RARE, WW1 Era British WD Royal Naval Division Officers/ Royal Naval Air Service Pilots & WW2 Royal Navy Officer’s .455 Webley MK VI Service Revolver Holster 1940 Dated By ‘PHd’ With Shoulder Strap. Sn 14138 - 14138
This is a rare British Naval .455 Webley MK VI Revolver holster. These holsters were issued to WW1 era British Royal Naval Division Officers & Royal Naval Air Service pilots. They were also used by Royal Navy Officers during the early years of WW2. The dark brown leather holster completely covers the Webley pistol to avoid sea water coming into contact with it. The holster is riveted for the same reason. The holster seam is completely riveted with 13 copper rivets. The muzzle cap is also riveted. The large holster has a full flap cover with retaining strap with eyelet to the body and single brass stud to the flap. The underside of the flap is stamped by the manufacturer ‘PHd’ together with 2/40 date (Feb 1940) and War Dept arrow. The rear of the holster has an adjustable leather shoulder strap with brass buckle secured to the body of the holster by rivets and a large riveted belt loop. This is an excellent WW1 British Officer’s brown leather open top holster for use with Sam Browne belt rigs. The holster is open top with retaining strap with eyelet and brass stud to the body. The muzzle end of the holster is also open. The rear of the holster has a stitched pocket for cleaning rod which holds its original brass cleaning rod, a stitched tab with brass buckle and 2 additional adjustable leather straps with brass buckles to allow the holster to be worn on either the left or right side of a Sam Browne belt rig. The tip of the retaining strap is faintly impressed by the manufacturer ‘HGR’. All stitching and leather are intact. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 14365

A WW1 British Officer's Sam Browne belt, .455 Webley Service holster, Ammunition Pouch, Sword Frog and cross belt, all in excellent condition. The belt is in excellent condition and is supple and has a very nice patina. It retains all of the brass loops and equipment hook. It also has the leather belt keeper. It measures 45" when laid out flat. The holster is for the .45 Webley service revolver (The revolver in the holster in the photographs is just for demonstration purposes and not included in the sale). The holster is dark brown leather, it has a nice patina. It has a fold over flap which has a brass 'button' attached, a leather strap, stitched to the rear folds forward and over the 'button'. On the rear it has a leather belt loop for attaching to the Sam Browne Equipment Belt. All of the stitching on the holster is secure and in good condition. The ammunition pouch is in excellent condition and retains a very nice patina. All of the stitching is present and secure. The sword frog again is in very good condition and retains all of the stitching which is secure. It has two leather straps which retain all the correct buckles and keepers. Original 1943 Nazi German P38 Walther 'Hard Shell' Leather Holster By hlv (Maury u. Co., Lederwarenfabrik, Offenbach on the Main). L 309 - L 309
An Original 1941 dated P38 Walther 'Hard Shell' holster. The holster has a fold over lid secured with a leather strap through a fixed metal bar on the body. The lid has a metal reinforced plate which fits over the loop. The long side of the holster has an open top stitched spare magazine pouch (Empty). The reverse of the holster has two leather stitched belt loops, both secure. The rear of the holster is faintly impressed with 1943 date, Waffenamt and P38. There is also a faint Nazi manufacturer code ‘hlv’ which is Maury u. Co., Lederwarenfabrik, Offenbach on the Main). Inside the holster it retains its original leather quick draw pull strap. A WW2 1941 British Officer's Sam Browne belt, Webley Service holster and shoulder strap, all in excellent condition. The belt is in excellent condition and is supple and has a very nice patina. It retains all of the brass loops and equipment hook. It also has the leather belt keeper. It measures 45" when laid out flat. The holster is for the .45 Webley service revolver and is complete with a brass cleaning rod. The holster is stamped under the flap with "2 92 1941 CB 81" and the War Department 'Broad Arrow'. WW2 Japanese Officer's Quality Brown Leather Map Case and Shoulder Strap. L 308 - L 308
WW2 Japanese Officer's quality brown leather map case with shoulder strap. This is made from quality leather which is supple and has a very nice patina. The map case has a front and rear compartment. The front of the map case has a fold over flap which is secured over a brass button. The flap has a 5 point star stitched to it over the securing strap as extra decoration. It is also 'worked' with a boarder around the edge of the flap and case. This is one large expandable compartment probably for maps and documents. Inside the case there is a blue paper sticker in Japanese. The reverse has another expandable compartment, inside this is a leather and green felt pen and writing board with leather pockets stitched for pens and pencils. The flap on the rear compartment is secured with press studs. The sides have pen / pencil leather pockets stitched to them. The leather shoulder strap has a steel adjusting buckle and a 'dog clip' at one end to detach it. The shoulder strap secures to two steel rings which are secured to the case with leather loops. This is an unusual design WW2 German flare pistol holster. The holster is made from black leather. It has a side and top flap which fold over each other and secure over a brass stud. The bottom and side of the holster are black supple leather allowing plenty of give for the flare pistol. On the reverse it has a large leather attachment, stitched and riveted. It has a belt loop and also incorporates two brass hanging loops and a brass stud. Inside the holster it has a spare round pouch stitched into it. It measures 9 1/2" along the straight side, 12" across the diagonal and is 7 1/2" across the top. The leather is in excellent supple condition. All of the stitching is present and secure. An original WW1 1915 dated Luger PO8 'hard case' holster made of brown cow hide. The cover is secured by a leather strap and metal buckle, both are in excellent condition. The holster has a magazine carrier stitched to the right aspect (Empty). It is stamped on the front under the flap with the manufacturers name "Carl Lottmann Arnstadt". The reverse of the holster has two leather belt loops, both of which are secure. It is stamped between the belt loops with "Carl Lottmann Arnstadt 1915". The inside has its original leather toggle quick draw strap and pocket with flap cover for Luger stripping tool (Empty). All of the stitching and leather of the holster are clean and intact. British WW1 1916 Dated Brown Leather Open Top Holster For Webley Mk.VI .455" Service Revolvers For Machine Gun Crews By HGR With Steel Cleaning Rod. L 308 - L 308
An excellent WW1 1916 dated British brown leather open top and bottom holster for the Webley Mk.VI .455" service revolver, complete with its steel cleaning rod contained in a slim pocket at the rear. The strap to secure the flap is stamped with "HGR 1916" (Hepburn Gale Ross Ltd). Inside the top edge of holster it is stamped with a series of numbers "989839" and some more that are too faint to make out, see the inset on the third photograph. The rear has two brass clips for fixing it to the equipment belt and releasing it quickly if needed. The holster has it's original retaining strap and brass stud. This holster has an open bottom fro drainage. The holster retains a very nice patina. All stitching and leather is intact. The leather and stitching are in excellent condition. These holster's were popular with machine gun crews because the weapon could be drawn easily from the prone position because of the open top. The price includes UK delivery. L 308
