WW2 1940 Nazi German Mauser bnz (Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, Steyr, Austria) 7.92mm Calibre K98 Rifle & Sling**UK/EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn 19087 - 19087 This is an excellent Nazi German K98 infantry rifle. The rifle has an adjustable rear sight, block & blade fore sight, bayonet bar, cleaning rod & steel butt plate. It has all original laminated wood stock which has just light bumps and bruises consistent with age and service use. It has forward sling bar and the stock is slotted for sling anchor. The rifle is fitted with leather sling. The breech is crisply marked with the Nazi German Wartime manufacturer code bnz (Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, Steyr, Austria) and is dated ‘4’ (1940) . The weapon has several waffenamt. The breech also has model designation ‘Mod 98’. The weapon is serial number ‘7885’ and has other un-matching numbers. The weapon also has other inspection marks. Sn 18673:8 - 18673:8 **This Firearm is deactivated to one of the pre- 2nd May 2017, UK specifications. We can arrange for this firearm to be brought up to the latest UK/EU specification (customers can purchase on our lay-away scheme. The weapon will then be brought up to the EU specification and the relevant certificate obtained prior to the transfer of ownership and delivery)** This is an excellent Cold War / Vietnam War Era Chinese Jianshe Arsenal (State Factory 26) Semi Automatic carbine (these rifles were a variant of the Russian Simonov SKS-45 7.62 x 39mm, Semi Automatic rifle designed by Sergei Gavrilovich Simonov. Production of the Russian SKS commenced in 1946. The weapons were Widely used throughout the Communist block and China who began producing their own variants designated the Type 56 which saw service throughout the Cold War and Vietnam war. It is 40 ½” overall length with a 20” barrel and has a hinged box magazine. Its all original wood work has just knocks bumps and bruises to be expected and has the correct folding bayonet, steel butt plate with hinged trap, sling swivel, sling bar, shrouded fore sight and adjustable rear sight. The left side of the breech has the triangular arsenal mark with 26 of the Jianshe Arsenal 26 (also known as State Factory 296) and Soviet/ Chinese script letters together with serial number 12176428. 76428 is repeated on the bolt, breech housing and magazine. Deactivated to UK specification in 2015, the bolt does not move but the trigger moves, the magazine can be opened and the 12” clean cruciform bayonet with typical chisel tip folds and locks in place as it should. WW2 1945 U.S. Army M2 (Selective Fire Semi & Full Auto M1) .30 Calibre Carbine By General Motors Inland MFG Division With 2 Magazines & Accessories.**UK/EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn 18383 - 18383 M1 carbines saw service in WW2, The Korean war & The Vietnam War. The M2 carbine is the selective-fire version of the M1 carbine, capable of firing in both semi-automatic and full-automatic. This is a nice WW2 dated example of a U.S. M2 .30 calibre Carbine manufactured by General Motors Inland MFG Division. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2020 the carbine’s slide and trigger move and the magazines can be removed. The breech is marked with ‘US Carbine M2 Cal 30’. Under the rear sight is ‘Inland Div’ partially visible and serial number ‘7132800’. The barrel is crisply stamped ‘Inland MFG Div General Motors’ & dated ‘4-45’ (April 1945). The carbine features a military bayonet lug/slide and is complete with original webbing sling. The stock sling anchor contains the weapon's original oil container and the carbine has a U.S (army) marked webbing muzzle cover. The Carbine comes with an original box magazine and spare magazine. One magazine is stamped ‘LU’ the other ‘SS’. Both have original period rubber butt covers which are removable. The stock is fitted with a WW2 webbing double magazine carrier with flap cover and stud fastener. The front of the carrier is ink stamped 'U.S' (army) and the rear with WW2 '1943' date & indistinct manufacturer detail. The metal work and the wood stock are undamaged. The carbine is accompanied by a period canvas cover/carrier with full zip, reinforced leather tabs and shoulder strap. 1990’s Austrian Steyr Licenced Malaysian SME Ordnance Company (SMEO) AUG A1 5.56mm Calibre Assault Rifle With Integral Swarovski Optik1.5 X Magnification Telescopic Sight. **UK/EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn 18261 - 18261 The SME Ordnance Company (SMEO), formerly known as Syarikat Malaysia Explosive, is a Malaysian defence company that specialises in the manufacturing and marketing of ordnance. Created in 1969 SMEO is a subsidiary company of National Aerospace and Defence Industries. In 1991, SMEO acquired a licence to manufacture Steyr AUG rifles. The Steyr AUG A1 (German: Armee-Universal-Gewehr, R01;'universal army rifle') is an Austrian bullpup assault rifle designed in the 1960s by Steyr-Daimler-Puch, and now manufactured by Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG. The AUG has a 1.5× telescopic sight that is integrated with the receiver casting and is made by Swarovski Optik. It contains a simple black ring reticle. This example is in very good condition. The optics of the sight are excellent. It has a 20” barrel with flash suppressor and bayonet lug. Its composite stock and magazine are clean and undamaged. It has a padded recoil pad and sling swivels. The rifle has a combat fore stock pistol grip. The stock has embossed Malaysian manufacturer & AUG model detail. Calibre ‘5.56/9’ is on the barrel. **SUEZ CRISIS, CAPTURED** Belgian Egyptian Military Contract FN Model 49, (SAFN-49) Self Loading Rifle, Bayonet & Scabbard With Matching Numbers**UK/EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** D 1501:2 - D 1501:2 The Fabrique Nationale Model 1949 (FN-49) is a semi-automatic rifle designed by Dieudonné Saive and manufactured in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale. It was produced between 1949—1961 and used by the Armed Forces of Argentina, Belgium, the Belgian Congo, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Luxembourg, and Venezuela (see page 79 of the book The FN-49 by Johnson). This original Belgian Egyptian Military Contract FN-49 / SAFN-49 no doubt a captured suez crisis weapon was deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2021. Its slide moves backwards and forwards under spring tension and its trigger moves. The original wood stock has just light bumps and bruises to be expected with service use. The metal & wood with brass inlaid disc have Egyptian script marks and symbols, Belgian FN manufacturer detail and number ‘526’ . It has a winged fore sight and adjustable rear sight, brass butt plate with trap and is fitted with sling swivel lugs. The rifle comes with an original knife bayonet. The bayonet has the correct blued double edged blade with fullers. The bayonet has undamaged wood slab grips. The pommel is numbered ‘SA30 20081’. Sn 18196:23 - 18196:23 The Swedish Mausers' are a family of bolt-action rifles based on an improved variant of Mauser's earlier Model 1893, but using the 6.5×55mm cartridge, and incorporating unique design elements as requested by Sweden. These are the m/94 (Model 1894) carbine, m/96 (Model 1896) long rifle, m/38 (Model 1938) short rifle and m/41 (Model 1941) sniper rifle. In 1898 production began at Carl Gustafs stads Gevärsfaktori in Eskilstuna, Sweden. This is an original Swedish made Model 1896 (M96) bolt-action infantry rifle. It has all original woodwork and metal and has forward and rear sling swivels fitted with leather sling. It has a steel butt plate, cleaning rod, block & blade fore sight and adjustable ladder rear sight. It has all matching numbers '142191/191' on the breech, magazine plate, butt plate & bolt. The breech is stamped with the manufacturer's detail 'Carl Gustafs Stad Gevarsfaktori' with crest and '1904' date. The stock is inlaid with a brass disc marked 'Torped Overslag' together with a series of numbers (illustrated). Deactivated to early UK specification in 1992 the rifle cocks and dry fires crisply. 1903 Japanese Mauser Siamese Contract Type 46 (German Mauser G98) 8 x 50mm Calibre Bolt Action Infantry Rifle With Sliding Breech Dust Cover. Sn 18196:22 - 18196:22 Facing the threat of Western colonial expansionism in Southeast Asia during the later part of the 19th century, King Rama V of Siam (now Thailand), sought new weapons as part of a modernization program to ensure the kingdom's independence. After experiments with other rifles, the Siamese military decided to purchase a Mauser rifle based on the Gewehr 98 design as their principle service rifle and designated it the Type 46 rifle. Through various modifications, adaptations, and using various cartridges, the Siamese Mausers served as the main infantry weapon of Siam until after World War II. Some features and characteristics of the Japanese Type 35 rifle (under development in the same arsenal at that time) were also incorporated, such as the sliding dust cover. Type 47 carbines were also made on the same design lines and in 1923 Type 46/66 rifles and carbines were introduced. This is an original Siamese Type 46 rifle. It has all original woodwork and metal and has forward and rear sling swivels. It has a steel butt plate, cleaning rod, block & blade fore sight and adjustable rear sight & sliding dust cover. The metal work has Siamese crest and script characters which we believe translate to ‘1903’ date as found on other examples of this model of rifle. The rifle is serial number 754. Columbian Military Contract, Belgian FN K98 Mauser Bolt Action 7.62mm NATO Calibre Bolt Action Rifle Converted Or Made Using Parts From a WW2 Nazi German Mauser K98 Rifle & Sling. Sn 18196:18 - 18196:18 This is a Belgian K98 Mauser in 7.62mm NATO calibre. These weapons were produced by FN (Fabrique Nationale) in Belgium for Columbian Government Forces. Its woodwork and metal is all original and undamaged. The underside of the wood shoulder stock has poker work ‘7.62’ (calibre). It is fitted with an adjustable rear sight and shrouded block with blade fore sight. It has a steel butt plate, bayonet bar & its sling swivels are fitted with sling. The top of the breech is stamped with Columbian Government roundel and the left side of the breech stamped with the manufacturer's detail ' FAB NAT ARMES DE GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE'. The rifle has matching numbers on the 7828 on the breech and bolt. The magazine plate is Waffenamt WaA63 (WW2 Nazi manufacturer code for Mauserwerk Oberndorf ) & numbered ‘883’ indicating that this rifle was converted from a Nazi WW2 rifle or made using parts from a Nazi WW2 rifle. 1970’s Harrington & Richardson USA ‘Springfield Stalker’ American Civil War U.S. Army Model 1863 Springfield Sporterised .45 Calibre Muzzle Loading Rifle**UK/EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**D 1463 - D 1463 The iconic American Civil War U.S. Army Model 1863 Springfield rifle were recreated in the modern era in quality live firearms quality weapons by American & Italian Firearms companies. Made in the 1970’s this Harrington & Richardson USA rifle is a faithful live firing black powder replica of the 1863 Springfield in sporterised form deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2020 ( the hammer & trigger move). It has a 27” blued barrel and measures 43 ¼” overall. The barrel has inspection marks is numbered AM292552 together with manufacturer detail and model designation ‘Springfield Stalker’ & ’45 Cal’. SCARCE, British L59A1 (No.4 SMLE) .303 Calibre Drill/ Instructional Rifle With Sectioned Inspection Ports & Original Webbing Sling **UK / EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**D 1491 - D 1491 After WW2, some No. 4 Enfields were converted to non-firing Drill Purpose rifles and were issued a new model designation ‘L59A1’. Most of the L59A1 rifles that have been available to collectors have been in very poor condition due to their drill use however this rifle is in excellent condition. The all original wood is undamaged. It is crisply marked with the model designation at the breech (illustrated) and is fitted with original webbing sling. It has the correct winged fore sight, flip up ladder rear sight & the brass butt plate has the correct trap. It is serial number ‘8651’. This example has small red highlighted sectional cut out inspection ports on the left and right sides of the action, only visible on close inspection. The L59A1 makes an excellent demonstration rifle. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2020 the rifle’s bolt and trigger move and the magazine can be removed.
