This is a Webley Junior .177 Calibre Air pistol firing at 1.61 ft/lbs. It is undamaged with original finish which has patches of wear to the cylinder consistent with age and use. It has black plastic grips with embossed webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham Made In England' (In 1958 Webley relocated their factory from Birmingham 4 to Birmingham 21 Postal area. Weapons produced after 1958 were marked either Birmingham or Birmingham 21). The front of the cylinder is stamped with number '1316'. Boxed, Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol. AI 619 - AI 619
The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip (see 119/120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is a very good Boxed, Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol. It is undamaged with original finish and black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder has its original manufacturer's sticker 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Premier, Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with batch number '753' and under the grip 'E' (Series) together with matching batch number. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in it's original cardboard box with Webley labelling & imagery. Boxed, Early 1970's Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol & Accessories. AI 615 - AI 615
The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip together with serial number. Early examples had Brown Plastic Grips (see 119/120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is an excellent example in .22 Calibre. It is undamaged, but shows some sign of wear and has the early brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott ltd Birmingham'. The frame near the left grip is stamped with the correct large E (Series designation). The front of the cylinder is stamped with number ‘574’. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in its original cardboard box which has some slight damage, with Webley labelling & imagery. 1938-1939 B.S.A 'Breakdown Pattern’ .177 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle With ‘B’ Prefix Serial Number. Sn 18697 - 18697
This is a good BSA Breakdown Pattern .177 Calibre Air Rifle. It has an 18 ½” clean rifled barrel and measures 41 ½” overall. It has an adjustable trigger, blade foresight and adjustable dial rear sight. In front of the rear sight is the BSA piled arms trademark. The metal work has original blue finish. The original wood stock has chequered BSA logo panels. One side of the stock wrist has a old, fine, stable and secure crack which can be seen in image 2. The stock has a grooved butt with trap. The underside of the stock is impressed ‘v32’. The left side of the trigger block bears the serial number 'B8091' which dates it’s manufacturer to 1938-39 (see page 30 of ‘The Collectors Guide To Air Rifles’ By Hiller). Boxed, Post 1958 Webley Senior .22 Calibre Air Pistol With Brown Grips. AI 612 - AI 612
This is a nice Webley Senior .22 Calibre Air pistol. It has slight damage to the brown plastic grips on the bottom rear corner, but both are still tight and in usable condition. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder highlighted in original white paint. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham and with Webley UK & International Patents'. The forward barrel block is stamped '.22' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with serial number '848'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in its original Webley cardboard box with Pre 1958 Birmingham address Webley labelling & imagery (The pre 1958 Birmingham area code 4 was removed post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). Weapons produced after 1958 were marked either Birmingham or Birmingham 21). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '2190'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. It is contained in its original Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham 4 address. 1950's -1983 West German Diana USA Marketed Gecado Model 50 .177 Calibre Under Lever Action Air Rifle With Rhino 4x40 Image Moving Shockproof Telescopic Sight. AI 512 - AI 512
These rifles were made by the West German Company Diana from the mid-1950's to about 1983. The Model was marketed as the Gecado Model 50 for the American market. This is a Diana Gecado Model 50 air rifle. It has an undamaged wood stock finger grooves and ribbed plastic butt plate. It has a 19 ½” stepped rifled barrel (45 ½” overall). The weapon retains its original blue finish. It’s open sights are absent apart from the block of the blade fore sight. It has the correct loading port tap lever. The top of the cylinder is crisply marked Gecado Mod. 50'. It is also stamped 'Made In Germany'. There is no visible date mark normally found on the cylinder. The rifle cocks and fires crisply. It is fitted with Rhino 4x40 Image Moving Shockproof Telescopic Sight. The optics of the sight are excellent. The price includes UK delivery. Webley VMX .177 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle With Classic Wood Stock, & AGS 3-9x40 Mil-Dot Telescopic Sight. Sn 18264 - 18264
These air rifles are made with classic wood stock or black synthetic stock. Our example has the classic wood stock and has all of the VMX features including: Powr-Lok mainspring, a 2-stage adjustable trigger, automatic safety catch, arrestor block, chequered ambidextrous hardwood stock, cocking aid and fibre optic adjustable open sights. The rifle has a 17” rifled barrel and measures 43” overall. The rifle's bore is clean with crisp rifling. The rifle is fitted with an AGS 3-9x40 Mil-Dot Telescopic Sight. All optics of the sight are excellent and it has its original lens protector covers with windows to allow quick sighting in the field. The lens covers are joined by elasticated cords. 1960’s Webley Mark 3, .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle. AI 510. - AI 510
Webley introduced their MK 3 series of air rifles in 1947. In 1961 Webley began producing Webley MK 3 air rifles with a telescopic sight rail spot welded to the top of the air cylinder (see Page 237 to 243 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork and metal work of this example are in excellent undamaged condition. The stock has the correct inlaid 'Webley' roundel. It has an 18 ¾” clean rifled barrel with loading tap and measures 43" overall. The underlever is stamped with serial number 'A190'. The air chamber has its original spot welded sight rail and the weapon is marked with model and manufacturer detail (illustrated). It has a block & blade fore sight and adjustable dial rear sight. The Weihrauch name has been associated with solid build quality and reliability for many years. Weihrauch’s range of solid, accurate springers have been a popular choice for airgunners. The HW 35 was introduced in the early 1950s and production continued into the modern era. This is Weihrauch HW35 is in .177 calibre. The rifle has a 19 ½” barrel and original undamaged wood with figured cheek piece and rubber shoulder recoil pad. The metal work retains its original blueing which has light blemishes and wear consistent with field use. It has a shrouded target fore sight, adjustable rear sight & is fitted with a Vixen Waterproof 4x32 Telescopic Sight. The scope has removable lens protector covers. The optics are excellent.
