Nazi German Kriegsmarine Dagger With Etched Blade By Holler Solingen With Bullion Cord, Portepee & Scabbard. Sn 14288 - 14288
An original Nazi German Kriegsmarine Dagger with scabbard & cord with portepee. The dagger’s blade has blued and etched panels on both sides with Ships under sail scenes and Naval fouled anchor together with scroll work. The ricasso is crisply marked with the makers name and Logo 'FW Holler Solingen'. It has the distinctive Kriegsmarine 'Eagle Pommel, ornate cross guard with scabbard retaining button that works as it should and correct ivory hue resin grip with wire binding which is tight and secure. The dagger has its original bullion cord and portepee. The cord has some surface wear consistent with age and service use but is intact. It's original scabbard is decorated with a 'hammered' and etched design. The scabbard has 2 hanging ring mounts with Oak leaf decoration. The mounts are fitted with original hanging rings. RARE, ORIGINAL, Nazi German National Socialist Flying Corps NSFK (Nationalsozialistisches Flierkorps) Flyer’s Dagger & 1938 Dated Scabbard With Correct Hanger. Sn 14273 - 14273
The NSFK was a Nazi para-military organisation formed in April 1937 to replace the German Air Sports Formation which was dissolved in order to bring all civilian aviation activities under Nazi control. The primary function of the NSFK was to organise the pre-military training personnel destined for the Luftwaffe. On the outbreak of WW2 they also took on the responsibility of training fixed wing & glider pilots and parachutists. This is an original NSFK flyer’s dagger (see pages 89 to 91 of the book ‘collecting the edged weapons of the third reich Vol 1’ by Johnson where these daggers are described as rare). It has the correct nickel plated fittings with stylised wing cross guard which has a central black swastika on both sides. It has a stepped pommel and dark blue leather bound handle. It has a 7” clean double edged dagger blade crisply marked by the manufacturer SMF (Stocker & Co) Solingen together with trade mark. The dagger measures 12” overall length. Its original scabbard is bound in dark blue leather and has a nickel plated throat mount with single hanging ring and chape with ball end. The throat mount is crisply stamped with the NSFK winged Swastika and number ‘F.38’ most likely a date code (February 1938). One edge of the cross guard has a small 'K' mark most likely a manufacturer's inspection mark. The hanging ring is fitted with its original correct dark blue leather tab hanger with nickel plated sprung hanging clip. The tab has 2 void oval nickel plated discs riveted to it. MINT, Boxed, Hand Made German Puma 'Original Bowie' Knife With Stainless Steel Blade, Scabbard With Thigh Cord & Puma Certificate. Sn 14267 - 14267
A superb condition, hand made, boxed German, Puma 'Original Bowie' Knife complete with Puma brown leather scabbard. This knife is in, as new, condition. It has beautiful Stag horn rugged grips with lanyard hole and stainless steel hilt. It has a 6 ½” pristine stainless steel Bowie blade which is crisply etched with the 'Puma legend' and '116396 HANDMADE PUMA ORIGINAL BOWIE, GERMANY, STAINLESS’ & serial number ‘202/RC'. The Knife measures 11” overall and is complete with its mint brown leather scabbard with large belt loop and retaing strap with press stud fastener. Both the hanging loop and the bottom edge of the sheath are fitted with leather cords for securing to the belt and the leg of the wearer. The front of the scabbard has the Puma trademark impressed. The rear is impressed with product code ‘99 68 75’. The knife and scabbard are contained in their original classic black cardboard box adorned with the iconic Puma trade marks and logos. A German Fighting/Trench Knife in the form used by German troops in WW1. The knife has a clean 6” blade with medial ridge & leather hilt washer. It measures 10 ¾” overall. The blade is crisply marked "Gottleib Hammesfahr Solingen Foche" on one side and has a small Imperial Crown Inspection mark on the reverse. The grips are wooden with typical nine diagonally carved grooves. The grips are secured with 2 rivets. SOLD SOLD (LAY-AWAY) RARE, RHOM NAME ONLY ERASED, Nazi German 1933 Pattern SA Dagger By Pack & Sohn Solingen With Motto Etched Blade & Friendship Inscription & Scabbard. Sn 14227 - 14227
The name of the Nazi SA leader & friend of Hitler, Ernst Rohm together with 'Friendship' motto was inscribed on the blades of some SA daggers. In 1934 Rohm was accused of Treason against Hitler and he was executed. After Rohm's death Hitler ordered Rohm's name to be removed from all blades. This is an original 1933 pattern SA dagger and scabbard in excellent condition. The wooden grips are undamaged. The German National Emblem and 'SA' roundel are perfectly fitted. It has a Nickel plated cross guard stamped 'He', & pommel. One side of its clean blade has the correct "Alles Fur Deutschland" inscription. The other side has the correct friendship inscription with just the Ernst Rhom name contemporarily removed as per Hitler’s order and shows areas of rubbing where this process has taken place. Many of these daggers had both the friendship inscription and name removed. The removal has affected the manufacturers stamp near to the hilt which is partially visible ‘E. P*** S’ (Ernst Pack & Sohn) Solingen together with ‘man with hammer’ trademark. The dagger is complete with its original brown metal scabbard with nickel plated chape and locket. This is an original Imperial German era Deer hunting skinning knife with original sheath. It has a Stag Horn handle with plain Silver pommel cap. It also has a Silver ferrule ornately engraved with an Oak leaf design. The knife has a 4" single edged blade with integral finger guard and is crisply marked on one side by the manufacturer or retailer ‘Stephan Nenning Munchen’. The blade is undamaged and has staining consistent with age. There is no damage to the blade and the cutting edge is sharp with no nicks. It measures 7 ¾” overall length. The dagger is complete with original black leather sheath which has a silver chape and throat mount. Both are ornately decorated with Oak leaves and panels featuring Stags in the field and banners & arms. All leather and stitching are intact.
