This is an excellent 'The Webley Mark I Air Pistol'. These pistols were manufactured at the Webley Birmingham 4 factory Post WW2 To 1958. Production continued at their Handsworth factory into the 1960's (see pages 71 to 73 of Bruce's book Webley Air Pistols). It has excellent undamaged metal work with all of its original finish and undamaged black chequered grips embossed with the 'Webley ' name. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Mark I Made In England' highlighted in original white paint. The left side also has the correct oil hole marked 'Oil' with arrow indicator highlighted in original white paint. The right side of the cylinder is marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham' ( the Birmingham 4 post code was removed after 1958) together with the correctly abbreviated 'Webley Patents'. It has an adjustable rear sight & the barrel strap beneath the blade fore sight is stamped 'MK 1 .177'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial or batch number '143'. The rear of the cylinder is correctly marked 'Do not remove'. The pistol cocks and fires with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery. RARE, 1920's Webley Mark 1 .177 Calibre Air Pistol. AI 637 - AI 637
Webley MK 1 Air Pistols were introduced in the 1920’s. This is an excellent .177 Calibre Webley MK 1 Air Pistol (See pages 15 and 16 of Bruce's book Webley Air Pistols). It has undamaged metal work & original finish. It has its original correct Walnut grips with inlaid Webley 'winged bullet' roundel in the left grip. The left side of the frame is stamped with serial number '41700' and the cylinder 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham’ manufacturer’s detail together with ‘Britain Belgium France USA & Canada 1925 Patents’. The right side of the cylinder is stamped ‘Webley Air Pistol Mark 1 Made In England’ and with ‘Japan Switzerland Austria Spain Italy & Germany Patents’. The barrel block is stamped ‘MK1 .177’. The front of the cylinder has matching number ‘700’. The left side above the trigger has the correct safety catch feature and it has a blade fore sight & adjustable rear sight. Early 1970's Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol With Brown Grips. AI 630 - AI 630
The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip. Early examples had Brown Plastic Grips (see 119/120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is an excellent example in .22 Calibre. It is undamaged and has the early brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The frame near the left grip is stamped with the correct large E (Series designation). The front of the cylinder is stamped with number '708'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. Price includes UK delivery. RARE, 1927-1936 German Haenel Model 1928 .177 Calibre Break Action Air Pistol. Sn 12962 - 12962
Haenel Model 1928 Air Pistols were produced by C.G. Haenel Suhl Thuringer Wald Germany between 1927 & 1936 (see page 88 of Hiller's book 'The Collectors’ Guide To Air Pistols 3rd Edition'). This is an original rare Haenel Model 1928 .177 calibre break action air pistol. It has a 4 ¼” barrel with correct shallow rifling & measures 10 ½” overall. It has a block & blade foresight & adjustable rear sight. The wood grips of this example are inlaid with Haenel marked brass medallions and the top of the cylinder is crisply marked 'Haenel Mod .28 DRP Brit Pat No. 277265 USA Pat No 1751993’. The right side of the cylinder is stamped 'Made In Germany' & the left side of the barrel ‘4.5mm (.177)’ calibre detail. The pistol has an unusual cocking action. A knurled steel button on the right side of the trigger guard releases the cylinder from the grip frame and the cylinder is pulled upwards to break the pistol and cock it. The barrel breaks to allow loading of a pellet. The pistol cocks and fires as it should. It retains most of its original finish with nice patina throughout . The price includes UK delivery. Sn 12962

Boxed, Post 1950's, West German Gerstenberger & Eberwein, EM-GE Model LP3a, .22 Calibre 'Break Action' Air Pistol & Accessories. Sn 12964. - 12964
This is an excellent, Em-Ge model LP3a, made in Germany by Gerstenberger & Eberwein. (The pre-WW2 name of this company was Moritz & Gerstenberger, the brand name "Em-Ge" is the German pronuciation of the old initials "M" and "G."). These pistols were made from the mid 1950's until sometime into the late 1970's/ early 80's and had a reputation for excellent workmanship and finish. This example is excellent. It is break action with adjustable rear target sight & blade foresight. It retains its original blue metal finish and has lovely brown plastic contoured target grips which are undamaged. The pistol measures 12 ½” overall & has a 6" rifled barrel. The left side of the weapon is crisply marked by the manufacturer 'EM-GE Gerstenberger u Eberwein' together with 'Mod LP3a Made In Western Germany'. The left side of the barrel block is stamped 'Cal 5.5mm' (.22) the right side, serial number '54886'. The pistol cocks, loads and fires perfectly. It is complete with its original plastic and brass ball cocking aid helpful because of the short barrel and exposed front sight. The pistol is contained in its original foam retail box with removable lid and colourful manufacturer labelled cardboard sleeve. The box contains a cleaning cloth and a Webley pellet tin tin which contains a quantity of .22 calibre lead pellets. Price includes UK delivery. 1953-83, West German, Walther LP 53, .177 Calibre, Air Pistol. AI 619 - AI 619
The LP53 (Luft pistole/ Air Pistol)pistol) was produced between 1953 and1983. It is a .177 calibre air pistol with the same design lines as Walther's famous .22 LR Olympia target pistol. The LP53 is all metal with plastic grip panels. Movie posters for early James Bond films show Bond holding an LP 53 or Olympia pistol instead of his usual service PPK. This example is in very good condition with original finish to the metalwork and brown plastic contoured grips with Walther banners. It has target sights and is stamped on the left side of the frame with the Walther banner and patent detail 'LP Mod 53 Cal 4.5 (.177)'. The barrel block has serial number '065058'. Boxed West German Weihrauch HW 70 4.5 Calibre (.177) Air Pistol. AI 618 - AI 618
This is a West German made boxed Weihrauch HW 70 4.5 calibre air pistol in excellent condition. It has a 6 1/4" fully rifled barrel. The trigger pull is very nice and crisp. It has a fully adjustable two stage trigger which works as it should. It has a fully adjustable rear target sight and shrouded foresight. It has plastic grips which are in very nice clean undamaged condition. The metal finish is also as nice showing almost no signs of being handled. The grips have an inset "HWM" on each side. On the left side of the barrel near to the hinge point it is stamped with "Kal 45" and on the left of the cylinder "Made in Germany 049029". On the right side of the barrel on the flat it has "HW 70". It has the manufacturers name on the right of the cylinder. The box is foam lined and cut away to fit the pistol. The box is in very good condition as can be seen from the photograph. The price includes UK delivery. The Webley Mark 1 Air Pistol was produced between 1935 and 1964 with refinements being made to the model throughout the production period. This is a nice Webley Mark I Air Pistol. The pistol is stamped on the end of the cylinder with batch number "459". It has black plastic grips with Webley roundels on the right hand one. It has "Oil" with a curved arrow on the left side of the cylinder together with " The Webley Mark 1 Made in England". On the left side just below the fore sight it is stamped ".22 MK1". The cylinder is stamped on the right side "Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4" (Birmingham 4 was the Webley Pre 1958 address). It is also stamped "Webley Patents". It retains it's original blue finish. This is an excellent Webley Senior .22 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with brown plastic grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham 4' and 'Webley Patents' (The pre 1958 Birmingham area code 4 was removed post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). The forward barrel block is stamped '.22' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with Batch/ serial number '30'. 1970's 'F' Series Webley Premier .22 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 11870:10 - 11870:10
Made C1975 'F' series Webley Premier air pistols were the last of the 1964-1975 era forged steel Premiers to be produced before introduction of the redesigned Webley Premier made of aluminium materials (see page 120/121 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). This 'F' series Webley Premier is in .22 calibre. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left grip has some scuffs consistent with age and use. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with number '745'. It has a blade foresight and the forward barrel block is stamped '.22'(calibre). It has an adjustable rear sight. It is also stamped on the left side of the grip near to the grip 'F' (series).
