The Gamo Hunter 440 is a classic styled air carbine, composed of a minimalist last generation barrel and a water-based varnished wooden stock that has been laser engraved to provide a perfect grip. This ‘modern classic’ is a very balanced weapon that quickly adapts to all audiences due to its reliable optic fibre open sight, which makes it a really good option both for short-distance target shooting and plinking disciplines. This example comes in its original box with instructions/manual and scope rail. The rifle is in near mint condition with only minor suggestions of use. The Hawke Vantage 2-7x 32 scope comes boxed with end caps/covers and doesn’t appear to have been used *one rail clamp missing* (The Hawke Vantage 2-7×32 AO mil Dot scope offers a scope with mil Dot reticule system. 1920 Early B.S.A. Standard No. 1 Model (Aka 'L' or Light/ Ladies Model) .177 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle With 14 ¼” Stock. 20775. - 20775
This is an excellent B.S.A. Standard No. 1 Model 177 calibre, under lever air rifle. Also known as the 'L' or Ladies/ Light model it measures 39 ½” overall with a 17" rifled barrel. Its original near undamaged wood stock has chequered panels at the pistol grip *slight nick to the top*. It has a ribbed butt with trap. The underside of the stock is impressed ’14 ¼’ (inches). The rifle has a pinched blade fore sight and adjustable dial rear sight. The metal work is undamaged *slight rub to the cocking lever* with original blue finish and is crisply stamped with the correct 'L' prefix serial number on the trigger block 'L3628' which dates it to 1920 (See pages 107-112 of The book of BSA air rifle by John Milewski). The top of the barrel is laser etched ‘’The BSA Standard Air Rifle .177 Bore (No1) The Birmingham Arms Co Ltd’ with the BSA small arms piled logo and a list of patented sole makers, see images. **SOLD**7/5**C1922 BSA Standard Model 2 .22 Underlever Air Rifle with ‘S’ prefix. AI 907. - AI 907
The serial No S16248 dates this rifle to circa: 1922. When mention is made of the BSA Standard No1 and Standard No2 spring to mind., but it should be remembered that BSA referred to their full length .177 and .22 air rifles as the standard. In 1907 BSA used the term ‘ordinary pattern’ to differentiate the full length .177 from the light pattern, and by 1909 the company was calling the full length rifles the standard pattern. This example is in fine condition with some blueing missing to expose the nice metalwork. It has the usual BSA wording to the metalwork. The wooden stock is showing minor signs of age related wear and is the correct pre WWII item *slight damage to the top of the stock. The rifle has been chronographed at 9.97 ft/lbs and cocks, loads and fires as it should. **RARE**FACTORY SPECIAL ORDER NICKEL OR CHROME PLATED**Early 1970's Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 20709:34 - 20709:34
The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip together with serial number. Early examples had Brown Plastic Grips (see 119/120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is a rare to find Webley Factory special order nickel or chrome plated example in .22 Calibre. It is undamaged and has the early brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The original plated finish has just small areas of age related tarnish. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England' and with the Company’s name and Birmingham address. The barrel block has calibre detail .22. The frame is stamped with the correct ‘E’ (Series designation). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial or batch number ‘852’. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight. *Excellent* (Powerful 11.94 ft/lb) c1977 Weihrauch HW 35 .22 Air Rifle. AI 904. - AI 904
The Weihrauch name has been associated with solid build quality and reliability for many years. Weihrauch’s range of solid, accurate springers have been a popular choice for airgunners. The HW 35 was introduced in the early 1950s and production continued into the modern era. This is Weihrauch HW35 is in .22 calibre. The rifle has a 19 ½” barrel and original undamaged wood with rubber shoulder recoil pad. The metal work retains its original blueing which has next to no blemishes and wear that would be consistent with field use. It has a shrouded target fore sight, adjustable rear sight. The barrel block is marked with model and calibre detail and features the correct barrel locking lever. The rifle is serial number 681978 (according to Weihrauch site dates it to 1977). DIANA MODEL 23 .177 Air Rifle. 20772:10 - 20772:10
This Diana Model 23 is marked ‘Made in Great Britain’ with the Diana trademark on the cylinder (which later changed to British Made), these were made by Millard Bros Ltd in Motherwell, Lanarkshire between the late 1940's and 1974, it's marking indicates it was from the earlier period of manufacture, it has been re-blued at some point in its lifetime. The barrel shows some pitting underneath the paint but which has the correct V blade sights. The stock has retained most of its varnished finish and is relatively mark free; it bears no visible serial number. The rifle cocks, loads and fires with a nice tight action. The stocks grip has the odd age related mark. Weighing 1.75kg and 95 cm in length it was clearly aimed at the ‘Childs first gun’ market. The price includes UK delivery. An excellent condition early B.S.A Lightning .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It has faint serial number on the trigger block which appears to be ‘DS14402’ which is difficult to date. The woodwork and metal work are all original & in excellent undamaged condition *slight rub to the metalwork to the rear of the cylinder and top of the barrel*. It has break barrel cocking and has a railed foresight & comes with a Walther 6X42 scope mounted on a rail with end caps. The top of the air cylinder has a rail for the telescopic sight. 1974-78 BSA Meteor (Super) MK. IV .22 Air Rifle with BSA Scope and Bag. 20772:1. - 20772:1
This is a very nice example of the MK IV Super Meteor in .22 Calibre. The small frame rifle is 41 ½” overall with an 18 ¼” barrel. It has a wood stock with ribbed butt *slight marks to the left hand side fore, middle and butt*. The metal work retains all of its original blue finish. It has a ramp block and blade fore sight & adjustable target rear sight. The top of the cylinder is milled for scope mounts and is correctly marked 'BSA Meteor' (without arrows as found on standard Meteors). It has the correct drilled hole for sight relocation. The rifle's serial number 'TG31497' which identifies the rifle as a .22 calibre MK IV Meteor (see page 44 of The Collector's Guide to Air Rifles by Hiller). The barrel's bore is clean with crisp rifling and it cocks and fires as it should with a strong spring action. The rifle comes with an original BSA scope and end caps. The price includes UK delivery. SOLD SOLD (29/05) *Excellent* Post 1975, Boxed Webley Osprey .22 Caliber Side Lever Air Rifle. Sn 20667. - 20667
Webley Osprey Air Rifles were introduced in 1975 and manufactured by Webley & Scott at Frankley Industrial Park, Birmingham (see page 246 of Hiller's book The Collector's Guide To Air Rifles). This is an excellent example in .22 calibre. It is 43 ½”overall with a 19” barrels. It has a shrouded blade fore sight, adjustable rear sight and is side lever loading. It has excellent metal throughout with all original finish, the wood work is excellent. The stock has a mint Webley signature rubber recoil pad. The cylinder housing is stamped with .22 Calibre details, serial number '10225'. The top of the cylinder is grooved for telescopic sight. Between the grooves is deeply stamped & highlighted 'Webley Osprey'. The rifle still has the original safety sticker to the right hand side. The box is complete with polystyrene insert and cardboard sleeve. The rifle cocks, loads fires with a strong spring action. The price for this near mint boxed rifle includes UK delivery.
