**SCARCE IN THE UK**1959-1979 American Daisy Model 99 .177 BB Repeating Lever Action Air Rifle. AI 620 - AI 620
The Model 99 came out in 1959. It was created by Daisy to promote youth marksmanship training, and had features designed with that in mind. For example, it came with an adjustable rear peep sight. Up front is a globe or hooded front sight that accepts inserts (4 inserts were available that can quickly be changed by pressing in on the spring-loaded insert carrier). Daisy also created a marksmanship program for it that is still being held. The Daisy BB gun championships have been held since 1966. At one period they were called international championships. Because of its marksmanship features, most particularly the sights, the 99 was well-suited to competition. Production of the original daisy Model 99 ended in 1979. The metal work is a mixture of steel and alloy painted black. Our example in excellent condition and scarce to find in the UK has the correct sighting arrangement, lever action that functions as it should and sprung 50 BB magazine which unscrews from the muzzle. It is 36 ½” overall length with a 17 ¼” barrel. It has an undamaged wood shoulder stock and fore stock. The shoulder stock has its original Daisy Medallion (illustrated). The metal work has manufacturer & patent information (all illustrated). The price includes UK delivery. 1966 "ORIGINAL" MODEL 50 .22 Air Rifle 199556 - 19956
A German ''Original'' model 50 .22 cal. underlever action air rifle (production began back in the 1953 and did not stop until the 80s; so, a long heritage and production standards were always kept to a high standard), with 'Tap Loader', with a waterproof 4x32 telescopic sight. There is no serial number apparent but 08/66 (August 1966) is imprinted to the cylinder. It is fitted with unfinished chequered wooden stock with a nice grain and rubber butt plate. The rifle is 45 inches overall. The model 50 is an underlever spring-piston air rifle that came in both .177 and .22 calibres, with the .22 not being as common, since the 50 was seen as a target gun and Europeans were already using .177 calibres for that. Maybe .22 was a nod toward marketing Americans, with whom the larger calibre was much more favoured. The 50 was made between 1952 and the 1980’s. The rifle retains around 75% of its original blueing and would benefit from a refurb. The butt plate and pistol grip have age related marks. Made in Germany and ‘Original Mod 50’ is marked to the cylinder. The rifle cocks, loads and fires with a nice tight action. The price includes UK delivery. NB As a post 1939 Air Weapon the restrictions of the Crime Reduction Act apply to the sale and delivery of this item. 19956.

1978 German made ‘ORIGINAL' MODEL 35 .22 Air Rifle. 19957. - 19957
Diana's model 35 was one of the most powerful spring guns in the 1950s. It was made until 1987. Dianas were sold in the U.S. under many brand names, which confuses collectors. The Winchester 435 is really a Diana 35. They were also known as Original 35, Peerless 35, Geco 35, Beeman 200 and HY-Score 809. The Diana 35 was the older brother of the Diana 27. It was produced from 1953 through to 1964, when it was revised into a modernised version that lasted through to 1987. So, that’s 1953-1964 for the first run, of which there are several variations and 1965-1987. The serial Number on this rifle is -013180, and is dated 03/78 (March 1978). It has and adjustable rear sight and shrouded fore sight *slight damage*. The woodwork is in good condition for its age with some use related marks. The rifle retains 90% of its bluing. ‘Original Mod.35’ is stamped to the top of the barrel and ‘Made in Germany to the left hand side of the barrel. The rifle cocks, loads and fires with a nice tight action. The price includes UK delivery. The EM-GE LP3a (pre WW2 name of this company was Moritz and Gersteuber. This example is boxed and complete with all the original accessories and papers. To cock the pistol insert the brass plug cocking block into the muzzle of the barrel and break the barrel. The ‘micrometric’ sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. When a shot is taken, the washer between barrel and compression tube is pressed against the barrel automatically, so no compressed air is lost.
