An excellent condition, massive, brown leather holster for the WW1 era very large frame revolvers. It has a full flap cover with retaining strap and brass stud fastener. The rear has a single belt loop. All leather and stitching are intact and in excellent condition. From the open top to muzzle cap measures 12 ¾”. The open top is 6 ¼” width. An original Boer War dated Lance bucket . The conical brown leather bucket is made to hold the spiked shaft butt of a Cavalry lance as illustrated in image 3 (the lance shaft illustrated in the image is not included. All of the brown leather and stitching of the bucket are intact. The stiff leather wing of the bucket was made to secure to the riders’ stirrup, an original period steel stirrup accompanies the bucket. WW1 1917 Dated Royal Ulster Constabulary (RIC) Dark Brown / Black Leather .455 Calibre Webley MK VI Revolver Ammunition Pouch By Dawson & Son. Sn 15598 - 15598
The armed Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) was Ireland's major police force from the early nineteenth century until the partition of Ireland in 1922. The loyalty of the Irish Constabulary during the outbreak of the 1867 'Republican Rising' was rewarded by Queen Victoria who granted the force the prefix 'Royal' in 1867. This original ammunition pouch is made of very dark Brown / Black leather. This colour of pouch formed part of the mounted RIC uniform & equipment. The pouch has a full flap cover and was used for carrying .455 calibre ammunition for Webley MK VI revolvers. The pouch has a single brass stud to secure the flap which has an eyelet. The rear of the pouch has brass hanging bars and a brass stud. The leather is stamped with crisp ‘17’ (1917 date) and by the manufacturer which appears to be Dawson & Son. The pouch measures 4 ½” x 3 ¾”. All leather and stitching are present & intact. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 15598

An original, British Boer War Era Mounted Infantry.303 Calibre Ammunition Leather Bandolier. Made of brown leather it has 6 ammunition carriers with full flap covers. Each carrier has heavy duty hooped, stitched slots for individual .303 rounds used in Lee Metford Service rifles. The bandolier holds 50 individual rounds of ammunition in total and each flap cover has all of its brass stud fasteners. One end of the bandolier is fitted with a heavy duty brass buckle. The mid section of the bandolier has a small metal hoop for strap attachment. There are no visible date or manufacturer marks on the bandolier which measures 44 ¾” overall length. The body is embossed with the U.S. Military roundel The rear has a riveted single belt loop and the muzzle cap has a small military lanyard ring for thigh cord. The belt loop is dated 1917 and has manufacturer marks ‘G&K’ above ‘AG’. All leather & stitching are intact. This is an original WW1 Officer's Sam Browne equipment belt rig. The belt has all brass buckles and fittings including shoulder cross strap. The belt is fitted with an excellent .455 calibre MK VI service revolver holster with flap cover and stud fastener. The rear of the holster has the correct belt loop & brass fittings. The belt is also fitted with an excellent original ammunition pouch with flap cover, retaining strap & stud fastener and an original Sword frog. The buckles, leather & stitching of all components of the rig are intact. The belt is adjustable from approx UK size 34" to 38" waist. There are no visible manufacturer, date or WD marks on this rig. A British Military Webley & Scott .32 Auto Pistol Holster in tan hide in near mint condition. The holster has a fold over top flap with brass stud that fastens to a leather strap with eyelet on the holster’s body. The front aspect of the holster has an open top magazine carrier. The top of the carrier is covered by the holster’s flap when closed. The rear of the holster has a large belt loop with eyelet that fastens to a brass stud on the body of the holster. All leather and stitching is excellent, clean and intact. The American H&R .32 Auto pistol and magazine illustrated in the images which is similar in size & form to Webley .32 Auto pistols is not included but is available separately on this website (Sn 13690).
