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4 Made In England' (In 1958 Webley relocated their factory from Birmingham 4 to Birmingham 21 Postal area. Weapons produced after 1958 were marked either Birmingham or Birmingham 21). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '875'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires crisply with a strong spring action. The barrel's rifled bore is near mint clean and bright. The pistol is contained in its original Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham address. Original Webley Junior Series 2 instructions are adhered to the inside of the lid of the box. The surface of the box has areas of age related storage wear but is intact with no cuts or tears. The box contains an empty original period .177 calibre Webley lead pellets packet with printed Webley labelling and its original cardboard Webley trade label. **WORLD’S SMALLEST* 1927-1935, German, Venus Waffenfabrik Tell II .177 Calibre Break Action Tin Plate Air Pistol. Sn 22646 - 22646
Venus Waffenfabrik of Mehlis Germany produced the Tell II Air pistol between 1927 & 1935. It is made of tin plate and measured 5 ½” overall length. It was advertised as 'The World's smallest spring piston Air Pistol' (see pages 157 & 158 of The Collectors Guide To Air Pistols by Hiller). Its unique concentric design made it the Father of several full size Air Pistols. Before cocking the pistol, a lever is swung out from the rear of the grip to afford mechanical advantage while cocking is performed. The Pistols were only made in No 1 Bore/ .177 calibre. This Tell II .177 Air pistol is in very good condition, fully functioning with original blue finish which is faded to a nice plum colour in areas consistent with age and use. Its original flat chequered wood grips are intact and secured by a screw bolt. The top of the compression cylinder is correctly stamped by the manufacturer 'D.R.G.M Tell II D.R.P' including the Venus Waffenfabrik factory combined 'V & W ' trade mark.
