1946-1956 British Accles & Shelvoke Ltd 'Acvoke' Break Action .177 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 12995 - 12995 Accles and Shelvoke Ltd of Birmingham manufactured 'Acvoke' Air Pistols and Slaughterhouse Weapons. Acvoke .177 air pistols were produced from 1946 to 1956 (see page 12 of Collectors Guide To Air Pistols 3rd Edition by Hiller). It has an innovational concentric design similar to the Earlier German 'Tell II' Air pistol but on a larger more powerful scale. Before cocking the pistol a lever is swung out from the rear grip to afford mechanical advantage while the cocking operation is performed. This is an excellent example of the .177 Calibre, Accles & Shelvoke Ltd break action Air Pistol. It has black plastic, ribbed slab grips. All metal and grips are undamaged. The grips are embossed with the 'Acvoke' trademark logo. The back strap is stamped 'Pellet Gauge' & has the correct .177 calibre pellet gauge hole. The breech plate is correctly stamped with the manufacturer's detail 'Accles and Shelvoke Ltd, Patent Applied For, Birmingham Eng ( England)'. It loads cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. Price includes UK delivery. 1930's Pre-War German Militia .177 Calibre, Break Action Air Rifle Sn 15287 - 15287 This good .177 calibre German Militia air rifle was made a variety of German manufacturer's in the 1930's on the run up to WW2. It has all original metal with even patina & woodwork which has just the knocks bumps and bruises to be expected with age and use. This air rifle has no manufacturer or model marks but has a distinctive breech locking catch which is similar to the one used on the British Greener air rifle. The weapon fires with a strong spring action. It has a 19 ½” barrel and measures 43” overall length. 1974 To 1983 B.S.A. Airsporter MK VI .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle. AI 651 - AI 651 An excellent condition B.S.A, MK VI Airsporter, .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It is serial number GL 23003 which identifies it as a MK VI and dates it to between 1974 and 1983 (see Page 56 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The wood stock with rubber embossed BSA logo recoil pad and metal work are in excellent undamaged condition. The top of the air chamber is correctly marked with the ‘B.S.A. Airsporter' gold coloured electroplated legend and is grooved for telescopic sight. The top of the barrel is crisply stamped with 'B.S.A. Guns Ltd, England .22 Cal' and with the B.S.A 'stacked rifles' logo. It is under lever cocking and has an adjustable rear sight. It has a clean bore with crisp rifling and the loading and firing actions work perfectly. Price includes UK delivery. Boxed, Pre 1958, Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Original Empty Webley Paper Pellet Packet. AI 639 - AI 639 This is an excellent boxed Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air pistol (see pages 95 to 108 of Bruce’s book ‘Webley Air pistols’). It is undamaged with original finish and black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4 Made In England' (In 1958 Webley relocated their factory from Birmingham 4 to Birmingham 21 Postal area. Weapons produced after 1958 were marked either Birmingham or Birmingham 21). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '768'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. It is contained in its original Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham 4 address. Original Webley Junior Series 2 instructions are adhered to the inside of the lid of the box. The box also contains an original empty Webley paper pellet packet which is torn. 1946-1949, B.S.A Cadet .177 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle. Sn 13815 - 13815 This is a B.S.A Cadet .177 Calibre Air Rifle. It has a ‘B’ prefix serial number ‘B67754’ which dates it to between 1946-1949 (see Page 34 of Hiller’s Book 'The Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork is undamaged undamaged condition and the metal retains some of its original finish. It has a 15" clean rifled barrel and measures 37 ½” overall. It has a winged blade fore sight and fixed rear sight. The stock is crisply impressed with the BSA Legend (illustrated). The loading and firing actions work as they should. 1970's 'F' Series Webley Premier .22 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 11870:10 - 11870:10 Made C1975 'F' series Webley Premier air pistols were the last of the 1964-1975 era forged steel Premiers to be produced before introduction of the redesigned Webley Premier made of aluminium materials (see page 120/121 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). This 'F' series Webley Premier is in .22 calibre. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left grip has some scuffs consistent with age and use. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with number '745'. It has a blade foresight and the forward barrel block is stamped '.22'(calibre). It has an adjustable rear sight. It is also stamped on the left side of the grip near to the grip 'F' (series). Pre 1958 Webley Senior .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Brown Grips. Sn 10675 - 10675 This is a nice Webley Senior .177 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham 4' and 'Webley Patents' (The pre 1958 area code 4 was removed from pistols post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). The forward barrel block is stamped '.177' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with number '555'.
