It head stamp is, 6331St over 3,7cmPak over 10 P 105 VIII 16 1939 Waffenampt 244 .The primer is stamped 106/38Rhs425 C/13nA 162/37 .The iron driving banded steel projectile is an unfired armour piercing projectile. Inert Unfired Original WW2 British 3 Inch High Explosive Mortar. Sn O 924 - O 924
This is a inert unfired British original WW2 unfired 3 Inch high explosive mortar with a No162 nose fuse, protector cap and adapter ring The fuse is stamped on the side No152 W.B.L L/C 6/42. And also Sc/C8?42.426. On the top of the fuse after removing the safety cap is the remains of a small circular paper label with the following printed on it WI PIN FIRIN . The lacquered body retains most original finish, including its red (high explosive) band at the nose and a green (Amatol) band at the middle. The white stencilling on the body is 50/50 3 MOR MK3 11515 Pg/C 4/45 and 961 (in a oval). There is also a white oval with the what appears to be the following stencilling in it 4228/196. This is a unfired German Illumination round for the 105mm (105x658R) SK C/32 Naval Gun fitted to type 1 IX and X type U-boats, various minesweepers and capital ships in the German Navy. This round was recovered from storage in Finland.The headstamp is PATRONENFABRIK Karlsrule IV 1908. Also (Roman numeral) III over C32. The slightly waisted projectile has 2 iron driving bands and has a dark green paint (40%) over a lighter green (85%). Under the fuse there is a black painted ring (85%), 22mm high with traces of the dark green paint over it. The projectile is stencilled in white KALD GH (and ) dagS4/44. This is an INERT unfired Drill American WP Smoke Round for the 75mm M20 Recoilless Rifle. This is a superb, original, fully painted and stencilled round with a lacquered perforated steel cartridge case. The inert alloy and brass nose fuse is a P.D.. M A .05 sec delay or impact fuse. The projectile body retains all its grey paint and yellow stencilling consisting of a yellow band, WP SMOKE 75R SHELLM311A1. A pre engraved copper driving band is fitted. There is a 15mm hole bored in the projectile body above the INERTE stamp. The body is stamped INERTE NRO 31-2-1955 -75mm WP M311A1. The steel lacquered perforated cartridge case still has its empty plastic propellant bag inside and is headstamped INERTE. The base is stencilled in white paint AMM LOT BPD.1.1 SHELL M311A1. This is an inert German WW2 Stielgranate 41 hollow charged fin stabilised hollow charge A.P. high explosive projectile for the Pak 36 anti- tank gun used by the German army in the WW2.The spigot of the projectile fits into the bore of the Pak 36 and a special blank round is used to fire it. The projectile has an unfired nose fuse AZ5075, derived from the rifle grenade and is a direct action type armed by setback on firing.
