SOLD SOLD SOLD VERY RARE, Original, WW1 1917 Holster For German Luger PO8 Artillery Pistols (Lange Pistole 08 or Long Pistol 08) By Hinkle & O’Ofville Offenbraufabrik With Original Correct Cleaning Rod & Stripping Tool. Sn 14335 - 14335
The Lange Pistole 08 (German: "Long Pistol 08") or Artillery Luger were used by German Army artillerymen as a long range personal defence weapon. Similar to the standard Infantry PO8 4” barrel side arm, the artillery model had a longer 200 mm (7.9 in) barrel and an 8-position tangent rear sight (calibrated to 800 meters (870 yd). This is a very rare to find original WW1 dated leather holster for artillery luger pistols. This example is in excellent condition. Made of very dark Brown Leather Cow hide, the Holster has a compartment with lid on it’s right aspect which contains its original artillery luger steel cleaning rod with wood barrel shaped handle. The front of the holster has a retaining strap which passes through a loop on the front of the holster. The rear has 2 small belt loops. The inside of the holster's lid is impressed with faint 1917 date and indistinct manufacturer detail which appears to be ‘Hinkle & O’Ofville Offenbraufabrik’ ( illustrated). The inside of the lid also has its original tool pocket with stud and flap cover. The pocket contains its original blued steel luger stripping tool. RARE, WW1 Era British WD Royal Naval Division Officers/ Royal Naval Air Service Pilots & WW2 Royal Navy Officer’s .455 Webley MK VI Service Revolver Holster 1940 Dated By ‘PHd’ With Shoulder Strap. Sn 14138 - 14138
This is a rare British Naval .455 Webley MK VI Revolver holster. These holsters were issued to WW1 era British Royal Naval Division Officers & Royal Naval Air Service pilots. They were also used by Royal Navy Officers during the early years of WW2. The dark brown leather holster completely covers the Webley pistol to avoid sea water coming into contact with it. The holster is riveted for the same reason. The holster seam is completely riveted with 13 copper rivets. The muzzle cap is also riveted. The large holster has a full flap cover with retaining strap with eyelet to the body and single brass stud to the flap. The underside of the flap is stamped by the manufacturer ‘PHd’ together with 2/40 date (Feb 1940) and War Dept arrow. The rear of the holster has an adjustable leather shoulder strap with brass buckle secured to the body of the holster by rivets and a large riveted belt loop. This is an excellent WW1 British Officer’s brown leather open top holster for use with Sam Browne belt rigs. The holster is open top with retaining strap with eyelet and brass stud to the body. The muzzle end of the holster is also open. The rear of the holster has a stitched pocket for cleaning rod which holds its original brass cleaning rod, a stitched tab with brass buckle and 2 additional adjustable leather straps with brass buckles to allow the holster to be worn on either the left or right side of a Sam Browne belt rig. The tip of the retaining strap is faintly impressed by the manufacturer ‘HGR’. All stitching and leather are intact. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 14365

A WW1 British Officer's Sam Browne belt, .455 Webley Service holster, Ammunition Pouch, Sword Frog and 2 x cross belts, all in excellent condition. The belt is in excellent condition and is supple and has a very nice patina. It retains all of the brass loops and equipment hook. It also has the leather belt keeper. It measures 45" when laid out flat. The holster is for the .45 Webley service revolver (The revolver in the holster in the photographs is just for demonstration purposes and not included in the sale). The holster is dark brown leather, it has a nice patina. It has a fold over flap which has a brass 'button' attached, a leather strap, stitched to the rear folds forward and over the 'button'. Inside the flap it has a hand written name "A.F. Stanton R.A." (Royal Artillery). On the rear it has a leather belt loop for attaching to the Sam Browne Equipment Belt. All of the stitching on the holster is secure and in good condition. The ammunition pouch is in excellent condition and retains a very nice patina. All of the stitching is present and secure. The sword frog again is in very good condition and retains all of the stitching which is secure. It has two leather straps which retain all the correct buckles and keepers. The cross straps secure through the brass belt loops on the belt. They retain all of the brass buckles and brass 'buttons'. This is a very nice complete set with 2 x cross straps. This is a near mint, WW2 dated German Holster For captured Belgium Browning Hi Power Model 1935 Semi Auto Pistols which were used by nazi troops. It is made of Brown Cowhide with full flap cover and single retaining strap with single stud fastener. It has a single magazine pouch on its front aspect, the top of which is covered by the flap when closed. The holster has quick release flap and single belt loop to the rear. The holster is for the .45 Webley service revolver and is complete with a brass cleaning rod. The holster is stamped under the flap with "2 92 1941 CB 81" and the War Department 'Broad Arrow'. The holster is dark brown leather, it has a nice patina. It has a fold over flap which has a brass 'button' attached, a leather strap, stitched to the rear folds forward and over the 'button'. On the rear it has a leather belt loop for attaching to the Sam Browne Equipment Belt. All of the stitching on the holster is secure and in good condition. WW2 Japanese Officer's Quality Brown Leather Map Case and Shoulder Strap. L 308 - L 308
WW2 Japanese Officer's quality brown leather map case with shoulder strap. This is made from quality leather which is supple and has a very nice patina. The map case has a front and rear compartment. The front of the map case has a fold over flap which is secured over a brass button. The flap has a 5 point star stitched to it over the securing strap as extra decoration. It is also 'worked' with a boarder around the edge of the flap and case. This is one large expandable compartment probably for maps and documents. Inside the case there is a blue paper sticker in Japanese. The reverse has another expandable compartment, inside this is a leather and green felt pen and writing board with leather pockets stitched for pens and pencils. The flap on the rear compartment is secured with press studs. The sides have pen / pencil leather pockets stitched to them. The leather shoulder strap has a steel adjusting buckle and a 'dog clip' at one end to detach it. The shoulder strap secures to two steel rings which are secured to the case with leather loops. This is a very nice quality officer's map case. All stitching is present and secure. The price includes UK delivery. L 308
