Attributed WW2 Royal Air Force Pilot's Jacket - U 345 / 5575
A very nice condition WW2 RAF Officer's Jacket of Flying Officer H. Maltby, a pilot. It has all its Kings Crown brass RAF buttons and a lovely, original pair of Kings Crown Pilots, deeply padded wings fitted. Inside the pocket is a makers label for, "Russell & Roberts, Shrewsbury" and the ink written name, "H. Maltby". It comes with a copy photograph of F.O. Maltby of B Flight, 7 Squadron, B Wing on No. 2- Course A.C.O.S. Price includes UK delivery.

It has c blue backed cloth pips on each shoulder,white on blue embroidered "ROYAL SIGNALS" shoulder titles, 42nd Division Arm Badges and a blue lanyard. Medal ribbons of the Italy Star, Defence & war medal. Inside it has a clear makers label of size 11 for height 5' 9" to 5' 10", breast 38" to 39" and waist 33" to 34". made by James Smith & Co. A superb condition 1944 pattern Olive Drab Wool Field Jacket or "Ike" Jacket of a Staff Sergeant of the USAAF wearing patches of the 9th and USAAF. Brass US and aviation collar badges. Unusual badge over left pocket of an eagle in a letter'O' all in a diamond. Two gold service stripes and WW1 victory medal ribbon. A tartan military kilt of the Black Watch in mint unissued condition. Inside is blanket lined and has its leather retaining straps. The label shows it is a Kilt No.1, 1953 pattern, made by Thomas Gordon & sons Ltd, Glasgow in March 1968.
