MINT, 1962-1966 B.S.A Meteor MK II .22 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle 'TA' Prefix Serial Number. AI 660 - AI 660 Birmingham Small Arms introduced the Meteor Air rifle in both .177 & .22 calibre in 1959. MK 1 rifles were produced until 1962 when the MK II model was introduced. MK II production continued until 1968. The small frame rifle is 41 ½” overall with an 18" barrel. This is a near mint example of the MK II Meteor in .22 Calibre. It has a mint undamaged light coloured wood stock with grooved butt end. The metal work is undamaged and retains all of its original blueing. It has a block and blade fore sight. The top of the adjustable rear sight is stamped with the BSA piled arms logo and the top of the cylinder forward of its 2 raised scope mounts is crisply marked 'BSA Meteor' with stylised arrow logo. The rifle's serial number 'TA27572' is stamped on the underside of the barrel block. The 'TA' prefix serial number dates the rifle to between 1962 and 1966 (see page 39 of Collector's Guide to Air Rifles By Hiller). The top of the barrel is stamped ‘BSA Guns Ltd England’ together with ‘.22 Cal’ and BSA piled arms logo. The barrel's bore is clean with crisp rifling and it cocks and fires as it should with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery. 1947-1954 Nickel Plated German Made U.S.A Patent Dolla Mark II ‘Gat Type’ .177 Calibre Smoothbore Air Pistol. Sn 8770 - 8770 A Dolla Mark II Pop out Air pistol in .177 Calibre (Smoothbore). These U.S. Patent German Manufactured pistol’s were made between 1947 and 1954. Our example is in good fully functioning condition with a few wear marks to the nickel plated finish to be expected with age. The barrel’s smoothbore is clean. The varnished wood one piece grip is undamaged. The left and right sides of the grip have brass discs embossed ‘The Dolla Mark II’ inset.The butt is stamped ‘Reg U.S Pat Made in Germany’. Similar to Gat air pistols the barrel is pushed in until it locks in place cocking the pistol for firing. A screw pin at the rear of the barrel cylinder is unscrewed and a pellet inserted the pin is the screwed back into place ready for firing The pistol cocks and fires as it should. 1930's Pre-War German Militia .177 Calibre, Break Action Air Rifle Sn 15287 - 15287 This good .177 calibre German Militia air rifle was made a variety of German manufacturer's in the 1930's on the run up to WW2. It has all original metal with even patina & woodwork which has just the knocks bumps and bruises to be expected with age and use. This air rifle has no manufacturer or model marks but has a distinctive breech locking catch which is similar to the one used on the British Greener air rifle. The weapon fires with a strong spring action. It has a 19 ½” barrel and measures 43” overall length. 1974 To 1983 B.S.A. Airsporter MK VI .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle. AI 651 - AI 651 An excellent condition B.S.A, MK VI Airsporter, .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It is serial number GL 23003 which identifies it as a MK VI and dates it to between 1974 and 1983 (see Page 56 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The wood stock with rubber embossed BSA logo recoil pad and metal work are in excellent undamaged condition. The top of the air chamber is correctly marked with the ‘B.S.A. Airsporter' gold coloured electroplated legend and is grooved for telescopic sight. The top of the barrel is crisply stamped with 'B.S.A. Guns Ltd, England .22 Cal' and with the B.S.A 'stacked rifles' logo. It is under lever cocking and has an adjustable rear sight. Boxed, Pre 1958, Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Original Empty Webley Paper Pellet Packet. AI 639 - AI 639 This is an excellent boxed Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air pistol (see pages 95 to 108 of Bruce’s book ‘Webley Air pistols’). It is undamaged with original finish and black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4 Made In England' (In 1958 Webley relocated their factory from Birmingham 4 to Birmingham 21 Postal area. Weapons produced after 1958 were marked either Birmingham or Birmingham 21). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '768'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. It is contained in its original Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham 4 address. It has a ‘B’ prefix serial number ‘B67754’ which dates it to between 1946-1949 (see Page 34 of Hiller’s Book 'The Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork is undamaged undamaged condition and the metal retains some of its original finish. It has a 15" clean rifled barrel and measures 37 ½” overall. 1970's 'F' Series Webley Premier .22 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 11870:10 - 11870:10 Made C1975 'F' series Webley Premier air pistols were the last of the 1964-1975 era forged steel Premiers to be produced before introduction of the redesigned Webley Premier made of aluminium materials (see page 120/121 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). This 'F' series Webley Premier is in .22 calibre. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left grip has some scuffs consistent with age and use. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with number '745'. It has a blade foresight and the forward barrel block is stamped '.22'(calibre). It has an adjustable rear sight. It is also stamped on the left side of the grip near to the grip 'F' (series). It is serial number GL 65624 which identifies it as a MK VI and dates it to between 1974 and 1983 (see Page 56 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles').
