Post WW2 German Eickhorn Commercial M16 knife Bayonet With Wire Cutter & Scabbard. BAYO 8 - BAYO 8
This is an excellent Post WW2 German Made Commercial M16 Assault Rifle bayonet With Wire Cutter & Scabbard. There are no makers marks on this knife but most of these bayonets were German made by Eickhorn, Solingen. These bayonets fit M16 Assault rifles and many other modern rifles. It has a broad black ribbed grip and short steel crossguard with muzzle ring. It has a 7" Bowie type blade with sawback (overall 12"). The blade is slotted for wire cutter attachment which is present on it's original blacked scabbard with integral webbing frog (The wire cutting action works perfectly). The frog has a belt loop with retaining strap, stud fastener and steel belt hanger. The base of the scabbard is fitted with green thigh cord. Price includes UK delivery. BAYO 8

WW1 Imperial German Model 1888/98 Ersatz Bayonet And Scabbard. BAYO 5 - BAYO 5
An original, excellent, example of a WW1 German Ersatz M88/98 bayonet with solid steel hilt . It has a half hoop muzzle ring (see No. 335 of The Bayonet Book by Watts & White which illustrates a similar bayonet). It has a 12 1/4" fullered blade which has just light staining consistent with age and is complete with it's original steel scabbard which retains much of it's original green paint. UNAVAILABLE 01/08 Imperial German WW1 Mauser 98/05 'Butcher Bayonet' Double Marked By Hartkopf Manufacturer & Dietrich Retailer & Scabbard. ED 2309 - ED 2309
An original German WW1 Mauser 98/05 'Butcher Bayonet'. The bayonet has 9 groove wooden grips which are secured with two bolts. The hilt has a flash guard to prevent damage when firing. It has a push button spring release which operates as it should. The crossguard has no muzzle ring. The The single edged polished steel blade has a maker's stamp on the ricasso " Gebr, Hartkopf Solingen" and on the reverse a retailer's mark "O.Dietrich Altenburg" The blade measures 14 1/2" long, it gradually widens from being 1" wide at the ricasso to just over 1 1/4" wide at it's widest point. The back edge of the blade is stamped with a partially visible Imperial inspection mark. It's original black painted metal scabbard is excellent and undamaged. 1794- 1860's Prussian Dreyse Socket Bayonet With Unique Locking Spring. ED 2307 - ED 2307
A Prussian Dreyse Socket bayonet with a unique locking spring designed by Johan Christian Wilken Kyhl (Danish). It was first introduced in 1794. The Kyhl spring catch was used on Danish bayonets from 1794-1860 and was also used by Norwegian and Prussian makers. The bayonet overall length is 508mm, blade length is 400mm and the muzzle ring is 25mm. The muzzle ring is stamped with faint partially unreadable marks (illustrated). The price includes UK delivery. Austrian Socket Bayonet for the 1854 Lorenz rifle 1854-1867 - 8424:60
An original Austrian socket bayonet for the 1854 Lorenz rifle 1854-1867. The bayonet is a cruciform socket bayonet (no. 17) which is distinquished by the helical locking slot as can be seen in one of the photographs. many of the bayonets were exported to the United States during the American Civil War. The blade measures 18" and the bayonet measures 22" overall. The socket measures 80mm and has an inside diameter of 22mm. The socket has a rotating locking ring which has a screw adjuster. The cruciform blade is in very good condition. On the ricasso there is a small manufacturers proof mark. On the elbow it is stamped with "26 490" and what looks to be "J5" The socket has helical slot. The bayonet has no scabbard. The price includes Uk delivery.

An Original 100% guaranteed German WW1 Demag Combination Trench Knife-Bayonet. The knife-bayonet is 270mm in length. The blade measures 152mm in length and 22mm at it's base. It has a symmetrical double edge that starts 15mm from the guard and which is preceded by a flat ricasso. The grip comprises of two stamped metal parts assembled by 4 rivets. The handle has the standard trefoil-shaped groove at the rear allows attachment to the Gewehr 1898 rifle. The guard has a circular aperature to allow the rifle rod to pass through. The grip is coated in a feldgrau lacquer. The spring catch stud operates smoothly. The scabbard is virtually the same as all 160mm fighting scabbards. It has a leather frog which is riveted to the scabbard. This is a very original, excellent condition complete example of the Demag knife-bayonet. Scarce, Leather Scabbard For German Model 1869 Werder Bayonets. (123 rd Infantry Reg't ). ED 2008. - ED 2008
This is a scarce, Scabbard for the German Model 1869 Weder Bayonet. It is brown leather with steel mounts. All stitching and leather of the scabbard is intact and the mounts are secure and undamaged including the tip of the chape which has no dents. The upper mount has a single strap bar to the rear and interestingly, the front is crisply stamped with Regimental marks ' '123 R' (123rd Infantry Regiment) '9.110'. WW1 Imperial German Army, Erfurt Made, Mauser S98 Rifle Bayonet, Scabbard And Frog. SED 2003. - ED 2003
This is an excellent, WW1, Imperial German Army, 1906 dated, Erfurt made, Mauser S98 Rifle Bayonet with original Scabbard and leather Frog. The Bayonet has a clean, single edged, fullered, 20 1/2 inches pipe back blade (26 inches overall). The ricasso is stamped with 'Wilhelm' Crown and 'Erfurt' name. The blade back is stamped with 'W' Crown and '06' (1906) Date. The Bayonet's steel cross guard with single upwardly curved quillon, grooved slab wood grips and pommel are in nice undamaged condition. The Bayonet is complete with original steel mounted brown leather Scabbard which has slight service wear that does not detract from it's good appearance and an original leather Frog with single 2" belt loop. All stitching and leather of both the scabbard and Frog are complete and intact. Price for this desirable, Imperial German Bayonet, Scabbard and Frog set includes UK delivery. ED 2003.

Austrian Sword Bayonet Model 1873 Modified & Scabbard ED 958 - ED 958
This is a very scarce, officially modified Austrian Model 1873 sword bayonet modified in 1881 with wooden grips and 3 large rivets. It has an external coil type press stud assembly and the hooked quillon is stamped, "PK 978. 4". It has an 18.5" slightly curved, single edged, fullered blade with a makers mark on the ricasso of GA and an Austrian eagle. In its original steel scabbard stamped WG on the frog stud with another Austrian Eagle. See p.103 of the Book Bayonets of the World- Volume 4 by Paul Kiesling. Price includes UK delivery. ED 958
