These display boards were produced by ammunition manufacturers in the 1970’s & 1980’s for Registered firearms dealers to display their products. Hornady Manufacturing Company, Grand Island, Nebraska, is a world leader in bullet, ammunition & reloading tool accessories. Founded in 1949 by Joyce Hornady, the company began making bullets in a rented garage in downtown Grand Island. The business remains family-owned today. This shield shaped display board is in excellent condition. The display has a broad range of inert, Hornady, lead, copper jacketed and semi jacketed rifle & pistol bullet heads without shell cases all mounted with clear printed calibre detail. The display is mounted on an attractive carved wood shield shaped plaque featuring crossed rifles with American Eagle and crossed pistols above ‘H’ & ‘Hornady Bullets’ together with roundel ‘Hornady Mfg Co Grand Island NE’ and Oak leaves decoration. The display board measures 21” x 15 ¾” x 1 ½”. The rear of the shield has a metal bar for wall mounting. These display boards are rare to find. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 15372:7

These display boards were produced by ammunition manufacturers in the 1970’s & 1980’s for Registered firearms dealers to display their products. Speer’s reputation for making the world's finest component bullets and loaded ammunition goes all the way back to 1943, when Vernon Speer started building bullets because re-loaders couldn't get the components they needed from ammo companies during World War II. This Speer display board is in mint condition, still covered in its original clear cellophane wrapping. The display has a broad range of inert, Speer lead, copper jacketed and semi jacketed sporting bullet heads without shell cases all mounted above clear calibre detail. The display is mounted on colourful scenery depicting a Ram’s head next to hunting rifle and ammunition belt with a Steamboat manoeuvring through a canyon river. This scene commemorates the big horn ram a popular 19th Century big game species in the Hell’s canyon area & the sinking of the Steamboat Imnaha which foundered in the Snake River in 1903 while navigating through the canyon. The wood display board measures 21 ¾” x 11 ¾” x ¾”. The rear of the board has metal bar for wall mounting. Within the cellophane wrapping is a factory printed note produced with the board containing information about the Hell’s Canyon Ram and the sinking of the steamboat. These display boards were produced by ammunition manufacturers in the 1970’s & 1980’s for Registered firearms dealers to display their products. Based in Kingston Upon Hull, Gamebore have been a manufacturer of quality shotgun ammunition for clay and game since 1973. This Gamebore display board has a range of colourful shotgun cartridge cases all with clear manufacturer detail and a selection their shotgun cartridge components including examples of felt and plastic wadding and 2 rifled lead slugs. The green felt backed display is also mounted with a colourful paper leaflet illustrating a selection of ‘Vectan’ gunpowder tins with French labelling and a colourful embroidered cloth Gamebore shooting jacket badge. All ammunition is inert. The wood display board measures 27 ¾” x 20” x 1 ¾” and has a glazed window panel. The rear of the board has 2 holed metal plates for wall mounting. These display boards were produced by ammunition manufacturers in the 1970’s & 1980’s for Registered firearms dealers to display their products. This Kynoch / Eley display board has a range of colourful shotgun cartridge cases all with clear manufacturer detail and one sectioned window case displaying the internal construction of the round and the lead shot contained within. The board also exhibits a range of small bore ammunition and boxed window lid Wasp No.1 and 2 lead airgun pellets each containing a quantity of lead pellets. All ammunition is inert. The wood display board has printed Kynoch and Eley information (all illustrated). The wood display board measures 27 ¾” x 20” x 1 ¾” and has a glazed window panel. This is a rare WW2 era wooden ammunition box containing 12 feed strips, some in their original protective grease each holding 20 rounds for the Italian 8mm Breda Modes 37 and 38 Es tank and infantry machine guns. The box is made of wood with steel reinforcement to all the sides and corners. There are two hinges at the top of the container and a swivelling locking clamp at the other side. The lid of the box has a piece of felt to the inside to stop the strips rattling. There are two leather covered rope carrying handles to the top of the box. The feed strips are made of pressed steel and hold 20 rounds of ammunition in each strip. The box retains much of its original grey painted finish. The price includes UK delivery. O 1328

This box would originally been contained in a wooden outer transportation box. The rounds are headstamped RG (Radway Green) 66 2Z 380 on the brass cartridge cases crimped onto a metal jacketed 200 grain round nosed bullet. The original black tinplate box with a pull off ring contains 15 service packs and is stamped on one face HB&S 1965 SV 362 24 (in a circle). This is a rare 1916 dated service pack of 24 rounds of 7.65×21mm Parabellum ammunition for the Swiss 7.65 mm Model 1900 Pistole Parabellum (Luger) pistol which was adopted by the Swiss army in May 1900. These guns were made by DWM in Germany. This service pack is in a black covered cardboard box and is dated 15.8.1916 on the white box label. The metal jacketed round nosed bullets are in a brass cartridge case headstamped T 6 T 15 and are separated into 8 round sections in the box,(the Luger having an 8 round magazine). There are three white cloth tear off strips to take eight rounds out of the pack at one time. This box contains 15 rounds of brass cased German "Patronen s.S." stands for Patronen Schweres Spitzgeschoss or a cartridge with a heavy pointed bullet ,198gr , FMJ and are headstamped bne (Metallwerke Odertal GmbH, Odertal) St*(Steel cartridge case) 7 43 (1943 date). The bullet is of a steel core with a copper jacket. The buff cardboard packet has a white paper identification label on it with a blue stripe and Fur MG In red print, (For Machine Gun).
