Post 1958 Webley Junior ‘Series 2’ .177 Calibre Air Pistol. AI 631 - AI 631 This is an excellent boxed Webley Junior Series .177 Calibre Air pistol (see pages 95 to 108 of Bruce’s book ‘Webley Air pistols’). It is undamaged with original finish and black plastic grips *hairline crack to right hand side lower-no movement* with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham Made in England' (In 1958 Webley relocated their factory from Birmingham 4 to Birmingham 21 Postal area. Weapons produced after 1958 were marked either Birmingham or Birmingham 21). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '2176'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery. **Rare** Pre-War Lincoln Jeffries H Break Action .177 Air Rifle with Walnut Stock. 20966. - 20966 B.S.A. Lincoln Jeffries Patent Air rifles were introduced in 1905. The Lincoln & 'H' or Heavy model were produced between 1905-1908. All of the examples we have seen have been underlever variants & we cannot find any reference for break action variants. This example of the Lincoln Jeffries has the characteristics and markings of the Lincoln model apart from the fact that it is break action, rather than underlever as illustrated and described on page 17 of The Collector's Guide To Air Rifles By Hiller. The metal work has even blue finish and it has all original wood stock with chequered panel straight hand stock and chequered butt. The rifle measures 39 ¾” overall with an 18 ¾” two stage barrel. It has a blade foresight and ‘v’ notch plate rear sight. It loads and fires correctly with a good spring action. The serial No 8153 is above the adjustable trigger. The dark Walnut stock and chequered straight hand grip have very minor age related marks, Lincoln Jeffries and trademark are on imprinted to the right hand side of the stock. *Mint* German Made Diana 34 EMS Classic .22 Air Rifle. AI 720. - AI 720 This German made Diana 34 EMS Classic .22 air rifle has a two stage adjustable trigger with an automatic safety catch. It has a 3/8” milled dovetail rail and Tru-glo sights. It has a precision steel rifled barrel with adjustable alignment. The wooden stock is near perfect, and the metalwork is just as nice. The serial No is; ‘25065483’ which is stamped to the side of the barrel as is ‘Diana CAL 5.5/.22’. The Diana Logo along with ‘Diana 34 EMS’ is laser etched to the top of the cylinder. Firing at 10.68 ft/lbs the rifle cocks loads and fires with a nice tight action. The price includes UK delivery. German Weihrauch Hull Cartridge Import HW99S (Sport Trigger) .22 Calibre Break Action Carbine Size Air Rifle With Simmons 4x32 Telescopic Sight. AI 719. - AI 719 The Weihrauch name has been associated with solid build quality and reliability for many years. Ever since the HW80 transformed the hunting rifle market, Weihrauch’s range of solid, accurate springers have been a popular choice for airgunners. This is an excellent Weihrauch HW99S in .22 calibre. The ‘S’ designation refers to the fact that these rifles have an adjustable sports trigger. The carbine size rifle has a 15 ½” barrel and measures 41 ½” overall. It has superb woodwork *very slight mark to the rear of the left hand side and the fore of the right hand side* and rubber shoulder recoil pad. The metal work retains its original blueing and the top of the Air cylinder is grooved for telescopic sight. The barrel block is marked with model and calibre detail. It is serial number '1561043' which dates the gun to around 2001-2002. The rifle cocks loads and fires with a nice tight action. It has a shrouded fore sight and adjustable rear sight. It is also fitted with a Simmons 4x32 Telescopic Sight. The sight is stamped with manufacturer and magnification detail. The optics of the sight are excellent. The price includes UK delivery. Post WW2 British Milbro Hector (Diana Model No.1) Break Action .177 Calibre Air Rifle. AI 592. - AI 592 The German Diana Model 1 was introduced in the 1920’s and was in production until 1945. The Diana trademark moved to Scotland with Milbro after WWII as part of the reparations. Post WW2 until C1952 the Diana No.1 rifles were retailed under the name ‘Hector’. The low power weapons were produced as a starter air weapon for Children and Youths. This is a nice example of the British made Hector. It measures 31" overall with a 17 ½ " barrel which has the correct 8 ½ ", screw in, barrel tube insert. It has an undamaged wooden stock and 'chromed' tinplate frame & barrel. To load the weapon the barrel's removable tube insert is loaded with a pellet and it is cocked break-barrel style with two sprung wire latches that keep the action in place. The rifle has its original finish and its cocking and firing action work as they should. The weapon has a blade foresight and fixed plate with notch rear sight. The top of the barrel is stamped with the 'Hector' model name and legend together with 'Regd, Made In England'. Price includes UK delivery. Boxed, Pre 1939 Webley Junior Series 1 .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Box Of Beatall Waisted .177 Calibre Lead Pellets. Sn 17328:1. - 17328:1 Post WW2 Junior Series 2 air pistol’s had shorter barrels than the pre War Series 1 Juniors. They also has plastic stock plates rather than tin stock plates which were fitted to 1st Series pistols. This is a pre War boxed Webley Junior Series 1 .177 Calibre Air pistol (see page 96 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). It is undamaged and finished in the white. It has the correct ribbed tin plate grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Patented In Great Britain No 219872 And All Principal Countries’. The left side of the cylinder is also marked ‘Made In England’. The right side has ‘Webley & Scott LTD Birmingham’. The frame is numbered ‘J13446’. ‘446’ is repeated on the front of the cylinder. There is an indistinct inspection mark on the barrel block which can be seen in the images. It has a blade foresight, adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires as it should. It is contained in its original Brown background Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham address. Original Webley instructions are adhered to the inside of the box lid. The box contains a small cardboard ‘Beatall Waisted’ pellet box which contains a quantity of .177 calibre lead pellets. Matching Numbers, 1930's Webley Service MK II 2nd Series/ Type .22 Calibre Air Rifle. 20536. - 20536 An excellent condition, 1930's, Webley Service MK II 2nd Series/ Type, air rifle in .22 calibre (see pages 32-37 of Christopher Thrale's book Webley Air Rifles 1925-2005). The Left side of the cylinder is stamped 'WEBLEY SERVICE AIR RIFLE MK II". 'MANUFACTURED BY WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD, BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND and with the Webley 'winged pellet logo'. The barrel is stamped '.22 CALIBRE' It has the Great Britain, USA, Spain, Germany and Canada 1925 patents stamped on the Right Side of the cylinder together with the correct patent Number '371548'. The metalwork is good overall but showing signs of pitting to the barrel and the underside of the cylinder. It has an excellent stock *very minor age related wear* with chequered panel neck and ribbed horn butt plate which has a minor 3mm chip. The weapon is serial number 'S2588' which is stamped to the rear of the trigger guard and replicated on the barrel *see images. The weapon cocks loads and shoots as it should. 1911-1914 BSA Air Rifle Light Model (Improved Model D) .177 Calibre Underlever Air Rifle Pistol Grip Stock Variant . AI 707. - AI 707 This is a very good original BSA Improved Model D Air Rifle. These rifles were made with both straight hand and pistol grip stocks and in different variations between 1905 and 1914 (see pages 20- 25 of the book ‘A Collectors Guide To Air Rifles’ By Hiller & pages 50-56 of The Book of the BSA Air Rifle by John Milewski). This example has its original pistol grip wood stock with correct chequered panels on the grip. The stock has a steel butt plate. The cocking arm has a ribbed release lever on the left side. It has a 17” rifled barrel and measures 39 ¼” overall. It has a blade foresight and adjustable dial rear sight. The metal work has even patina throughout. The air cylinder has BSA Improved Model D detail (illustrated). The left side of the weapon bears the serial number 63737. 403 is on the underside of the barrel. The loading port area is marked ‘Load’ and has the BSA piled arms logo. The underside of the cocking lever ‘BSA Patents 8761-04 25783-10 RD479972’. C1957 Webley Mk III .22 Air Rifle. AI 701. - AI 701 The Webley Mk III was introduced in 1947 and was of a completely different design to the Mk II Service. In some ways it was a step backwards. The fixed-barrel, underlever, tap-loading configuration was very similar to that of pre-war BSAs; with design origins back to 1905, but with an extended stock to provide a wooden for-end. The Mk III initially included a sophisticated double-pull trigger, as per the Diana 45, but this proved fragile and only about 2,500 were made before it was replaced by a simplified, more robust mechanism. Webley, for reasons best known to itself, moved the loading tap lever to the right-hand side of the action for the Mk III. The blueing on the barrel and action is in good condition. It does have some marks mainly to the Rear of the cylinder and cocking lever where the blueing has worn but overall it is in good order. The stock is in generally good order, possibly birch *there is indentation on the pistol grip/stock grip and the previous owners initials on the butt*. It does feature a very pleasing striped grain. The serial number is ‘24964’ which dates the rifle in between 1957 & 1961 (See page 243 of Dennis Hillers ‘A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles’. The rifle cocks, loads and fires with a nice tight action. The price includes UK delivery. 1960’s Webley Mark 3 .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle With ‘A’ Prefix Serial Number. AI 691 - AI 691 Webley introduced their Mark 3 series of air rifles in 1947. In 1961 Webley began producing Webley MK 3 air rifles with a telescopic sight rail spot welded to the top of the air cylinder (see Page 237 to 243 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The attractive tiger stripe hue woodwork and metal work of this example are in very good undamaged condition. The stock has a void inlaid roundel and a rubber recoil pad. It has an 18 ¾” clean rifled barrel with loading tap and measures 43 ½” overall. The underlever is stamped with serial number 'A 2585'. The air chamber has its original spot welded sight rail and the weapon is marked with model and manufacturer detail (illustrated). It has a shrouded block & blade fore sight and adjustable dial rear sight. The loading and firing actions work crisply. The price includes UK delivery.
