INERT DEACTIVATED. German WW2 MK151/20 Aircraft Cannon Barrel. - D 2014
INERT DEACTIVATED. The MK151 canon was an important aircraft in German aircraft during WW2. The cannon was developed during the 1940s to replace the drum fed FFM 20mm cannon fitted to the Messerschmitt Bf 109. The cannon was originally developed in 15mm calibre but this was dropped and the gun was developed as a 20 mm cannon called the MK 151/20. This weapon proved very effective, being a belt fed gun especially when used with the Meingeschloss high capacity projectiles. This is an original WW2, MK 151/20mm aircraft cannon barrel that has been recovered from a wrecked German aircraft. The barrel measures 43 ¼ inches in length and is stamped in front of the chamber MG151/20 2005 and 6994. The barrel is bent approximately halfway along its length where the barrel is knurled (See photographs), rendering the barrel incapable of discharging a projectile. This damage will have been caused by the aircraft impacting the ground or crashing. This damage renders the barrel deactivated by condition. The barrel has its mountings lugs to attach it to the gun at the breech. The price includes U.K. delivery, and no licence is required to possess this barrel in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display. (Under cannon in Armoury). D 2014

**EXTREMELY RARE & COMPLETE**Original Cased WW2 1943 Nazi German ‘G Gr Ger K98k’ Gewehrgranatgerät (Rifle Grenade Equipment) Grenade Launcher For Mauser K98k Infantry Rifles With One Inert Deactivated 1942 3cm HE Gewehr Sprenggranate Rifle Grenade. N 159 - N 159
In early 1942 The Nazi German Army introduced a grenade launcher, designated the ‘G Gr Ger K98k’ Gewehrgranatgerät or ‘rifle grenade equipment’, see pages 333 to 337 of The German K98k Rifle 1934-1945 by Law, page 335 of the book has a period photograph of a German rifleman preparing to fire a grenade from the G Gr Ger attached to his K98 rifle, the nose of the grenade can be seen protruding from the muzzle of the launcher & page 336 has a photograph of a squad of Waffen SS, catching their breath on the Normandy front. The date is 11 August, 1944. The rifleman left of centre has a grenade launcher affixed to his K98k (the photos are illustrated in our images). Our extremely rare ‘G Gr Ger K98k’ Gewehrgranatgerät (Rifle Grenade Equipment) Grenade Launcher is complete, with correct issue tool all contained in its original Nazi marked 1943 date leather carry case with shoulder strap. The sight and launcher were separate parts, the launcher itself being of two-piece construction comprising a clamping device and base and a threaded, rifled tube. The launcher slipped over the muzzle of the K98k and was secured by the clamping device behind the sight. The sight clamped around the stock and barrel between the receiver and the rear sight, and was secured by a large knurled tightening ring, attached to the right side of the sight mount. Range settings for 70, 100, 150, 200 and 250 metres were stamped on the rear of the sight, but after the sight was rotated to the desired range setting the sight had to be levelled, by means of the small bubble level mounted on the top of the sight body, before firing. The Gewehrgranatgerät (G Gr Ger K98k) was issued with a special tool to disassemble the two-piece launcher tube. Our tool is stamped with the correct ‘G Gr Ger’ designation and Nazi maker code ‘adp’. The sights and launchers are both stamped “G Gr Ger K98k”; the former on top of the clamp and the latter on the bottom of the base above Nazi manufacturer codes, waffenamt and Heer (army) acceptance marks. All metal is excellent with all original blue finish. The leather carrying case issued with the launcher, has a webbing shoulder strap for over-the-shoulder carry and a rear loop for wearing on the belt. A special tool was included, to remove the grenade launcher tube from its base. The leather is impressed with 1943 date, ‘G Gr Ger’ model designation and Waffenamt. All leather & stitching are clean & intact. The launcher is accompanied by 1 inert deactivated 1942 3cm Gewehr Sprenggranate Rifle Grenade. These grenades had a pre rifled bakelite base and were inserted into the muzzle of the launcher before firing with a special blank cartridge. The nose fuze with plunger is stamped around its circumference AZ 50/1 St mne (Nazi maker code) & 42 (1942) date. As a rifle accessory manufactured without any firing mechanism accompanied by an inert deactivated grenade the launcher does not require deactivation and no licence is required to own either the Launcher or the inert grenade in the UK. The price for this extremely rare piece includes UK delivery. N 159 (NB The K98k rifle illustrated in the images is not included but is available separately on this website stock number Sn 22901:6). Jim Greathead of Clanville, England, made, U.S. Under hammer Percussion Boot Pistol as used by Gamblers in the mid 19th Centuary. (1 of 750 made) **UK 2018 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn - 22786
The American under hammer percussion boot pistol was a favourite of American Gamblers during the mid 19th Century. These were easily concealable, and the lack of a hammer on the top of the pistol, combined with the curved bag grip, made them very easy to remove without snagging on anything. This is a very unusual hand made under hammer single shot .400 inch caliber muzzle loading black powder pistol made by Jim Greathead who was renowned for his hand made under hammer muzzle loading pistols which were often used in modern pistol competition. Jim made around 750 handmade pistols during the 1990's and being hand made each one is a little bit different. This pistol is of a very simple design, measuring 13 inches in length with a 7 inch part octagonal cannon style barrel with a .400 inch bore. The pistol is fitted with a simple fore and rear sight. The lock design is quite simple, with just a spring loaded hammer and trigger, which serve as the tumbler and sear as well. There is no provision for a half-cock or any type of safety, just a notch on the hammer where the trigger locks into the pistol. The pistol is quite heavy and has a pair of wooden grips held with a single screw. The barrel and breech retain much of their original blued finish. The pistol cocks, deactivated in 2018. The price for this unusual pistol includes UK delivery and deactivation certificate. Sn 22786

SOLD SOLD (03/06) Italian Colt Model 1873 Army Peacemaker Buntline Special .44 Calibre Single Action Six Shot Revolver With Blue & Colour Case Hardened Finish**UK 2004 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**Sn 22923 - 22923
The Colt M1873 Single Action Army/ Peacemaker was a single action revolver designed for the U.S. Government by Colt. The revolvers were adopted as the U.S. Army standard military service revolver until 1892 and were favoured by Early Law Enforcement Officers. The Colt Buntline Special was a long-barreled variant of the Colt Single Action Army revolver, which Stuart N. Lake described in his best-selling but largely fictionalized 1931 biography, Wyatt Earp: Frontier Marshal. According to Lake, the dime novelist Ned Buntline commissioned the production of five Buntline Specials. Lake described them as extra-long Colt Single Action Army revolvers. The Colt design lives on today in the form of quality live firing pistols true to the original Colt pistols, made in a variety of calibres from Italian manufacturers such as Pedersoli, Uberti, Pietta and Euroarms. This large frame Buntline .44 calibre revolver is side gate loading and has a captive ejector rod. The pistol retains all of its original blue & colour case hardened factory finish. It has undamaged wood grips. It has a 7 ½” barrel with blade foresight and the rear sight is a groove on top of the cylinder frame. The pistol measures 13” overall. The barrel is marked ‘Black Powder Only Cal .44 Made In Italy’. The pistol has proofs and 1871 -1872 patent detail as found on original Colt revolvers. The pistols serial number is E60746 which is stamped on the underside of the frame. Deactivated to UK specification in 2004 the pistol’s blued cylinder is cut and ringed and the barrel blocked, its sprung captive ejector rod moves and the side gate opens. The pistol cocks and dry fires correctly in single action. The price for this attractive large frame piece includes UK delivery and deactivation certificate. Sn 22923
