Original Nazi WWII Technical Emergency Corps ‘TeNo’ Armband – Technsiche Nothilife. N 109. - N 109
Technische Nothilfe (Technical Emergency Assistance) was a German organisation, which began as a strike breaker organisation after the First World War but developed into a volunteer emergency response unit. During the NSDAP period the TN became in charge of technical civil defence. The TN was founded on September 30, 1919, by Otto Lummitzsch with the stated purpose to protect and maintain vital & strategic facilities (e.g. gas works, water works, power stations, railways, post offices, agriculture concerns and food production activities). At the time (1919–1923), these vital infrastructure facilities were under threat from sabotage and attack during a period bordering on civil war, which was caused by the collapse of German economy following the end of World War I and exacerbated by a spate of politically motivated wildcat strikes, usually by left-wing elements. In effect they were strike-breakers. Measuring; 20 ½ cm x 12 cm. with age related staining, which adds to its patina. All of the stitching is intact. The price for this rare piece includes UK delivery. N 109.

*Original* Nazi Hitler Youth Osteinsatz (Eastern Deployment) Armband. N 108. - N 108
The Nazi party intended that the population under its control, and future generations, would have absolute loyalty to Adolf Hitler, the regime, and Nazi ideals. To accomplish this aim, complete indoctrination of children into Nazi ideology was a priority, and the youth of Nazi Germany were a particular focus of the Nazi regime’s propaganda. The Hitler Youth also formed a key part of the strategy, intending to grow its members into disciplined adults who knew and saw the world as dictated by the Nazi regime. The roots of the Hitler Youth begin before the Nazi’s rise to power. From the 1920s children were targeted by the Nazi Party for exposure to their ideas, such as race consciousness. They were prepared for potential future entry into the SA; the Nazi Party’s paramilitary like organisation, the Storm Troopers (Sturmabteilung). Conformity and loyalty were of paramount importance. The Axis forces, led by Nazi Germany, began their advance into the Soviet Union under the codename Operation Barbarossa on 22 June 1941, the opening date of the Eastern Front. Initially, Soviet forces were unable to halt the Axis forces, which came close to Moscow. Despite their many attempts, the Axis failed to capture Moscow and soon focused on the oil fields in the Caucasus. German forces invaded the Caucasus under the Fall Blau ("Case Blue") plan on 28 June 1942. Measuring; 19 ½ x 13 cm. The price for this scarce piece includes UK delivery. N 108.

WW2 C1942-1944 German Army / Heer ‘DH’ Swiss Helios Shock Resistant, Nickel Plated Brass Cased Wristwatch With Stainless Steel Back Case & Original Leather Wrist Strap. MISC 855 - MISC 855
During World War 2 the German Military needed large numbers of timepieces and they turned to a wide range of Swiss watch manufacturers to supply them. While no official specification has been found by observation of thousands of examples it appears the contracts for these timepieces specified that the watches should be water resistant with a screw on case back that had 6 indentations; to allow a standard tool to be used to open the case back whoever the manufacturer, the dials were required to be black with luminous numerals and hands, with a small seconds dial at the six o’clock position and the movements shock protected. What evidence exists seems to indicate that the watches started to be supplied in 1942 when the demand outstripped the German watch industries ability to produce watches within Germany, especially as they increasingly turned to producing fuses and other war material and, although again there is little official evidence, the supply stopped in 1944 due to the increasing difficulties the Swiss watch industry had in obtaining raw materials. This is an original WW2 German Army Heer Swiss made "Helios" jewelled wristwatch. The German Army had special pocket and wristwatches for their Officers and special functions. (Deutsches Heer - German). The German Army. Letters DH designated the watches made in Switzerland under the military order for Germany during WW2. The watch face is black and is marked "Helios". The nickel plated brass case is factory nickel plated (some service wear to the nickel finish to be expected). The case has all the correct features of Heer watches. The back case with correct 6 slots for tool is marked "Stahlbowden (stainless) Wasserdicht (which means loosely translated watertight) D 20164 H". The D and H means Deutsche Heer (German Army) or Dienstuhr Heer (Service Timepiece Army). The watch has a clear glass and luminescent minute and hour hands. The watch has a second sub scale 60 second timer. The watch functions as it should but has not been serviced by us. The winder works as it should and alters the hour and minute hands. The watch has its original black leather strap with buckle. A very nice WW2 German Army service watch. The price includes UK delivery. MISC 855 (watch draw office)

WWII German Social Welfare Medal and Ribbon with German Red Cross Personal ID Card for a Johann Biller Dated 1939. N 184. - N 184
The Social Welfare Decoration (German: Ehrenzeichen für deutsche Volkspflege) was a German Civil Award created by Adolf Hitler on 1 May 1939 for services in the social sector. The decoration was issued in three classes and was awarded for a wide variety of service, in the social sector, to the German state. Qualifying service would have been with Winterhilfswerk, National Socialist People's Welfare, medical and rescue work, or care of foreign and ethnic Germans. As a replacement for the German Red Cross Decoration, it was conferred in four classes consisting of a white-enamelled gold Balkenkreuz with Reich eagle and swastika. A "Medal of Social Welfare" was also issued for lesser degrees of service, not warranting the higher presentation of a class award. The main requirement for the award was that the service rendered should be to the benefit of the civil population. Reinhard Heydrich was awarded the decoration for his running of the Gestapo in the 1930s and for providing "security" to the German people. The infamous Doctor Josef Mengele was also awarded the decoration in 1941, for providing medical services to wounded soldiers and civilians alike on the battlefields of the Eastern Front. The German Red Cross (GRC) is the national Red Cross Society in Germany. With 4 million members, it is the third largest Red Cross society in the world. The German Red Cross offers a wide range of services within and outside Germany. GRC provides 52 hospitals, elderly care (over 500 nursing homes and a mobile nursing care network of covering the entire country), care for children and youth (i.e. 1.300 kindergartens, a full range of social services for children). GRC also provides 75% of the blood supply and 60% of the emergency medical services in Germany, as well as first aid training. GRC headquarters provides international humanitarian aid (disaster management and development assistance) to over 50 countries across the world. The German Social Welfare Medal is in excellent condition along with its ribbon ‘Medal for German People's Pledge’.
