INERT Unfired WW2 Kriegsmarine 105mm Illumination Round For The 105mm (105x658R) SK C/32 Naval Gun. Sn O 920 - O 920
This is a unfired German Illumination round for the 105mm (105x658R) SK C/32 Naval Gun fitted to type 1 IX and X type U-boats, various minesweepers and capital ships in the German Navy. This round was recovered from storage in Finland.The headstamp is PATRONENFABRIK Karlsrule IV 1908. Also (Roman numeral) III over C32. The slightly waisted projectile has 2 iron driving bands and has a dark green paint (40%) over a lighter green (85%). Under the fuse there is a black painted ring (85%), 22mm high with traces of the dark green paint over it. The projectile is stencilled in white KALD GH (and ) dagS4/44. The alloy nose fuse is stamped ZZS/60na nhj 107 1943 Waa25. Sn O 920 Price includes UK delivery.

INERT Unfired Drill American WP Smoke Round For The 75mm M20 Recoilless Rifle. Sn O 918 - O 917
This is an INERT unfired Drill American WP Smoke Round for the 75mm M20 Recoilless Rifle. This is a superb, original, fully painted and stencilled round with a lacquered perforated steel cartridge case. The inert alloy and brass nose fuse is a P.D.. M A .05 sec delay or impact fuse. The projectile body retains all its grey paint and yellow stencilling consisting of a yellow band, WP SMOKE 75R SHELLM311A1. A pre engraved copper driving band is fitted. There is a 15mm hole bored in the projectile body above the INERTE stamp. The body is stamped INERTE NRO 31-2-1955 -75mm WP M311A1. The steel lacquered perforated cartridge case still has its empty plastic propellant bag inside and is headstamped INERTE. The base is stencilled in white paint AMM LOT BPD.1.1 SHELL M311A1. The primer is stamped Rhs 2/0/38C C/32nA 433G .The unfired armour piercing high explosive steel projectile with a single copper driving band is stamped Waa2 3015 and has traces of red paint round the circumference. This is an INERT Unfired British 5.5 Inch 80Lb high explosive projectile for the 5.5 inch Medium gun first used in the western desert in 1942. The gun originally fired a 100 lb projectile but to increase the range, a 80lb shell was developed from a higher grade steel with a less tapered nose. The base of this projectile is correctly stamped 5.5gun 80lb mk3. This projectile was manufactured in 1962 and was already painted in wartime colours when we acquired it. This is an inert German WW2 Stielgranate 41 hollow charged fin stabilised hollow charge A.P. high explosive projectile for the Pak 36 anti- tank gun used by the German army in the WW2.The spigot of the projectile fits into the bore of the Pak 36 and a special blank round is used to fire it. The projectile has an unfired nose fuse AZ5075, derived from the rifle grenade and is a direct action type armed by setback on firing. INERT French Studded Explosive La Hutte System Projectile Sn O - O 897
This is a rare shell of the 1858 French La Hutte muzzle system for the French Model 1858 rifled muzzle loading cannon. This rifleing system relined smooth bore cannon with a rifled liner. The projectile has 12 zinc studs in two rows and is 84mm in diameter. The height of the projectile is 180mm. The unfired brass percussion nose fuse is a 25/38mm System Budin Model of 1875 and is stamped on the side with the number 77. The price for this rare projectile includes UK postage and packing. Rare INERT Unfired WW1 12pdr Anti-Zeppelin Incendiary Recoiless Davis Gun Aircraft Projectile. (0 888) - O 888
This is a rare unfired INERT unfired projectile for the British WW1 Anti-Zeppelin recoiless Davis 12 pdr aircraft gun, the Gun-Ordnance QF12 pdr. Mk 1). This weapon was designed by an American, Commander Davis. He designed 2, 6, and 12pdr guns for aircraft. The projectile was loaded with a side primed cartridge case with a blowout rear seal that contained an equal weight of lead shot and propelled it from the rear or the gun on firing. The gun barrel was rifled with shallow rifling and the rear shot ballast barrel was smoothbored. This incendiary projectile was used against the Zeppelins. Early guns were separately loaded. The projectile is for the Ordnance QF12 pdr Mk 1, a gun that was 12 feet in length and weighing 200 pounds. (See Hogg, British Artillery Weapons and Ammunition 1914 – 1914 pages 202 to 204).
