C1960 Cold War Era Polish Officers 'Summer' Uniform Complete With Order of Polonia Restituta Medal, Enamelled Insignia, Ribbons And Cord Aiguillette With Silver Plated Tag. Sn 6954. - 6954
This is an impressive, clean, original, Cold War era Polish Officers' 'Summer' Uniform dating from C1960. The Light Green tunic is fully lined with green cotton material. It has 2 external chest pockets with flaps and 2 external hip pockets with flaps. It also has 2 internal chest pockets with button fasteners. The tunic measures approx UK 40" chest and is decorated with various Polish enamelled insignia/ badges, medal Ribbons, white enamelled medal of the 'Order of Polonia Restituta', White Cord Aiguillette with silver plated Tag and Rank insignia. (all illustrated). All buttons of the Tunic are intact and are nicely embossed with the 'Polish Eagle'. The Uniform is complete with original trousers which have 2 side pockets and 1 rear pocket which has button fastener . The waist of the trousers has buttoned size adjustment straps. The matching original light green trousers are approx UK Waist size 34-36" with approx 30-31" leg length. The Uniform has some slight service wear to the liner of the tunic which does no detract from it's great appearance. All buttons and stitching of the Uniform are intact. Price includes UK delivery. A superb condition 1944 pattern Olive Drab Wool Field Jacket or "Ike" Jacket of a Staff Sergeant of the USAAF wearing patches of the 9th and USAAF. Brass US and aviation collar badges. Unusual badge over left pocket of an eagle in a letter'O' all in a diamond. Two gold service stripes and WW1 victory medal ribbon.
