The Weihrauch name has been associated with solid build quality and reliability for many years. Introduced in the 1990’s the HW80 transformed the hunting rifle market. The air rifles were available as the HW80 (full size) and HW80K with shorter barrel. This is a near mint Weihrauch HW80K in .22 calibre. The rifle has a 19” barrel fitted with factory sound moderator and Telescopic sight. It measures 45” overall. It has superb woodwork and rubber shoulder recoil pad. The metal work retains all of its original blueing and the top of the air cylinder is grooved for telescopic sight. The barrel block is marked with model and calibre detail (illustrated in image 2). It is serial number '1880033' and is marked by the British importers ‘Hull Cartridge’. The rifle cocks loads and fires with a nice tight action. It is fitted with a Nikko Stirling 3-9x50 AO IR MD Mountmaster Side IR Telescopic Sight in the same mint condition. **MINT**Post 1979 BSA Airsporter ‘S’ Stutzen .177 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle With ‘EP’ Prefix Serial Number. Sn 18236 - 18236
The BSA Airsporter S was introduced in 1979. EP prefix serial numbers denote .177 calibre (see page 59 of The Collector’s Guide To Air Rifles By Hiller). This is a near mint example of the Airsporter S in .177 calibre. The rifle measures 45” overall with a 19 ½” barrel. The rifle has an undamaged ¾ stutzen walnut stock with contoured cheek piece and rosewood fore end cap. The stock has finely chequered wrist panels for grip and is fitted with sling swivel lugs & rubber recoil pad the end of which bears the BSA piled arms logo. The weapon's barrel is stamped 'BSA Guns Ltd England (partially obscured by barrel band) .177 Cal' also with the BSA piled arms logo. The left side of the barrel is stamped with the correct EP prefix serial number 'EP 02322'. The bore is rifled barrel’s bore is clean. It has a shrouded ramp blade, fore sight, adjustable rear sight & telescopic sight grooves. The top of the air cylinder has the correct marking ‘BSA Airsporter S’. 1982 One Of One Thousand’. Boxed, Post WW2 'The Webley Mark 1' .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Accessories. AI 718 - AI 718
This is an excellent, boxed, 'Webley Mark I Air Pistol'. These pistols were made pre WW2 and post war. Pre 1939 pistol barrels were straight, without the post war ribbed barrel section and their grips were without the post war Webley embossed roundels (see pages 71 to 73 of Bruce's book Webley Air Pistols). Our post WW2 example has undamaged metal work and retains its original blue finish. It has the correct undamaged post war black chequered grips with embossed Webley roundels. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'Webley Air Pistol Mark I Made In England'. The left side also has the correct oil hole marked 'Oil' with arrow indicator all highlighted in white. The front of the cylinder is numbered ‘582’. The right side of the cylinder is marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4' and ‘Webley Patents’. It has an adjustable rear sight & the barrel strap beneath the blade fore sight is stamped 'MK 1 .177' (calibre). The barrel’s rifled bore is clean and has the correct post war ribbed grip section. The underside of the frame has a small stylised ‘&’ factory inspector’s mark. The pistol cocks and fires crisply. The pistol is contained in its original Webley labelled box which is undamaged and bears Webley pistol imagery. The inside of the lid has its original illustrated instructions for use. The box contains the pistol’s original Webley cardboard tag, illustrated instruction leaflet, 5 Webley paper gift vouchers which were included with these air pistols when purchased in the period & a cardboard Milbro Caledonian .177 calibre pellet box which contains a small quantity of .177 calibre lead pellets. Boxed 1960’s Webley Junior .177 Calibre Air Pistol With 4 x .177 Calibre Darts. AI 714 - AI 714
This is an excellent boxed Webley Junior .177 Calibre Air pistol (see pages 95 to 108 of Bruce’s book ‘Webley Air Pistols’). It is undamaged with original blue finish. It has the correct black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4 Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '318'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly crisply. The pistol’s rifled bore is clean. Boxed, Post WW2 'The Webley Mark 1' .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Pre War Barrel (No Ribbed Section) & Original Instruction Card. AI 710 - AI 710
This is a very good 'The Webley Mark I Air Pistol'. These pistols were manufactured at the Webley Birmingham 4 factory post WW2 To 1958. Production continued at their Handsworth factory into the 1960's. (See pages 71 to 73 of Bruce's book Webley Air Pistols). It has excellent undamaged metal work with original finish and undamaged black chequered grips embossed with the 'Webley' name (pre war examples do not have Webley signature grips). The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'Webley Air Pistol Mark I Made In England'. The left side also has the correct oil hole marked 'Oil' with arrow indicator. The right side of the cylinder is marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham' together with Webley’s International patents. It has an adjustable rear sight & the barrel strap beneath the blade fore sight is stamped 'MK 1 .177'. The barrel’s rifled bore is clean. The barrel is the pre 1939 straight version without ribbed section which was introduced post war. The frame has serial number ‘63394’ and the front of the cylinder is stamped with matching number ‘394’. The rear of the cylinder is correctly marked 'do not remove'. The pistol cocks and fires crisply. The pistol is contained in its original Webley labelled box which is undamaged and bears Webley pistol imagery, trademark and Birmingham 4 address. Boxed, 1970’s B.S.A MK V Super Meteor .22 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle 'TH' Prefix Serial Number. Sn 18085:26 - 18085:26
Birmingham Small Arms introduced the MK V Super meteor in the 1970’s with an improved trigger action and cylinder drilled to allow relocation of the rear sight to the rear of the cylinder. This is a near mint example of the MK V Meteor in .22 Calibre. The small frame rifle is 41 ½” overall with an 18 ¼” barrel. It has an undamaged wood stock with ribbed butt. The metal work retains all of its original blue finish. It has a ramp block and blade fore sight & adjustable target rear sight. The top of the cylinder is milled for scope mounts and is correctly marked 'BSA Meteor' (without arrows as found on standard Meteors). It has the correct drilled hole for sight relocation. The rifle's serial number 'TH5637' which identifies the rifle as a .22 calibre MK V Super Meteor (see page 44 of The Collector's Guide to Air Rifles By Hiller). The barrel's bore is clean with crisp rifling and it cocks and fires as it should with a strong spring action. The rifle comes with its original cardboard retail box which contains its original pressed cardboard inserts to protect the rifle. The exterior of the box has colourful BSA labelling and imagery. 1965-1967 B.S.A. Airsporter MK II .22 Calibre, Under Lever Air Rifle With 'GE' Prefix Serial Number. Sn 18085:19 - 18085:19
An excellent condition MK II B.S.A Airsporter .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It has faint serial number on the trigger block which appears to be ‘GE 1321’ which dates it to between 1965 and 1967 (see page 49 of Hillers Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork and metal work are all original & in excellent undamaged condition. It is under lever cocking and has a shrouded ramp foresight & adjustable dial rear sight. The top of the air cylinder has the correct 2 continuous grooves for telescopic sight. The top of the barrel has BSA manufacturer name, piled arms trademark and calibre detail. 1970`s, Spanish, El Gamo Military Pattern A.S.I. Paratrooper Single Shot .22 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle. Sn 18085:18 - 18085:18
During the 1970`s the Spanish Air Weapon manufacturer El Gamo produced their Paratooper Air Rifles. They were available in both single shot and repeater form. This is an excellent single shot example. It has a Military type black plastic figured shoulder stock with ribbed panel fore stock, recoil pad and chequered panel plastic pistol grip. It measures 38” overall with an 18” rifled barrel. It is fitted with original adjustable rear sight stamped with Deer’s head trademark & shrouded blade fore sight. The top of the air cylinder is marked by the manufacturer ` El Gamo` with the manufacturer`s logo and `Made in Spain`. The barrel block is stamped .22 Calibre detail and serial number `HO9971`. 1974 To 1983 B.S.A. Airsporter MK VI .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle With GL Prefix Serial Number. 18085:17 - 18085:17
An excellent condition B.S.A, MK VI Airsporter, .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It is serial number GL 37985 which identifies it as a MK VI and dates it to between 1974 and 1983 (see Page 56 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The wood stock with rubber embossed BSA logo recoil pad and metal work are in excellent undamaged condition. The top of the air chamber is correctly marked with the ‘B.S.A. Airsporter' gold coloured electroplated legend and is grooved for telescopic sight. The top of the barrel is crisply stamped with 'B.S.A. Guns Ltd, England .22 Cal' and with the B.S.A 'stacked rifles' logo. It is under lever cocking and has an adjustable rear sight. Its loading and firing actions work crisply. Weihrauch 177 Cal. HW 70 Air Pistols were introduced in 1970. The pistols were renowned for superior build quality. This is an excellent example. It has a 6 ¼” rifled barrel, shrouded foresight and adjustable rear sight. The right side of the barrel block is crisply stamped with 'HW70' model detail. The left side is stamped with '4.5' (.177) calibre detail. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'Made In Germany' and the underside of the barrel has serial number '172259'. The right side is stamped with the Weihrauch German address. All metalwork retains its original finish. It has a tough contoured, ambidextrous synthetic target grip inlaid on both sides with 'HW' roundels. The pistol is contained in its original foam box with removable lid.
