Inter War, 1921 Dated 1907 Pattern, Australian, Lithgow, Bayonet, Double Seamed Leather Scabbard & 1908 Pattern Webbing Frog. ED 2266 - ED 2266
An excellent Australian, Inter World War dated example of the Pattern 1907 bayonet for the SMLE rifle complete with scabbard & frog. The ricasso of the bayonet is stamped by the manufacturer ' Lithgow', '1907 Within Shield' (Pattern) and '2 21' (Feb 1921). The reverse is stamped with 'A' within Star inspection marks. The blade is in superb clean condition and it's wood grips are undamaged and perfectly secure. The pommel is stamped ' A76149'. It is complete with a nice original steel mounted double seamed brown leather Scabbard. All stitching of the scabbard is intact. The rear of the scabbard has some service wear to the surface of the body. The leather is stamped with faint lettering most likely 'Mangrovite' (Mangrovite Belting Ltd, Australia). Czech Knife Bayonet For Model 58 Rifles & Scabbard. ED 2260 - ED 2260
This is an excellent Knife Bayonet for Czech Model 58 rifles. The bayonet has a 6 3/4" parkerised single edged fullered blade with medial ridge. It measures 11 1/2" overall. It has the early version short tang which incorporates the bayonet bar slot. The blade is stamped with the number 'P4313'. The reverse is stamped '02'. It has curved wood grips and is without muzzle ring. It's leather scabbard is in similar excellent undamaged condition. It has a single angled belt loop, retaining strap and stud fastener. The rear is ink stamped with a 'crossed swords' ink stamp and partial circular ink stamp at the rear lower tip. All leather & stitching are intact. Price includes UK delivery. ED 2260

No.4 MK II Socket Bayonet By Savage & Victory Plastics Scabbard with Integral Frog. ED 2243 - ED 2243
An original No. 4 MK II socket bayonet By Savage and Victory Plastics scabbard with integral frog. The bayonet is crisply stamped 'No 4 Mk II' and with the Savage manufacturer's 'S' cartouche. The push release catch works as it should. The sharpened spike bayonet blade is 8" long. The scabbard produced by Victory plastics is made of black plastic and has an intergral green webbing frog secured with two rivets. Rare, Italian M 1891/97 Mannlicher Carcano Carbine Knife Bayonet & Scabbard. Sn 9178 - 9178
These Knife bayonets were made in several variations for the Model 1891/97 Mannlicher Carcano Italian Infantry Rifles and Carbines which were used from their introduction in 1891 through WW1 and into WW2. This rare original Italian Model 1891/97 Carcano Carbine Knife Bayonet is complete with original Scabbard. The bayonet has an 11 1/2 inch single edged Mint fullered blade (16 1/2" overall). The crossguard with small muzzle ring is stamped 'A30637' and 'C'. It has the correct carbine press stud attachment button at the end of the pommel which functions perfectly (see item 171 in Bayonets Of The World Vol.1 By Kiesling). The bayonet's slab wood grips are in excellent undamaged conditioned. The bayonet is complete with original steel scabbard which has no dents. RARE, SHORT VERSION, ALL MATCHING DATES WW2 1944, Australian, Orange Factory & Lithgow Marked, MK 1 Owen Sub Machine Gun Bayonet And 'Mangrovite 44' Scabbard. ED 2215. - ED 2215
When the Australian Owen SMG was introduced into service in 1941 it was not fitted to take a bayonet. In 1944 the decision was made to add a suitable bracket so that a bayonet could be mounted. The bayonets, a shortened version of the 1907 Pattern British bayonet with 10" blade were manufactured at the Orange Rifle Factory No. 3, Orange, New South Wales and by Lithgow, Appox 600 bayonets were made with Shorter 8" blades. This WW2 example of the MK 1 'Short Version' 8" bladed, Owen SMG bayonet is in excellent condition. It is stamped on the ricasso 'MA'(Lithgow manufacturer) '1907' (Pattern) & '10 44' (October 1944) together with number '1' (Mark 1). The reverse is stamped 'X' (Government Acceptance mark) and 'OA' (Orange Factory) and War Dept arrow. The slab wood grips are stamped by the manufacturer, "SLAZ 44", (Slazengers (Australia) Pty. Ltd Sydney 1944). The bayonet is complete with original brown leather, steel mounted scabbard. The chape is marked “OA”. The leather of the scabbard is stamped with a letter 'M' (Mangrovite Belting Ltd, Australia). Price includes UK delivery. ED 2215.

MATCHING REGIMENT MARKS, 1853 Pattern Enfield Socket Bayonet For Enfield .577 Calibre Muzzle Loading Rifles & Scabbard To The 87th Lanarkshire Yeomanry Rifle Volunteers. ED 2213 - ED 2213
The Lanarkshire Yeomanry Regiment was first raised in 1819. The Regiment sponsored two companies of Yeomanry in 1900, for service in the South African War. The Regiment served as a dismounted Infantry Regiment in WW1 and provided two Field Artillery Regiments in the Second World War, before being amalgamated into The Queen's Own Lowland Yeomanry in 1956. This is a nice 1853 Pattern Enfield socket bayonet for Enfield .577 Calibre muzzle loading rifles marked to the 87th Lanarkshire Yeomanry Rifle Volunteers. It has a 17 1/2" Triform blade (21" overall) which is straight and has just light staining. The socket is complete with locking ring. The socket is faintly stamped '87 LN vn' to the 87th Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers. The Bayonet is complete with it's black leather scabbard with brass locket and chape. The Locket is nicely engraved with matching '87 LN v' mark. The leather of the scabbard is undamaged & all stitching is intact. Price includes UK delivery. This is an excellent Czech Model 58 Knife Bayonet. The bayonet has a 6 3/4" parkerised single edged fullered blade with medial ridge. It measures 11 1/2" overall. It has a full tang which incorporates the bayonet bar slot and protrudes from the end of the grips to form a curved pommel. The blade is stamped with the number '26p52'. The back of the blade is stamped '135'. It has wood grips retained by 2 rivets & short cross guard with muzzle ring. It's leather scabbard is in similar excellent undamaged condition. It has a single belt loop, retaining strap and stud fastener. The rear is ink stamped with a cartouche which contains a '1974' date amongst other numbers & letters. (illustrated). MINT, Swiss Military 1957 Pattern Bayonet/Fighting Knife By Waffenfabrik Neuhausen Wenger For STGW 57 Rifles, Scabbard & Frog By Zumstein. ED 2207 - ED 2207
This is a near mint Swiss Military 1957 Pattern Bayonet/Fighting Knife For STGW 57 Rifles. The bayonet has a pristine 9 1/2" double edged blade with medial ridge. It measures 14 1/2" overall. The ricasso is stamped with the manufacturer's 'FW' roundel (Waffenfabrik Neuhausen Wenger). The reverse is stamped '195995 W'. It has a grooved black composite handle, polished steel cross guard with muzzle ring & pommel. It's composite scabbard is in similar fine undamaged condition. It is fitted with a brown leather frog with retaining strap and stud. The frog has a large belt loop and the rear is nicely stamped by the manufacturer 'J.Zumstein, Sattler, Giswil' together with number '67'. An original, 1937 pattern German Army Officers Dress Bayonet. It has a clean blade and the ricasso is stamped with the makers name A. Evertz, Solingen. The bayonet's black stippled scales are in similar superb condition. It has a swept crossguard & birds head pommel. The bayonet is contained in it's steel scabbard which has no denting and retains some of it's original black paint. The scabbard is mounted with an original brown leather frog with single belt loop.
