MINT, German Weihrauch HW99S (Sport Trigger) .22 Calibre Break Action Carbine Size Air Rifle With Bushnell 3-9x40 Telescopic Sight. AI 621 / 12126:1 - AI 621 / 12126:1
The Weihrauch name has been associated with solid build quality and reliability for many years. Ever since the HW80 transformed the hunting rifle market, Weihrauch’s range of solid, accurate springers have been a popular choice for airgunners. This is a near mint Weihrauch HW99S in .22 calibre. The ‘S’ designation refers to the fact that these rifles have an adjustable sports trigger. The carbine size rifle has a 15 ½” barrel and measures 41 ½” overall. It has superb woodwork and rubber shoulder recoil pad. The metal work retains all of its original blueing and the top of the Air cylinder is grooved for telescopic sight. The barrel block is marked with model and calibre detail (illustrated in image 2). It is serial number '1557654'. The rifle cocks loads and fires with a nice tight action. It has a shrouded fore sight and adjustable rear sight. It is also fitted with a Bushnell 3-9x40 Telescopic Sight in the same mint condition. The sight is stamped with manufacturer and magnification detail. It also has removable protective lens covers. The optics of the sight are excellent. The price includes UK delivery. 1970's 'F' Series Webley Premier .22 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 11870:10 - 11870:10
Made C1975 'F' series Webley Premier air pistols were the last of the 1964-1975 era forged steel Premiers to be produced before introduction of the redesigned Webley Premier made of aluminium materials (see page 120/121 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). This 'F' series Webley Premier is in .22 calibre. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left grip has some scuffs consistent with age and use. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with number '745'. It has a blade foresight and the forward barrel block is stamped '.22'(calibre). It has an adjustable rear sight. It is also stamped on the left side of the grip near to the grip 'F' (series). This is an original boxed Webley Junior .177 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with original plum/ blued finish and black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham. The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial/ batch number '754'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. It is contained in its original Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham 4 address. SOLD SOLD (28/09) Boxed, Early 1970's Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol & Accessories. Sn 11938 - 11938
The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip together with serial number. Early examples had Brown Plastic Grips (see 119/120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is an excellent example in .22 Calibre. It is undamaged and has the early brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The frame near the left grip is stamped with the correct large ‘E’ (Series designation). The front of the cylinder is stamped with number ‘120’. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in its original cardboard box with Webley labelling & imagery. 'Instructions for use' are adhered to the inside of the lid. The box also contains an original Webley illustrated components list dated 1969, 2 x period Webley pellet tin paper gift vouchers (obviously expired), a cardboard box which contains a quantity of lead .22 calibre pellets and an pamphlet titled ‘Airgun Law’ produced by the Shooting Sports Trust in the 1970’s (NB Some aspects of Airgun Law contained in the pamphlet may have changed since its publication). Post 1974 To 1983 B.S.A. Airsporter MK VI .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle. Sn 11447 - 11447
An excellent condition B.S.A, MK VI Airsporter, .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It is serial number GL 65624 which identifies it as a MK VI and dates it to between 1974 and 1983 (see Page 56 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The wood stock with ribbed butt and metal work are in excellent undamaged condition. The top of the air chamber is correctly marked with the ‘B.S.A. Airsporter' gold coloured electroplated legend and is grooved for telescopic sight. The top of the barrel is crisply stamped with 'B.S.A. Guns Ltd, England .22 Cal' and with the B.S.A 'stacked rifles' logo. It is under lever cocking and has a shrouded fore sight & adjustable rear sight. It has a clean bore with crisp rifling. 1969-1973 B.S.A Super Meteor .22 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle 'TE' Prefix Serial Number. Sn 10791 - 10791
Birmingham Small Arms introduced the Super Meteor Air rifle in 1966. The small frame rifle is 42" overall with a 18 1/2" barrel. This is an excellent example in .22 Calibre. It has an undamaged wood stock with grooved butt end. The wood has just a couple of light scuffs. The metal work is undamaged and retains most of it's original blueing there are a few light scratches on the cylinder and usage wear to the finish at the left side of the barrel block. It has a block and blade fore sight and adjustable target rear sight. The top of the cylinder forward of it's 2 scope grooves is crisply marked 'BSA Meteor'. The rifle's serial number 'TE70781' is stamped on the underside of the barrel block. The 'TE' prefix serial number dates the rifle to between 1969 and 1973 (See page 44 of The Collector's Guide to Air Rifles By Hiller). The barrel's bore is clean with crisp rifling and it cocks and fires as it should with a strong spring action. Price includes UK delivery. Pre 1958 Webley Senior .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Brown Grips. Sn 10675 - 10675
This is a nice Webley Senior .177 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham 4' and 'Webley Patents' (The pre 1958 area code 4 was removed from pistols post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). The forward barrel block is stamped '.177' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with number '555'. Boxed, 1945 To 1958 'The Webley Mark 1', .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Original Box Of Webley Special Pellets. AI 600 - AI 600
These pistols were manufactured at the Webley Birmingham 4 factory Post WW2 To 1958. Production continued at their Handsworth factory into the 1960's. (See pages 71 to 73 of Bruce's book Webley Air Pistols). This excellent example has undamaged metal work with all of it's original finish and superb black chequered grips embossed with the 'Webley ' name. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Mark I Made In England'. The left side also has the correct oil hole marked 'Oil' with arrow indicator. The right side of the cylinder is marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4' pre 1958 manufacturers detail together with the correctly abbreviated 'Webley Patents'. It has an adjustable rear sight & the barrel strap beneath the blade fore sight is stamped 'MK 1 .177'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial number '041'. The pistol cocks and fires with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in it's original Webley labelled cardboard box which is undamaged and bears Webley pistol imagery, trademark and Birmingham 4 address. The inside of the box lid has illustrated 'instructions for use'. The box contains an original Webley Special pellet box with a small quantity of .177 lead pellets.
