1956 Trials, Sealed Pattern, Kenya Prison Service Kepi Complete With Original Crown Seal And Cloth Label. Sn 6836. - 6836
This is a rare original find. It is a trials, Kepi made for the Kenyan Pprison Service under Crown seal on 30th April 1956. It is in great condition with khaki drill crown, stiffened peak with detachable cover, khaki drill neck flap and green diamond flash to the front correctly pierced for badge. The interior leather sweatband of the Kepi is stamped with size '6 7/8' and by the manufacturer 'Hobson & Son London Ltd'. ( illustrated). All cloth stitching and buttons are intact and interestingly the kepi retains it's cloth trials label attached to the kepi by green cord and with original metal 'Crown seal'. The label bears the designation, description and Pattern number 5369 number together with the Crown agents address and inspection details with a warning that 'on account should the label be removed'. Rare, Original, WW2, Imperial Japanese Navy, Seaman's Cap. Sn 6773. - 6773
This is a rare, original, WW2, Imperial Japanese Navy Seaman's Cap. Made of green canvas it has a small peak with brow strap and adjustable cord at it's rear. It has 3 stitch edged ventilation holes on it's left and right sides. The front of the cap has is emblazoned with a large green roundel badge which has a stitched edge and has large central embroided yellow anchor design. Inside the cap, the number '60' is stamped clearly in blue ink. The cap is approximately size 6 1/2 and has some weathering wear consistent with Naval use at sea. This is a good condition, complete, grey painted MK II steel helmet which is painted to the front and rear ' F.A.' (First Aid0. It is approx size 7. It has a 1941 dated black treated linen liner and sprung webbing chinstrap. The inner edge of the helmet is stamped '1941 E.C.&Co'. This is a good home front helmet used during air raids. Royal Army Veterinary Corps Officer's Cap. Brigadier G.R. Durrant. Sn 6373. - 6373
This is a very good quality Officer's cap to the Royal Army Veterinary Corps. Manufactured by Herbert Johnson, 38 New Bond Street, London. It is in good order, approx size 7, with no signs of damage, mothing or repair. It is fitted with a gilt and white metal QE II badge, the correct chin strap, buttons and a gilt metal peak band. The leather sweat band is embossed in gold ' GRD' and this relates to Brigadier Geoffery Robert Durrant, CBE, QHVS, B.Vsc, NDA, NDD. Details of Brigadeer Durrant's Service is included. He also served with the Suffolk Regiment and Worcestershire Regiment, retiring in 1991. This is a good quality named cap to a high ranking Officer. price includes UK delivery. Sn 6373.

Vintage American Fire Department 2nd Precinct Officer's Service Cap. ( HE 789) - HE 789
This is an excellent condition American Fire Department Officer's Cap. It is not clear to us which city it is from so I will describe it as best as I can. The maker's stamp is clearly visible and reads.. 'BECKER TAILORING CO UNIFORM DEPARMENT CINCINNATI OHIO Est 1805' It is size 7 3/8 with a black leather sweat band which is named on the inside ' A WAULIGMAN # 71' The cap has a pierced leather border tooled to look like a rush weave. The buttons holding the chinstrap are white metal with an embossed wreath and 'FD' The gilt badge has '2' on it and the reverse is marked CG BRAXMARR & Co 10, MAIDEN LANE NEW YORK CITY' This is clearly a good quality vintage fire department officer's cap in excellent original condition.
