Mint, Boxed, 1948-1970 U.S.A. Hy-Score Model 800 Target .177 Calibre Break Action Air Pistol. AI 552 - AI 552
The Model 800 Target Air Pistol was produced by the New York based Hy-Score Arms Corporation between 1948 & 1970. The pistol was advertised as 'The World's Most Powerful Air Pistol'. This is a near mint original example. It retains all of it's original blue finish and has attractive scroll work on it's frame & on top of the cylinder. The cylinder is crisply marked 'Hy-Score Target Air Pistol' & with the Hy-Score Arms New York Address. It is also marked 'Patent Pending Made In USA'. It has attractive brown contoured plastic target grips with embossed HY-Score shields, blade foresight & Adjustable target rear sight. It has an innovative loading action. The weapon has a break release catch on the right side of the frame. The weapon is cocked by 'top' break action. The rear of the cylinder has a knurled dial which is turned to open the loading port. A pellet is inserted into the breech and the knurled dial is turned to close the breech ready for firing. The pistol fires with a strong spring action. It is contained in it's original cardboard box with removeable box which has Hy-Score labelling & imagery. Price includes UK delivery. Boxed, Webley Senior .22 Calibre Air Pistol With Brown Grips. AI 551 - AI 551
This is a nice Webley Senior .22 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with brown plastic grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder highlighted in original white paint. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham and with Webley UK & International Patents'. The forward barrel block is stamped '.22' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with serial number '1294'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in it's original Webley cardboard box with Pre 1958 Birmingham 4 address Webley labelling & imagery (The pre 1958 Birmingham area code 4 was removed post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). Boxed, Mint, Post 1970, West German, Weihrauch HW 70 177 Calibre Break Action Air Pistol. Sn 8257. - 8257
Weihrauch 177 Cal. HW 70 Air Pistols were introduced in 1970. The pistols were renowned for superior build quality. This is an excellent near mint example. It has a 6 1/4" rifled barrel, shrouded foresight and adjustable rear sight. The right side of the barrel block is crisply stamped with 'HW70' model detail & 'Hoffman'. The left side is stamped with '4.5' (.177) calibre detail. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'Made In Germany' together with serial number '079401'. The right side is stamped with the Weihrauch German address. All metalwork retains it's original finish. It has a tough contoured, ambidextrous synthetic target grip inlaid on both sides with 'HWM' roundels. The pistol is contained in it's original foam lined Weihruch carboard box with HW70 pistol imagery, Model detail & 'Made In W-Germany'. Price includes UK delivery. 1930's German Diana Modell 5 (V) .177 Calibre Break Action Air Pistol. Sn 8253 - 8253
An excellent 1930's German Diana Modell 5 .177 Calibre Break Action Air Pistol. The Modell 5 (V)pistols manufactured in the 1930's were made with hand chequered wood grips and although production of the modell 5 continued into the late 1970's with both wood and plastic grips the model 5 (V) was the only model to have the Dianawerk 'Circle D with arrow trademark' on top of the cylinder ( see page 266 of the Blue Book of Airguns By Beeman). The underside of the barrel is stamped with Cal.4.5mm (.177) Calibre detail. The wood stock of this weapon has the correct hand chequered pistol grip and is in near mint condition. It's metal work has nice patina throughout. The left side of the cylinder is crisply stamped with model detail 'Modell 5'( Our research indicates that Modell 5 (V) Pistols were marked Modell 5 without the (V) designation). It is also marked 'D.R.P' and 'Made In Germany'. The top of the cylinder is marked with the correct 'Diana' manufacturer's name & 'Circle D Arrow' Legend. It is fitted with triangular blade foresight & adjustable rear sight. It's loading & firing action works perfectly and it has an excellent clean rifled 7 1/4" stepped barrel (13" overall). Cased, 1953-83, German, Walther LP 53, .177 Calibre, Air Pistol & Accessories. Sn 8750. - 8750
The LP53 (Luft pistole/ Air Pistol)pistol) was produced between 1953 and1983. It is a .177 calibre air pistol with the same design lines as Walther's famous .22 LR Olympia target pistol. The LP53 is all metal with beautifully formed plastic grip panels. Movie posters for early James Bond films show Bond holding an LP 53 or Olympia pistol instead of his usual service PPK. This example is in near mint condition with excellent finish to the metalwork and plastic contoured grips with Walther banners. It has target sights and is stamped on the left side of the frame with the Walther banner and patent detail 'LP Mod 53 Cal 4.5 (.177)' together with 'Made In Germany' & serial number '075921'. The pistol functions perfectly and is contained in it's later green baize lined wood case with hinged lid and clasp fasteners. The case a wood cocking aid & a yellow plastic box with Dynamit Nobel R10 labeling. The box contains a quantity of .177 lead pellets. Made by Mayer & Grammelspacher, West Germany, the Model 5 Original, Target Air Pistol was renowned for it's accuracy and recoiless firing action. This excellent example is in .177 calibre with a break action 7 inch barrel. It has tunnel foresight and adjustable rear sight. The contoured target grips with chequered palm and thumb sections are in great undamaged condition and the pistol retains 99%+ of it's original blueing. It is nicely stamped 'Original'( highlighted in gold) and 'Mod 5' on top of the cylinder. Also on the cylinder is 'Foreign'. The pistol functions perfectly as it should. Made by by Mayer & Grammelspacher, West Germany, the Model 6 Original, Target Air Pistol was introduced in the early 1960's and renowned for it's accuracy and recoiless firing action. This near mint example is in .177 calibre with a break action 7 inch barrel. It has tunnel foresight and adjustable rear sight. The contoured target grips with chequered palm and thumb sections are in great undamaged condition and the pistol retains 99%+ of it's original blueing. It is nicely stamped 'Original'( highlighted in gold) and 'Mod 6' on top of the cylinder. Also on the cylinder is 'Made in Germany', Deutche Bundespatente Auslandpatente'. On the barrel lever section, Serial Number '71658, and 'Cal 4.5/ .177' together with the German 'F within a pentagon'( German muzzle energy mark). The pistol functions perfectly as it should. Boxed, 1960-1970's, Model 9401, Plainsman .177 BB, CO2, 'Rapid Fire' Air Pistol By Healthways U.S.A. Sn 6905. - 6905
The Plainsman was made by Healthways, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. between 1960 and early 1970's. (Healthways was taken over by Marksman in 1983). Measuring 9 inches with a 3 1/2 inch barrel, it has the look size and weight of a modern full bore semi automatic pistol and quickly became one of the most popular air pistols in the U.S.A. This .177 BB calibre Plainsman 'rapid fire', CO2 Air Pistol is in great condition. It retains all of it's original baked enamel blue finish on it's metal work and it's wood effect plastic grips are in great undamaged condition. The Plainsman features a chamber magazine that holds 100 BB's, thumb safety catch, and interestingly has adjustable power. (adjusted by a screw in butt of the grip). Aso the Model 9401 Plainsman uses both 12.5 and 8-gram CO2 cartridges and boasts an exclusive valve design intended to preserve power. The right side of the frame is stamped with it's serial number ' 0794524'. The metal grip strap of the weapon is nicely marked with the 'Plainsman' logo, U.S. patent details and .177 calibre details, highlighted in original white paint. ( illustrated). The pistol functions perfectly and it is complete with its original Grey coloured box and inlaid plastic tray nicely decorated with 'Healthway's logos and brightly coloured 'target design'. The original owners manual, adjustment tool, spare CO 2 Chamber spacer and an original blue coloured paper cartridge containing Healthways, .177 Calibre, copper coated steel BB's are included in the box. The paper cartridge is nicely marked with the 'Healthways' Logo and address. Price for this highly collectable boxed item, includes UK delivery. NB. 1976 Polish Predom .177 Air Pistol ( Sn 6155) - 6155
A quality example of a fully working Predom (Model 170) .177" calibre Air Pistol made by Predom Lucznik, Poland in 1976. This pistol is based on the Walther LP53 design. (See pg. 141 of the collectors guide to air pistols by Hillier's). It retains 98%+ of it's original blackened finish. Cast boldly in the Left side of the weapon's body is the manufacturer's legend and date of manufacture together with model number, calibre and serial number [ D2778] (illustrated).
